He's 100% right about picking a career you would do for free, and mid-life crisis's hitting if you don't. I'm 30 and chose a job for the money, and hate every day of it. Not a way to live.

He’s so right if you love what you do and believe in it with your whole heart you’ll never work a day in your life. Now that I’m in my 40’s I totally agree with that statement. That being said people who aren’t happy with their job but continue to do it to provide for their family I tip my hat to those people because they are sacrificing themselves to make sure their family has what they need. Great interview and because of guys like this we get to enjoy our freedom and pursue our dreams.

To be fair, they are two different tier 2 units the seals have the most demanding physical and psychological training, and within their bud specialty also their 16 man platoon can do HVT and they are one of the best at it, water is not For anyone if not physically tough and consistent individuals, seals are the best in the water that's what makes them so special is their specialty. The Green Berets are ODAs of 12 highly experienced and mature men who pick up culture, language, economics, politics plus many spend years serving in the infantry or 75th Ranger Regiment before going up for selection. The Green Berets their main business is unconventional warfare, they are the best at it, and although they have their CIF units, the SEALs per platoon have more men for direct action. Here it is worth saying that depending on the needs of the mission is the unit that will be used. Also, if we want to talk about numbers, the 75th Ranger Regiment, a company in a single deployment, killed 1,900 terrorists, which neither of these two units together could do. And if people want to know which is the most clandestine tier 1 unit against terrorism are the (Cag-delta force) look for the interview of Kevin Holland who was in the Devgroup seal 6 and later went to delta he confirmed it in the initial training delta had to walk or run 400 miles. In the end what I want to say is that all these men no matter what unit they belong to are incredible and they are the best in their mission business they cannot be compared it is as if a heart surgeon told the brain surgeon I am better than you that's crazy, they are all equally good at their specialty.

In the Green Berets vision plan for conflicts in the future 2021 forward with adversaries such as China and Russia. They are creating the companies (HTD Hard Target Defeat ) that will do a job similar to what CiF did in the war against terrorism, but in this case the companies (HTD will be with more up-to-date technology and techniques according to the type of war that we will face in the future.

How is marines the best when you can join and sign up well not even having a contract for the career path you wanted and end up being a cook (“nothing against cooks”)… on a naval ship, feeding for 400 men 3 times a day , when in reality you really wanted to become infantryman and kick down doors and fight bad guy… but your recruiter tricked you into signing and now your stuck
On a ship for 9 months, sleeping in racks that are stacked up 4 high, having to wake up extra early to microwave smelly eggs for 400 sailors… “BUT” like I always say… everyone’s experience In The military is different. ( btw. I’m just talking shitt, every branch, every MOS ( job ), is important. We all work Together. And all do pretty much the same shit)

Notice how navy seals were chosen to raid and kill bin laden even though they are navy and there was no water, amphibious, nothing to do with water in that mission yet they were still chosen. It's because they are the best anywhere, rangers can't operate in water like seals but seals can even more on their land as well.
