- The hiker was saved thanks to "Fat Bear Week" viewers of the popular livestream, spotting the man on camera and leading authorities to rescue him on a remote Alaska mountain.

That hiking point is slightly more difficult to reach than most average trails, but it's doable on a sunny, clear day. I've gone to the halfway point, and it's a beautiful overlook. But to continue up to where he got, where the trails are poorly maintained and not visible in fog, was not a great decision.

Really, so this is so typical. Actually My husband was the one to read the man’s lips. A few of us were on line watching and we were discussing what the man was saying. And just about that time My husband came in, and I asked what is this man saying. The man was asking for help, didn’t know which way to go. Real Heroes always go unseen!!!! Just so thankful the man is safe.
Naw, real heroes are seen all the time. There’s an app called RUclips if you’re interested.

It was also dangerous that he was hiking during bear fat week, these bears are hungry.
They blurred this poor man’s face out because they thought he might get attacked by online trolls. Sadly, they were right.
I would love to me the person who has never made a poor choice or taken a wrong turn in life. Glad this tale ended well for him.

Fat Bear Week Camera? - The Explore Bear Cams have been going for 11 seasons at Brooks Falls and run all Summer, Fat Bear Week celebrates the end of the season and Bears heading off to their dens nice and fat for their Winter hibernation - don't know if the lost hiker was a Bear Cam viewer but if he was, he would have known about the Camera on top of Dumpling mountain and that he could ask for help that way.
He said that you can show his face now.
We need more these cameras!
Also the viewers couldn't communicate with the hiker, these cameras should have two way audio just in case.
This was a hoax. All staged. Explore has a rule not to take videos, pics or comment about humans but hey this time was okay. Oh and that GA bear mod is a hipocrit, double standard mod. All of them are but she's the worse.

Right, those ppl robbed him of fighting through the fear when would have inevitably ended with him being accepted into the family of already full bears. Eventually being coined “fat bear man” and becoming the most famous human within the fat bear watcher community.
I think this was one of the least expensive rescue missions ever 😂
