Very helpful thanks. I noticed you don't build a middle wooden piece to the bodies of your mountain banjos. Is there a reason for this? Is the neck attached as a single piece to the top the top section of the body?
Thank you. This is just my simplification of the foxfire banjo design. Instead of a middle ring I router out a ledge around the inside of the top plate- which serves the same purpose but requires one less piece of wood. I have the neck screwed to just the bottom plate heel on my latest mountain banjo kits.
Thank you for this. I build ukes, now am going to try my hand at banjos; you channel will be a great help. BTW, you are a good instructor.
Good job on the video
👍👍 pretty cool.!. ☺️
When are these banjos coming back in stock?

How thick is the head of the banjo?
How did you cut the coffee can so cleanly?
Start a hole with a knife in the side of the can then go around it with sharp scissors
Are those just regular thumb tacks?
Tom Frost yes
