Our west coast cruising adventures continue onboard Radiance Of The Seas from Royal Caribbean as we head out on back-to-back 7-day northbound and southbound Alaska loops! We sailed from May 6-20, 2022 out of Vancouver, Canada with stops in Ketchikan, Sitka, Juneau, Skagway, and sailing through Hubbard Glacier before arriving in Seward, Alaska... then back through Hubbard Glacier with stops in Juneau, Skagway, Haines, Icy Strait Point, and Ketchikan before ending back in Vancouver... let's do this thing!

We love the small boat experience with Glacier Wind! They have a six-person boat with Captain Shawn (Teresa's husband) which we did in 2019, and a 13-passenger with Captain Casey (their son) which we've done twice now. :D

WOWSA!!! I cannot believe that you saw all that bubble feeding!! THIS is now one of my goals for future Alaska things to see!! Totally so very awesome! I'm happy you were also able to see Barry, although that skull in the branches was very odd, indeed. The room service looked good; I would have enjoyed any of your selections (I also like to pair grilled cheese and tomato soup - it's a great combo!)

We were just there on the Celebrity Eclipse. We did the gondola up Mt. Alice and hiked some of the trails. It was a beautiful day. Next time we will do the whale watching tour. Your video was awesome! Thank you for sharing!

Because of your vlogs, we went with Glacier Wind Last week. So glad we did, so thank you! We’ve gone 2 times before but the company we went with first retired. That long hanging moss is called lichen (like-en).

OMG you had the best day in ISP! Evan and I rode the gondolas and just stayed in the Port area. My legs were still bugging my so we didn't walk a ton. Wanted to go into town, but I didn't want to do much while Michael was stuck in quarantine. We also got donuts at that food truck! I got huckleberry and Evan got chocolate. We definitely want to go back to ISP
That trail, where Dee found that skull, leads back up to where the lower gondola drops people off. We were there two weeks ago and took that same trail! Love the vlogs!
What an awesome day! I loved Icy Strait. We actually did the Ziprider. Yikes! That new gondola ride is no joke either. lol We also just happened upon Barry sightings, so that was neat. I hope we can go back some time.
We go next year and I can’t wait to see whales. Never been whale watching before!

Wow that was amazing! I live on the west coast of Canada and have seen whales the odd time in the distance, but I`ve never seen bubble feeding, that was mind-blowing!!
I think Icy Straight was my favorite stop. Every where you looked was a postcard.

What a great video of the whale watching excursion. Thank you for the recommendation to Glacier Wind Charters. Funny how some cruise lines, like Princess, do not charge for room service. Since the addition of the Medallion App, I have ordered every day while on board Princess for cabin delivery. It's an awesome service. Pros & cons to each line. My question is this - was the food hot when they delivered it? Besides the brown gravy, how were the flavors?
Wow! You two always have the best luck when it comes to whale watching😁, If only I could get just half of that luck I would be a happy camper. My husband and I enjoy your cruise vlogs, he always says " there's a new Dee Jay, wanna watch"? I say of course! Thank you for all your content and Jay's sock of the day😁.
We love seeing free room service, and Princess is especially amazing with the in-app ordering! Our Royal experience was decent, the food was hot, and everything tasted good. I don't think we had anything that we wouldn't order again, actually!! :D

They sell out faaaaast, since they only have between 6 and 19 spots for any given day, depending on how many boats are running!! :D
@@parodeejay They did sell out, I was able to go with another company, Alaska Shore Tours, let's see how that is. But later on that day Glacier Winds contacted me that they had 2 cancellations, had to tell them I was already booked with someone else...next time...
