Those who are complaining about the singing, it sounds like this is the end of a very long night - it's not easy to sing for a long time, especially at the intensity that Roger Daltrey does.
The late great Gary Moore so sadly missed I wish he was still us with and of course the great Roger Daltrey one of the greatest rock singers of all time R. I. P. GARY AND THANKS FOR EVERYTHING MY FRIEND.
great cause great gig! Gary Moore is not mentioned in your update. He was the best guitar player in my eyes. Roger is a great human being, always there to help a good cause. Thumbs up to you guys!
Roger's voice was a bit rough that night. But everyone was excellent and Gary Moore, man how he could play. So sad all our great musicians are leaving us. Gary and Greg are both gone, the rest are getting way up in age and pretty soon we will lose them too.
@@GerardooooooooTrue.. I forgot about that. I would expect to have my ass handed to me if I made that mistake over there. Just like the shit I give them when they refer to us Texans as yanks. lol. To them were all the same, so we give it back that way..
Sadly missed. If only the guitar world or should I say the music world?? realised what they'd lost... He was a gent and brilliant player. If not the best..
What an amazing song ... What a formidable musicians they are ... but it's a shame that Gary Moore did not play longer his fantastic “solo” (as always he does) ... Besides I think the tone of this song was a little too high for Roger Daltry (a couple tones lower would had been much better, in my modest opinion ... and also, a little more rehearsal, would get better coordination between all of them (… it seems to me). But anyway, it's always (...it was Gary...) a real pleasure to hear all these musicians playing together… BRAVO !!! I enjoyed it very much !!!!!!!!
I agree Gary Moore should have had more input but i love the that bit seems that they all just turned up and started playing i know they didn't but a nice thought
There was only 1000 DVD's made ,these were given to guests/ friends who attended that night. I have two but don't want to part with them as I worked on the show. Might be some on ebay?
Only read a few comments here and it proves a fair bit how people can be so wrong about music. For one , moans and criticism about Daltrey's voice , hey this is live not the fake shit we have been swallowing for years , mimed and voice corrected besides with age and length of career he's entitled. As for Gary ( Very sad loss ) he's always been one of my top guitarists although I prefer it when he doe's his slower stuff ( Still got the Blues .etc ). I don't like shreading , even kids can knock out 100's notes ( check out vids on here ) and that's not guitar playing in my book. Different players for different styles , up on my list is obviously Clapton , Invited to play alongside all the big names over decades such is his respect. I have to mention Jeff Beck here , probably the most unique guitarist we have been blessed with , that volume and whammy bar control was inhuman. There are others but I'll leave it there , the best is subjective.
