Graced once again by the mixing/mastering genius of Sascha Paeth and Miro Rodenberg, Seven Spires’ new album is “SOLVEIG”, a theatrical metal concept album in two acts. It is the story of a lost soul and his journey through a Demon’s sunless neo-victorian underworld. Despite small glimmers of hope, it is a grim tale with a heavy focus on escapism, death, and decadence. With distinct attention to melancholic power metal, melodic death, and black metal, Seven Spires fuse sounds from across the spectrum of metal with their great love for Romantic composers, and the atmospheric and storytelling capabilities of film scores.

you should check out her youtube, adruebbe cowan, she dosnt have a lot of videos on it, but she shows off her vocal capablitiies in a few songs, quite incredible.

The more I listen to this, the more that Solveig's story begs me to be told. Adrienne is a fantastic muse in several different departments.

so, one day, I was just looking for new music when Seven Spires popped up and I fell in love with you! then I saw you along with Jeff Williams and it was marvellous, I still get chills when I remember it. It's amazing seeing what this band has become. Fan For Life, Adrienne!

This was great. So fresh. Y'all win this round. That sort of old big-band/jazz style put into a totally badass and blackened metal style. A vocalist that can sing and scream and growl and do that sort of witch demon Dani Filth sound too, makes for huge versatility.
I hope this band can keep interesting and creative stuff like this going and they will do well.

I found this band on accident. I was scrolling through iTunes preorders to see if anyone I listened to was putting new material out, or just people I hadn’t heard from in forever. That being said, I have a tendency of randomly clicking on stuff, and I found Seven Spires. I don’t normally listen to melodic metal, but I’m really liking this. Makes me want to delve into the genre more.
Some people said me "you must check Adrienne Cowan, she is a great singer" and well... Here I am and the people is right!
This video is better than any horror movie I have ever seen. I have seen at least 50. This is very well appropriate for Halloween, which is my favorite season.
the dynamics of different sounds and different vocals really cool layers and her bandmate can play a stand up cello sounds like some cool bass lines when you need those kind of more authentic sounds and her vocals the fact that she can hold notes higher register and lower register that really cool rasp soo good

I just found this song and all I have to say is... God damn. Adrienne, now I see where in your power metal warm up thing, you talk about making the baby sound and then you show what you can do with it when you go into your full power voice. This song showcases that. So now, I can't get your power metal vocal warm up out of my head because I'm always going to have the dialogue that goes with it every time you execute powerful highs like that. Lol

Fantastic, not commuting to one sound. You hear far too many metal bands committing to one type of metal instead writing what feels right to them. This might not fight great into a concept album with “paradox” but they are both fantastic songs. I’m digging the songs, I’m digging the different feeling behind them. This is great stuff
