Don’t be ashamed if you need to take a break during an exercise video! Just pause, breathe, drink some water and when you feel better just press play. Do it everyday and eventually you won’t need to pause anymore and you’ll feel so proud of yourself!

I hung in there more than half way through without modifying them finished strong. I’m going to look like our girl Jo by next year y’all watch me go!! Got 90+ lbs to lose! Down ten and just started with her. Her energy is amazing and so encouraging and just what not only the Dr ordered but what God sent me by finding her!! 👏

Yes, the goal should be to challenge yourself, and feel GOOD when you're done. Everyone has different levels of strength and endurance. Push yourself at whatever level you're at, and be proud! Remember, if you feel like you're going to die when it's over, you aren't likely to want to do it again lol. You should aim for a workout that makes you feel strong and charged and alive, not in pain or exhaustion :)

Weighing over 300 pounds isn't easy. This is my first time attempting to excercise in 5 years due to depression. I had to stop 6 minutes in because of excruciating back pain and muscles locking up, but I will try again tomorrow. If you're in the same boat as me and you struggle to finish the video, don't feel bad. Just keep trying and soon we can both finish the video without stopping.

From 145.17 lbs to 142.30 lbs
I want to be 116.84 lbs as 54 kg is ideal weight according to my height(=163.5cm), so I'll aim for 53 kgs that is 116.84lbs. Now that I have gained weight, my joints, back, feet hurts. It affects my self confidence too.

This is the first growwithjo workout I ever did (back in Sept. 2022) From here I did 1 new video 3x each week for 13 weeks. I’m not tracking weight loss but I can see small changes in my body shape. Mostly I notice a HUGE improvement in my posture, I’m sleeping better and without pain, and I feel calmer and more energized-especially on my workout day. So glad to have found a workout that suits my needs and lifestyle! Thanks JO ❤

Today is my first day. I started exercising in August 2020 at 436lbs. I struggled and fluctuated, but lost to 325 then had a knee injury June 2022. I am just now able to have about 90 percent range of motion in that knee. Versus when it happened I couldn't stand bend of even lift that leg without support. This has been a tough journey but I'd like to say this video was just what I needed to get a burn without fear of reinjuring my knee. I don't want to over do it, but I have picked up a few pounds when I couldn't walk. Got up to 342.2. My short term goal is 295 by Halloween. Wish me luck 🙏

I work in a job that requires me to sit all day, and after so many years it's really taken a toll on my health. In early February I decided I need to do something about this before it becomes a bigger problem than I can handle alone. When I went looking, this was one of the first videos that popped up. I have lingering injuries from an accident years ago, so I wanted something that would help me build up strength in those areas while not causing more damage. So every other day I do 15 minutes on the bike, this video, and then 10 minutes on the bike, another of your 10 minute videos, and then 5 minutes on the bike. Doing that since February, I've lost over 30 lbs.
These videos are structured so well, and the timer really helps. I've recommended your channel to so many people at this point because I feel like it's done so much for me along with a few small dietary changes. Thank you for making these, you really know what you're talking about!

I did it!! Started with a mindset of: "okay, let's try, if I can't do it, I'll take a break..." Then somewhere in the middle when I was already sore and exhausted I said: "it doesn't have to be perfect, just keep going". And I finished it! I haven't exercised in ages, have a lot to lose and this workout is perfect! Especially that I don't have much space in my apartment lol Thanks so much

Hi Jo! I came across your channel about two week ago. Today was my first attempt at working out with your videos and let me just say that was phenomenal! I was never excited to do any workouts in front of the screen, until I came across your videos. I am really grateful tat I can do this at the comfort of my home and have you as an instructor. I am glad you picked two awesome women to join your video too! You are doing great work ladies and inspiring many. I hope to be doing your workouts every day or at least 5 times a week. I have let myself go for over a year and my clothes don't fit anymore. I am hoping to lose the 30 lbs that I've gained. Many thanks for sweating with me ! hahaha
