Something that helped me was the mentality that dying for my wife is honorable but an authentic man will live for his wife. Be present for her. Help her through life. Encourage her, and teach her. Most importantly listen to her. That’s hard but that’s love. Sometimes it’s harder than dying

Shawn seems so much more relaxed and laid back since his treatment. I'm going to get my Dad to watch Shawn's story. Maybe he can find that feeling of happiness and relaxation and find relief from his PTSD symptoms. @@marccano5061 I don't think it was being macho. There was a stiffness and watchfulness. I see it in my Dad as well. It's like they are strung so tight all the time there body never relaxes. There was a part of the episode where Shawn laughed and it was so different than in other videos. He's lost that stiffness through his whole body.It's so difficult to describe. I see some of the same things in my dad. I have watched my dad struggle with his PTSD. After he retired from the Army he moved like 2 miles away from me to be closer. I use to see him every weekend. Now he's going to the VA every week, I barely see him 2 or 3 times a month now. I'm afraid for him. I call everyday to make sure he's ok. But the VA isn't working. It getting critical now I'm afraid.
@stacey b I see the same changes in Shawn even has a new brightness to his eyes and facial expressions. Don't hesitate to guide your Dad to try this alternative healing it works have seen it work with others and personally been through similar treatments. Plant medicine is powerful wishing you the best with your Dad.
Don't lose contact with your dad. Be sure and stay close by and check on him often. You may also check in with your closest VA outpatient clinic and see what you can do to be more pro-active. Best to you and your dad.

As a GM2 back in 2010, We had two BUDs Dropouts assigned to us via them choosing GM, and those two guys humbled a lot of us. Hard workers and always ready to rock out for the team. One was older then I was at the time and he was a great asset for the younger guys due to his life experiances and just overall level headed nature. Ship life was definitely wild but I miss it at times.

Very intelligent guy he speaks from the heart. So amazing he accomplished being a seal making his first million at 35. What he says is so true money is great to have in terms of comfort and being able to support your family. That being said it doesn’t change who you are all your fears and imperfections still exist. Something that helped me was the mentality that dying for my wife is honorable but an authentic man will live for his wife. Be present for her. Help her through life. Encourage her, and teach her. Most importantly listen to her. That’s hard but that’s love. Sometimes it’s harder than dying

Shawn seems so much more relaxed and laid back since his treatment. I'm going to get my Dad to watch Shawn's story. Maybe he can find that feeling of happiness and relaxation and find relief from his PTSD symptoms. Shawn thanks for bringing these things to light.VA seems to only prescribe more pills just to treat the symptoms. Happiness suits you ! @@marccano5061 I don't think it was being macho. There was a stiffness and watchfulness. I see it in my Dad as well. It's like they are strung so tight all the time there body never relaxes. There was a part of the episode where Shawn laughed and it was so different than in other videos. He's lost that stiffness through his whole body.It's so difficult to describe. I see some of the same things in my dad. I have watched my dad struggle with his PTSD. After he retired from the Army he moved like 2 miles away from me to be closer. I use to see him every weekend. Now he's going to the VA every week, I barely see him 2 or 3 times a month now. I'm afraid for him. I call everyday to make sure he's ok. But the VA isn't working. It getting critical now I'm afraid.
@stacey b I see the same changes in Shawn even has a new brightness to his eyes and facial expressions.
Don't hesitate to guide your Dad to try this alternative healing it works have seen it work with others and personally been through similar treatments.

As a GM2 back in 2010, We had two BUDs Dropouts assigned to us via them choosing GM, and those two guys humbled a lot of us. Hard workers and always ready to rock out for the team. One was older then I was at the time and he was a great asset for the younger guys due to his life experiances and just overall level headed nature. Ship life was definitely wild but I miss it at times.

Very intelligent guy he speaks from the heart. So amazing he accomplished being a seal making his first million at 35. What he says is so true money is great to have in terms of comfort and being able to support your family. That being said it doesn’t change who you are all your fears and imperfections still exist. Which is why working to become a better person is so important to do every day. Great interview loved every minute of it

Great show, Eli seems like a great dude. I especially loved the last approximately ten minutes where he talked about Wild at Heart and how it changed his life and marriage. This was an eye opener for me.
Lemme guess....."dirty politicians" and "enemies foreign and domestic" only means the people who don't agree with your political ideology. A lot of the people that post on this channel are right wing aligned....which is totally fine. I was a republican majority of my life, but Trumpism turned me off with the direction the Republican Party was heading. Dont get me wrong, it's not like I'm some big fucking fan of democrats, but this obsession with Trump and how his followers blindly follow him no matter how much shit he does, I can't stand it. I will NEVER forgive him for when he stood on the FUCKING WORLD STAGE AT HELSINKI and said he believed PJTIN....the same fucking puppet master pulling the strings behind this "special military operation" in Ukraine that is killing civilians....women, children, raping and pillaging the land of its resources...yea, he said he believed that asshole over his own US intel. Fucking disgusting
