I’m crying over here just witnessing your moments…and yeah, going from the funky music to the soft Piano Guys-esque stuff was totally uncool for my emotional stability! 😂😳😍🛳 🐳
Love the whale socks Jay, and the whale pictures Dee. I watched blogs 6&7 but on RUclips on my television, but I could not thumbs on it, like on my cell, so I’m gonna go back & watch again so i can thumbs up and comment!
We have used Glacier Wind Tours twice, they are wonderful. Will be sailing again July 2022 this time with Captain Casey on the 13 passenger new boat. Shawn and Teresa are wonderful.
I had a Dee moment and cried! I want to see the whales! I am cruising in May 2022 on the Carnival Freedom, but I don't think my cruise will do to this port! NOW, I will cry some more.
My sister and I took the gondola to the Norwegian dock. While there, Regina Mahr spotted the orca swimming around and it eventually went over to the Carnival ship. It was very cool!
Great whale watching tour with Glacier Winds ! We see Orca whales occasionally as we live on Vancouver Island but that was a lot of Humpbacks you saw on this tour. Bonus getting that Tram ride too! We are doing first Alaska Cruise in July 2022 with Grand Princess - really enjoying your videos as preview, thank you 😊
It is the best content ever💜 Those whales are so majestic, it’s emotional. I’ll definitely bring a few tissues when i go next year. And to end that wonderful excursion with a rainbow. Couldn’t write that script. Thanks for sharing.
Love ISP. When we were there, a whale breached about 10 feet from the shore. It was so cool. Some of the crew were actually swimming in the water. It was about 70 degrees. Great vlog. Thank you.
That totem pole in the shopping area looked like one of those "Never Give Up" statues. It looked like something was being eaten, but what was being eaten was strangling the eat-or. Think the one I have seen is a pelican trying to eat a frog.
I am so excited for our trip - I just booked the 6 person boat with Glacier Wind Charters and its going to be a long 9 month wait but it looks like it is going to be so worth it!
Yes - same as I thought too - Before watching Jay and Dee's, I was watching quite a few on ISP and realized - hey, cool place! And, lots to do also with some great sights and that new gondola ride too.
Amazing video of one of our favorite ports, Icy Strait. Wish more people would explore this little gem. Also, a huge thank you for showing your Glacier Wind experience --- have gone with them MANY times and they are the BEST in our opinion. Your videos are so much fun to watch, thanks for brightening our day.
This was a excellent port. There was so many whale sightings. I'm going to book Alaska again, maybe I can go in 2022. My 2020 cruise was cancelled. I was so disappointed 😞 because I waited all 2019 and was so excited with the countdown.
Wow. Beautiful video. I just got off the Ovation and I can't wait to go back to Alaska again. I think next year I'll try the Miracle so I can go to the other ports. I loved the whales. Great videos of them.
I'm not going to Alaska but my very first cruise ever is in 12 days on Symphony of the Seas to the Eastern Caribbean. I can't wait. I have been binge watching your videos. I love you guys your videos are so informative. 😍😍😍😍
What an awesome whale watching trip! Although I’ve traveled from Australia to Alaska twice, I haven’t been to Icy Straight yet. That is now on my bucket list. Thanks for having me along on this wonderful virtual cruise. 👏🤗😊
That was amazing. Planning to return to Alaska, maybe next Sept. Will be looking up Glacier Wind Charters. I'm surprised I didn't see Dee crying, I sure was. Alaska is just so beautiful. Can't wait to go back!!
I've been watching numerous Icy Straight Point youtubes and now generally interested in arranging my cruise to include ISP - your video did show a lot more changes that were obviously just recent to the port. That was great to see too and added to my interest. I was however expecting you guys to take a ride on the zips! :)
Awesome video! Your pics were perfect and Loved the socks of the day. Thank you for sharing. Going on my 2nd Alaska Cruise in July 2022. I did all my excursions through Carnival the first time. What has been your expierence booking through a 2nd party? Thank you.
Amazing whale activity coupled with great music! My whale watch from Icy Strait wasn't quite as active but was fun nonetheless. The town of Hoonah was closed off to passengers due to a rash of COVID cases. Wonderful video!
Nothin' like a little "free and frugal fun" with that lift!! Do you know if the Royal Caribbean ships have access to that lift thingy? Cannot wait for our Alaskan cruise next year!!
I just saw that you guys are cruising on Splendor but the day we get back. I'm so bummed now. I would of loved to of been on the same cruise with you guys. My boys, husband and I all watch your adventures. Such a shame. Maybe we will meet in the passing of the ship over to you. LOL
We see bald eagles in the outskirts of town( Greeley,CO). I saw a bunch in the Kenai penninsula. A friend said that a couple of weeks before there were perhaps a hundred there !
Wow, that was incredible. The only time a whale watching trip has come that close for me was the Provincetown one but still pales in comparison to this!
We have a cruise tour scheduled for July of next year. We are going to this destination, and I am very excited about the whale watching. How would I recognize Barry, if we do get the thrill of seeing him as we pull in?
I LOVE your channel! May I ask if you know if they still sail with their smaller boat? I've been spoiled in Hoonah with 6 passenger boats and went on a 13 passenger boat in Juneau. I just didn't care for so many elbows in my photos! :)
That was beautiful! The whales knew you were coming... That was a cool gondola ride, I'll have to try it next time... Is your Alaska cruise next year a group cruise?
Hey guys!! Do you fly non stop to Seattle? And do you fly a day before your cruise and fly back on debark day or the day after debarkation? What do you suggest?
I literally cried watching your whale footage. How amazing.
I am tears with the soft music and seeing the whales. So amazing! Can’t wait to go.
I like Dee. She's funny and talented. I wish we saw more of her.
Oh wow those whales were just magnificent and so majestic. Just amazing footage, thank you!
Could watch the whales and listen to the pretty piano music you inserted with it for hours. Magical! 💙
I’m crying over here just witnessing your moments…and yeah, going from the funky music to the soft Piano Guys-esque stuff was totally uncool for my emotional stability! 😂😳😍🛳 🐳

The whales are so majestic. So many of them. I guess they heard you guys were coming.
The gondolas is like the ones at Disney world!
Love the music you chose for viewing the whales!
Great pairing of music with whale watching!
The pure joy from Dee is captivating!! She just loves whales and it’s evident in this video! So excited you got to see all those whales!! Amazing!!
So beautiful. I’m not crying, you are !
That is the same gondola system as Disney's Skyliner! Great system!
It’s very very late in the season glad you had a good trip. And no rain. LOL. Well a little.
I had a Dee moment and cried! I want to see the whales! I am cruising in May 2022 on the Carnival Freedom, but I don't think my cruise will do to this port! NOW, I will cry some more.
That was Awesome! Thank you!
The whale video was amazing, thanks for taking us with you
Wow! A "newfie bullet" in Alaska!!
These vlogs really want to make this newfie go to Alaska!! It reminds me so much of Newfoundland
I love you both. Every time I watch your videos, I cry happy tears. If I ever meet you in person, I will be a blubbering idiot.
Exactly how I feel, I thought I was the only one. I would probably not even be able to say hello. They are just the sweetest couple ever.
I feel the same way about this wonderful couple!! They are "the cat's meow" and just as wonderful in person!!
My sister and I took the gondola to the Norwegian dock. While there, Regina Mahr spotted the orca swimming around and it eventually went over to the Carnival ship. It was very cool!
Wow! Definitely want to go to Icy Strait Point! Great video!
Dee takes the best photos! 💘
You got some wonderful footage! Thanks for sharing your excursion.
Amazing numbers!! Never saw that many in July!
🐳OMG🐳 BEST whale footage ever!!
Someone sounds like they are typing a story about the wale's on the boat. My goodness.lol
Great sightings!
Great job of editing. Loved the background music while watching the whales. Onto the next port..!
Good morning, another beautiful video!
Love the videos. I’m trying to keep up lol . Wow the whales are amazing 🐋🌈

Wow! I'm hooked! Was originally not going to do excursion in Icy Strait but you've convinced me otherwise. Thanks! Love the rainbow near the ship!
Just beautiful and wonderful
Apart from the sites I LOVE your showcase of the food and shopping.
Love ISP. When we were there, a whale breached about 10 feet from the shore. It was so cool. Some of the crew were actually swimming in the water. It was about 70 degrees. Great vlog. Thank you.
Those whales were magnificent. I actually teased up. Thanks for sharing your trip.
Beautiful whale shots...so graceful...
What type of camera are you (Dee) using for your still shots...they are perfect
What an incredible whale day. They are so claiming to watch.
They are beautiful, so graceful. You have me crying here in Georgia.
Thank you so much for the Whale watching! Loved it! Great vlog!
That totem pole in the shopping area looked like one of those "Never Give Up" statues. It looked like something was being eaten, but what was being eaten was strangling the eat-or. Think the one I have seen is a pelican trying to eat a frog.
Looks amazing can't wait to go in summer of 2022!!!
I am so excited for our trip - I just booked the 6 person boat with Glacier Wind Charters and its going to be a long 9 month wait but it looks like it is going to be so worth it!
Wow! Spectacular! 🐳❤️🌊
Thank you so very much Dee and Jay for taking us along!
That was such a sight to behold. Amazing!! Thank youso much for your beautiful content. I'm in awe.
Thank you! Loved this - you have totally changed my mind about Icy Strait Point. Always thought there was nothing there - wrong!
Yes - same as I thought too - Before watching Jay and Dee's, I was watching quite a few on ISP and realized - hey, cool place! And, lots to do also with some great sights and that new gondola ride too.

Believe me if I could afford to keep you both on cruising I do it in a heartbeat! Keep the VLOGS coming!!! 👍👍👍
Beautiful, just beautiful!
All I can say is "WOW"!! I can hardly wait to cruise to Alaska - we've never been, but watching your videos (and Don/Tony's) has made me long to go.
Same here! Making preliminary plans...Just need to find the most economical way to get from Florida to Seattle...Hmmmmm..LOL
@@Pantherjonvideos Same here. I am in NJ and traveling solo - so checking quite a few cruise lines as well as R/T Seattle flights :)
Incredible wale watching. That tram reminds me of the skyliner at Disney world. So fun to ride. Have an amazing time guys.

seriously such a beautiful thing to watch! I loved how they looked in slow motion..
Wow. Beautiful video. I just got off the Ovation and I can't wait to go back to Alaska again. I think next year I'll try the Miracle so I can go to the other ports. I loved the whales. Great videos of them.

That was magical. Can’t believe how many whales you were able to see. Incredible.
Well, Dee DID wear her lucky hoodie! 😉
@@Pantherjonvideos So true 😁
Ok take my money! I need an Alaskan cruise in my life!
Book early. Take an inside cabin. Not horribly expensive. LOL you can do it if I could. Good luck.
What a fantastic experience you had with the whales, thanks so very much for sharing
Words can't decide how I felt seeing the Whales it was breathtaking Alaska is amazing thank you for sharing you did an awesome job filming

We looked at that, but for $140 per person for a ride up on the shuttle and a quick zip down, we thought better of it!! :P
Another great video !!

Love your videos!! Cruising via your videos!! Cruise in 214 days!! RC out of New Jersey ( thanks Dee for helping us!!)
That sad music during the whale watching tho 😢
I just saw that you guys are cruising on Splendor but the day we get back. I'm so bummed now. I would of loved to of been on the same cruise with you guys. My boys, husband and I all watch your adventures. Such a shame. Maybe we will meet in the passing of the ship over to you. LOL
I’m going to have to do this amazing tour.
Love all the content but Dee's stills are exceptional!
Spectacular ! I can only imagine how much more of an experience this was in real time ! So priceless !!
We see bald eagles in the outskirts of town( Greeley,CO). I saw a bunch in the Kenai penninsula. A friend said that a couple of weeks before there were perhaps a hundred there !
All I can say is THANK YOU, that was spectacular, I live in England and will never get to Alaska so these videos are very special to me ❤❤❤
So nice!
Wow, that was incredible. The only time a whale watching trip has come that close for me was the Provincetown one but still pales in comparison to this!
Yay!!! More whale watching!
Great day😀
You’ve got me plotting a trip for next summer! As always thank you for sharing your shenanigans with us.
We have a cruise tour scheduled for July of next year. We are going to this destination, and I am very excited about the whale watching. How would I recognize Barry, if we do get the thrill of seeing him as we pull in?
I went on a whale watching tour when I visited Virginia Beach in December and there was this little boy who said they smelt like Broccoli. Lol
Epic vlog today!
Tammy loves how giddy Dee gets, when she sees whales ....etc.
And yes Jay all kids are not cute
Dee you are so sweet and Jay I love your sense of humour, I’m so happy your whale watching was so amazing.
Thank you again.
I LOVE your channel! May I ask if you know if they still sail with their smaller boat? I've been spoiled in Hoonah with 6 passenger boats and went on a 13 passenger boat in Juneau. I just didn't care for so many elbows in my photos! :)
They do! Shawn still normally captains the 6-passenger Catabatic, and Casey captains the newer 13-passenger boat.
@@parodeejay I booked with them, thanks to your vlog!
Fantastic video and the quality is great can I ask what video equipment you use 😎👍
Thanks so much! We try to list all our gear in the description of every video for the curious!! :P
Wow 🤩
That was beautiful! The whales knew you were coming... That was a cool gondola ride, I'll have to try it next time... Is your Alaska cruise next year a group cruise?
Hey guys!! Do you fly non stop to Seattle? And do you fly a day before your cruise and fly back on debark day or the day after debarkation? What do you suggest?
We have both times thus far but it’s a haaaaaul, ha ha… we go day before, yes. But we normally fly out on debarkation day.
It’s really risky my opinion. I go day before. But it’s an added expense.
Love the whale watching. Do the whales really move that slow?
Yep yep, no special effects involved, hah… they give you plenty of time to get photos!! :D
I’m wondering do whales ever fight over the food? Your video was excellent capturing their breath, their dive and their tails.
Love the eagle picture!! What kind of camera is Dee using for her pictures? They're really nice and sharp!
