I am acquainted with a young adult who will not go to their wardrobe alone to get clothes out because they are frightened , their parents used to lock them inside as a toddler for hours before abusing them. Now they will not take out their own clothes from a wardrobe unless a "grown up" is with them ( they are 32 years old ).
I understand your comment, but the real world is very different to what you feel is PTSD. This world has gone utterly soft.

@@ayten3617 I, too, have had my ass whooped for no reason other than the fact of the cop didn't like me. Sad part is I was the one that called them trying to report my car stolen.
I was arrested and beaten in the back of the police department. I was slammed up against walls, had my head busted open, then slammed on the ground, boot to the neck, then picked up and choked out, this process repeated several times, all while my hands were behind my back in handcuffs and lasted just under 5 mins. I was charged with resisting arrest and assault on a law enforcement officer. I sat in the city jail and was booked 24 hours later then sent over to the county jail. While they were booking me there was another woman screaming about blood being all over the wall. That was my blood they didn't even bother cleaning up from the night before.
I fought back just not right in that moment. I lawyered up and filed a complaint. All charges against me were dropped. Unfortunately for the cops everything that took place was on video and audio.
All that is to say I totally understand and as far as being a prick goes, pretty much all of em do that, I agree. But at the same time, if you look up the numbers, all over, it's very obvious; the statistics don't lie. Black people are racially profiled more so than any other race in this country.
It also speaks volumes that this man that works in the department himself and knows what "really goes on" is willing to admit it was racial profiling.
I also personally had a black friend of mine I went to school with who became a police officer and eventually a detective before he quit. I asked him what happened and he just shook his head and said he got tired of all the racism. There's another white lady I know who is a College Professor now that my mom knows personally. She, too, was an ex cop. The woman has a heart of gold and has always wanted to do everything for the right reason. She became a cop for all the right reasons. Even she had to quit the force because of what the higher-ups told them to do with people of color. And according to her they also generally didn't like her because she was a white woman and she had a black boyfriend.
It sucks anytime you're mistreated by the cops and they do miss treat all races. Unfortunately black people are disproportionately affected.

Because I'm still black on and Off the Job I'm still black. No matter what, no black person feels comfortable with the police stopping the. Unless you exclusively know the officer that's pulling you over.

This is most uncommon, while at the same time this is the kind of shit that happens every damn day in Kansas City, MO with its policing. The KCMO PD has a long history of abusing authority, especially when dealing with minorities. Just days ago another suit against the KCMO PD was settled for $325,000 that stemmed from the use of excessive force. In that incident the officers from the KCMO PD approached a 17 year-old black boy who was siting in his car on a local high school property. He was there waiting on two friends. They intended to participate in a school sanctioned event. Upon arrival the cops ordered the young man out of his vehicle. Immediately upon exiting his vehicle he was violently thrown to the ground, punched, kicked, and then tasered as two officers sat upon his chest. This occurred in 2019. Since 2014 10.8 million tax-payer dollars have been shelled out to parties who have sued after having been abused by KCMO PD officers. The vast majority of the victims have been minority members of the community. So this happens all the damn time in KCMO. What is most uncommon is that a cop was targeted, and then went public with what happened to him. He may want to retire or seek employment elsewhere now that he has failed to maintain the thin blue line's demands for secrecy.

@Scott Free :What is most uncommon is a cop coming forward and speaking. What is common is KCMO PD abusing their authority and behaving like the Klan. Did you not watch the video? Must someone take you by the hand and help you find your way through the more elementary aspects of understanding?

@@TM-nj6gw Police have protected impunity from the law which means if a police officer believed he was arresting someone for an unlawful offense, when in fact they had the wrong person, the cop is held harmless, the same goes if he shot a person believing they were fleeing from a felony, even though the officer shoots the wrong person... Police are held non-accountable under the law of qualified immunity...

@@RamBowMike respectfully your wrong. Qualified immunity protects government agents, when they are executing their duties, from civil liability for said official acts. That means when they make mistakes in good faith, they cannot be held personally responsible.. if said agents knowingly or should have known their actions were criminal, then they are stripped of their qualified immunity. The only thing that qualified immunity does for police is prevent me and you from suing them for giving us speeding tickets. I’ve heard that sovereign citizens are notorious for trying to sue cops because they don’t recognize the United States of America or our laws. If any cop is found to have committed a crime qualified immunity is stripped. Let me ask you this, since your running for office. So let’s say we strip qualified immunity. have you considered the ramifications of such a move? Do you honestly believe our society will be safer? I don’t see that. Convince me your way is better….
