Can someone please explain why VW servicing does not include a simple check to see if there is any problem with the air con.
The simplest of checks….. run the car and switch on the AC on recirculate and check if cold air is coming through the air vents.
I’ve checked with the VW dealerships UK and none do this, but charge for it if asked. £170!
I got my 6 year old VW golf serviced only to find on my way home that the air con wasn’t working on a hot day.
