Thankyou so much for your videos, we are travelling to north Yorkshire tomorrow for a few days to view potential parks and vans. After hearing some horror stories and negativity, we nearly cancelled. However if we don't go we will never know if its the right thing or not We really like your honesty and advice. Please keep up your videos as you are helping people even if they dont comment, all the best with your winter van life 😊
We have a 2 bed static on our garden, those people who move caravans are experts in what they do,got to move ours soon to a different bit in the garden, going to borrow a friends tractor 😊
Some years back me, my wife and two small kids lived in a van while I was rebuilding a derelict cottage - like all such adventures it was supposed to be for a very limited time but with building works...! I'll let you judge how long ago by telling you that the transport cost only £200, but that's all we could afford too. The corner of the field we were siting the van was flat but the approach was a bit sloped : "No problem" said my farmer neighbour, "my tractor'll push it back there..." Well it did, but halfway across the slope one of the caravan tyres popped under the strain! I will never forget the struggle to jack it out of the mud, get the rusty wheel off to mend, and eventually grunt the beast into place. A week later, the mud was frozen under several inches of snow, and all the pipes froze solid - "welcome to van life!" 😮😂 But we fixed it, conditions improved, and we all loved much of the experience that followed. And it bought us (cheap) time to build our home. 😎
Great video Ivan and Ginny! I held my breath I think for most of the video. I found it really interesting. Didn't those boys do brilliant! Well done guys! 🙌🙌 Thank you for sharing. 🌸🌸
Only if you could move a bungalow or house in the same way if you had bad neighbours I think this is what makes mobile homes have the advantage over brick buildings
I have a lodge and bought it new without viewing it, or how it even got here. Since my arrival have watched them put several onto the site and fit the two halves together and put a lodge together . It is phenomenal to watch. I also live in a place with tiny, narrow roads and a very narrow and difficult entrance , so kudos to the drivers and maintenance men who do the job. No wonder it costs so much !!! Also, why the queues of traffic waiting behind the trucks for the operation of delivery of ‘wide loads’.
Thanks Ivan and Ginny the camera lady, those guys definitely know what they're doing. It was very interesting to watch so thanks again. Take care and all the best. Stevie

Do folks move to other sites often? Was wondering on the average how long do they stay on a particular site?
They sounded like pikies! The whole operation looked very shoddy
Do you know why the guttering down pipes have been removed ?
No but will ask Thank you
Are you in Norfolk?
Hi Margaret no Lincolnshire
