- In the early 1950s, the V. M. Myasishchev Experimental Design Bureau (OKB-23), under the direction of Major General of Engineering Vladimir M. Myasishchev, began designing a four-engine jet strategic bomber. In 1954, the Myasishchev M-4, NATO reporting name Bison, made its first appearance at the 1954 Victory Day parade, surprising the US and forcing it responded by building hundreds of Boeing B-47s and B-52s to counter this perceived threat.

Thank you very much.
Best regards
Dung Tran.
It is closer to the B-47 than the B-52. It had two thirds of the range of the B-47 and a lot less weapons capabilities. I think they are closer to the early V-bombers of the British than the US bombers.
Great video as usual! But a small criticism, I think what you should have titled it as the counterpart rather than opponent of the B-52
Thanks bro
Thanks
...You velly good man.
Make a video on another Soviet long range supersonic bomber M-50( BOUNDER)
in reality the only plane they had that could reach the US was the TU95 their jet engines drank fuel like a fire truck pulling of a hydrant at full throttle!!!
