I wish I was able to see Mr. Moore live. I couldn’t imagine. Love and respect to the legends and the discussions between strings! True solidarity and solitude right there!!!❤
For me this is the definitive version of this song. The call and response of the guitars is exceptional, B.B's vocals are incredible and the backing track by the band is so tight
Gary greatly admired his friend Peter Green's playing & BB King said Peter was the only one who gave him the cold sweats & had the sweetest tone. I'd love to have seen the 3 of them playing together. Before LSD got him, Peter was in a league of his own, his voice was so soulful & imho one of the best blues British blues players, plus the man could write & compose some terrific stuff !

Peter Green knew his Guitar would be in good hands with Gary. Peter also knew Gary could coax out the tones the Guitar was capable of, with it's unique sounding Pick up's. Now Dave Mustane has it, it was owned by a collector briefly before Mr Mustane bought it for $2,000.000. It's in good hands with Mustane and although the music his band plays is not my cup of tea i know he's a Guitar geek so it will be treasured. By the time Gary Moore passed he had aready parted wih the Greeny/Moore but in my eyes had far surpassed most of his contemporaries in terms of skill. He was also left handed but played right handed. I'm a Southpaw, been playing 40 odd years and it's very hard to play right side over if your a lefty. He wasn't ambidextrous but was trained by his tutors to play right handed. That wouldn't be tolerated today. There's so much to Gary and his abilities as a player, he wasn't underated as people claim. Those who know better realize the guy was amongst the best that ever walked the planet. BB King needs little said about him (King by name King by nature). We are so lucky we can go back and watch these two messing around. The rebutling Guitars are just splendid. Both forever missed, both forever loved and remembered.
Dave Mustaine doesn't have it, Kirk Hammett does. And he does actually use it on tour, and in the studio. Most of the solos on Metallica's 2016 album were recorded with Greenie
