  • Making Horchata from start to finish. Such a refreshing drink to have during the afternoon to quench your thirst. It is like drinking cinnamon custard or imagine drinking liquid French Toast. I will be honest with you guys, I had 2 glasses. Very fulfilling but worth it.

    Nooooooooo! This is not the original orchata! 😭😭😭
    The original is from Spain, made of Tiger nuts, water and sugar. If you are not usted to It, It can be hard to digest. 😁
    The receip looks more like the receipt we have in Spain called "leche merengada". Maybe when both receipts traveled to México, they were swaped and changed.
    Leche merengada is milk, lemon, cinnamon, sugar. You boil the milk with the peel of a lemon and the stick of cinnamon. Add the sugar whenever you want.
    Both goes in the fridge.
    Anyway, I'll try your receipt. Looks tasty!

      This is one variation. I would like to try the tiger nut version. I made this version because I have a Mexican friend who made this version for me.
