I'm at work by myself all this week...guess what I've done...watched all your videos back to back on my second screen while working! Thanks for all your stuff! I just love you guys. I think we could be friends. You're so down to earth and relatable!
We loved the White Pass Scenic Railway the one and only time we visited Skagway- I highly recommend this tour! Went in August and there was a lot less snow! Great for my husband, who was due to get a hip replacement. You get spectacular views without having to do much walking or vigorous hiking. I continue to find the dramatic "Sock of the Day" music highly amusing. :)
In Skagway in 2015 it was raining we boarded the 1920’s bus for a tour. Later we were on the White Pass Railway! Beautiful!! We were late but the ship waited for us! 😊
We LOVED Skagway SO MUCH! It was our favorite port and that train trip was so beautiful! We were supposed to have the train one way and bus the other, however they changed it to the White Pass Summit trip that you took, and then we also got a tour of the city and photo spot, which was awesome. We booked through Shore Excursions Group and we were super happy with the pricing and the tour. It sure was good that you were through the ship, because it seemed to run a tad late. So sorry to hear of the medical emergency but glad it didn't happen when you were out to sea. Much love to you both!
I really enjoyed seeing Skagway with you today. I felt like I was there. I have been there 3X. My favorite town to walk around in. You guys coverage of your port stops is so good. Keep enjoying your trip.
Love the train in May with so much snow!! I DROPPED my camera on the way back down & thankfully people on the platform remembered about where we were and the train staff was able to recover it - AMAZING!! SO THANKFUL!! Enjoying the Alaska videos - such a great trip down memory lane!
I miss Alaska so much. Planning next trip with a friend who has never been. ( her husband doesn't like to travel). Thanks for the wonderful memories. I know we will have a great time.
As a 4'11" girl vs. Jay at 6' 5" it is so lovey to see that essentially, we are all awkward! Dee at 6'1" +.... girl love those with both torso and legs LOL
I agree with some of the other comments. I too, felt like on was on the train ride with you! That was some great footage. It looked scary and interesting at the same time. This was great!
Looks like your day was perfect! Our trip you were lucky to see your hand in front of your face. We were able to see the ship in port after we got way back down the mountain. Congratulations. Ya'll have had great weather. In September the snow was totally melted even at the top.
I think that was the port where we were at the other dock, and they paint signs on the rocks for each of the cruise ships as they come in. They were painting ours that day as it must have been the first time it was there in 2000.
Did the White pass, wouldn't do it again but worth it to try. When we went we were socked in fogged up and hardly got to see anything. Most enjoyable thing I did, was sit on our aft balcony (we were backed in) with binoculars and watch for mountain goats up on the mountains..so chill and relaxing! If you cruise Alaska in September (last cruise before relocating for winter) all the shops are half price on everything! Ulus are awesome but if you don't pay at least $50, you will make a mistake. I got the cheaper one and it was crap metal, probably made in China.
Coffee and doughboys, I'm ready to go back. We were just there last September on the Carnival Miracle where we briefly met our favorite RUclips. Cruise hosts. Paro Dee Jay. Thanks for the video.
YEAH…..you were missed yesterday! We board the NCL Bliss today in Seattle for a round trip and can’t wait to get going! We don’t have Skagway on this itinerary but we’ve been before so it’s all good.
You two need to come to Michigan and go to Frankenmuth, Travers City, zip back down to Greenfield Village and Henry Ford Museum. You can drive across to Canada and hit Niagara Falls in Canada come back through to NY, hit Buffalo etc. and head back home. It would be a great road adventure.
I liked Hubbard the best, it is the largest tide water glacier in Alaska. I think that tops Glacier Bay. In Sept. the ice calving is sensational...may be a little early for much of that in May.
Woot!! Train ride looks spectacular(a pretty over used word when in Alaska I think...LOL)! Looking and planning for our trip to Alaska, possibly in 2024.. Dream itinerary: Port Canaveral transit through Panama Canal to L.A./Long Beach..Then up to Alaska(possibly doing this B2B north then southbound cruises?), Then out of L.A./Long Beach through Panama Canal back to Orlando/Port Canaveral..Possible even? How long, and how much $$$?? Commence research!
Hey Dee, I got a peak at your cute shoes in this video! Could you share which brand they are? I am looking for some for my Alaska trip in August! Thank you. Loving the vlogs Jay...your commentary always makes me smile! :)
Thanks for sharing your Alaskan tour. I took an Alaskan cruise years ago and would love to go back. Do you have a preference on what ship to take and itinerary? What’s the best time to go?

Thanks so much! Glad to have you along for our craziness, hah!! :D
Thank you for showing the bathroom. As someone with kids that are particular about such things it is nice to know what to expect if they need to go.

My fav port in Alaska.

The ulu knife is the perfect knife for frozen pizza. That’s what I use mine for.
Alaska is our favorite itinerary. More specifically, Skagway is our favorite port. So sad 😞 we will not see it on our B2B in July.
Love all your videos; this one is especially fun to see. Will you to a transatlantic sailing? That would be interesting to see.
We had one set for 2020, but that didn’t work out, ha ha… trying again in 2023!! :D
‘Apparently they found a kilo’ you are hilarious dee. Love the touches of humor
So happy to view your train tour. Ours was cancelled by Celebrity due to conflicts with the ArriveCan Canadian Border issues.

Love Skagway!! It hasn’t changed much since 2011!! Need to go back!

That was absolutely awesome 🥰🥰. Beautiful snowy mountains thanks again for sharing your adventures with us.
We did the White Motor Car tour, made in Cleveland!
Man, this whole series. I want to go back to Alaska. For now, I may have to live through my parents trip next year. :)

Enjoyed the train ride. The snow in May was amazing!
Anxious to do Alaska again. So beautiful. Nice to relive some of our experiences through you guys. Thanks for sharing.
Going to Skagway in late July, glad to see the video, helps with planning

Those old wooden train trellises freak me out.

We got drunk once and followed the wrong squares. But we still made it back without being pier runners. We chalked it up to a good story.
Never been to Alaska yet but it looks nice and beautiful. Have fun

The ones I wore during the day to walk around are Merrell and I've had them forever. The night time are Crocs.
@@Dee-of-ParoDeeJay Awesome! Thank you Dee...enjoy Hawaii!
