Ketamine, LSD, DMT and psilocybin containing mushroom are amazing. I could remember several years ago, I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Was actually addicted to cigarettes. Not until my mom recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.
Congrats on your recovery. Most persons never realizes psilocybin can be used as a miracle medication to save lives. Years back i wrote an entire essay about psychedelics. they saved you from death bud, lets be honest here.
Can you help me with the reliable source 🙏. I'm 56 and have suffered for years with addiction, anxiety and severe ptsd, I got my panic attacks under control myself years ago and they have come back with a vengeance, I'm constantly trying to take full breaths but can't get the full satisfying breath out, it's absolutely crippling me, i live in Germany. I don't know much about these mushrooms. Really need a reliable source!! Can't wait to get them.
Hey! Yes Dr.benshrooms.
I hate that psilocybin gets grouped with drugs like cocaine and heroin. Mushrooms are a remedy, not a vice! I went on a microdose treatment for a couple of months and within the first week, every sight of a cigarette got me questioning why I was doing all that to myself. It really works.

Sounds like Matthew was still self-medicating by taking higher doses of this drug than what his prescription called for. His doctor had just decreased the amount he was prescribed. It's not uncommon for addicts to trade one or two substances for another. It's sad because it sounds like he was clean from alcohol and opiate pills, even cigarettes, but hadn't completely become sober from all substances. Why are drugs like Ketamine even prescribed to the general public? It sounds like it should be used in hospitals only under close supervision!! 😢😮😮😮😞😞💔 R.I.P. Matthew 💕🙏

An addict is addicted to feeling high. The normal state of an addict is high. It’s abnormal for an addict to be clean and sober.
He will be missed. Big loss.
LMAO!!!! But there was a time in the person's childhood when he wasn't. Duh!!!

@@TTFFlash Nope, some of us never do drugs or alcohol, not even nicotine, some of us are healthy and don't get addicted to even prescription drugs because our minds are also healthy and are on top of things. Naw you got it wrong , addicts , every day ones , rarely feel high , just normal didn't you ever listen to or read his book ? He wasn't a party person he was reclusive in his addiction he hated it but you get to stage where the brain can't compensate or cope without medication and he passed that point and would have always been struggling with trying others drugs to cope with depression and anxiety and it's only about being high the first few times really , after that it's simply tolerance and the fear of sickness.
@ScrewyDriverTheMan you're one injury or surgery away from being addicted at any time in your life. Grow up. R.I.P., Matthew Perry.
This doctor didn’t really clarify anything for me I’m just left more confused
He was prescribed ketamine therapy, but as an addict, he took more than what he should have and it got out of hand.
Basically, he OD'ed on "K".
Wrong!
He drowned in his hot tub, the ketamine just facilitated that outcome. The doc in this interview is a jackass and the reporter with the blue tie is a moron
Matthew hated himself all throughout his life, but lived just long enough to realize there was nothing wrong with his younger self. Sadly by the time he realized, he had done some actual and real damage to his body inside and out, and it was too late. I think Perry anguished what he had become.
In my gut, I always felt it was suicide, which by drug overdose is very easy to cover up as being “accidental.” It was just something about his book tour and the way he spoke that gave the impression he was saying goodbye, even his last few social media posts seemed to be dropping clues.
That man had so much money, fame, friends, and could do anything his heart desired. Yet he was miserable, alone and an addict. He overdosed on drugs bottom line.
"Fate" played with his life
Is important to educate public what means to be sober.
The poor guy just lost to drug addiction pure and simple. RIP.
The feds damn well know the dangers of drugs & alcohol.
So much so, they will do anything, including legalization, to get their "enemies" (no matter what age) hooked on them.
Matthew like every other drug user and drunk, CHOSE to throw his life away because he felt sorry for himself
If anybody had a drug history, they shouldn't be prescribed such a drug, which is dangerous!

Why is the information so confusing? He was taking several medications that cause sedation. He was in a hot tug, fell asleep and drowned. It's not hard to understand.
I could be completely off-base, since I'm no doctor but I think these reports on Perry are missing something important. My guess is that Ketamine dulled his physiological response to hyperthermia, which is what ultimately lead him to lose consciousness and drown. Contrary opinions welcome, especially from the docs.
I'm no doctor but he was trip'n hard.

Hypothermia in a hot tub?!
@@melissastein2091 HYPERthermia.....
The level of ketamine found in his system was well into the anesthetic level according to autopsy. So he drown while knocked out by the ketamine he ingested after pickle ball and before the hot tub. Extremely sad and yes too much money and access.
I guess you can stop talking about how open he was and what an open book he was about his sobriety since he had a very high self administrated dosage in his system, ..not drug free😢😢😢😢😢😢
giving drugs to former addicts doesn't cure them of their drug use? OMG!...who could have seen this coming?
I take ketamine and its is true it does doze you off. And he was an addict he shouldn't had ketamine prescribed to him. Smh.
Still makes no sense how he had "died from ketamine" a week and a half after taking IV ketamine.
He drowned, that's how he died. Ketamine just helped in that outcome. It is ingenuous for the reporter to imply that the ketamine killed him, the ketamine facilitated his death but it was the water in the hot tub that killed him
Ketamine is prescribed in low doses has helped many in their adfictiok recovery. It would seem tat he took a high dose.
I’m a retired nurse,i worked on a surgical /oncology unit ,when we sent our patients to the o.r ,our anesthesiologists would call the procedure “ gorking “ even before this doc mentioned prpifol I immediately thought of Michael Jackson ,it’s such a tragic loss for anyone who’s had an addiction to loose their life to something like this ,although it does sound like it wasn’t the main source of Perry’s demise .
Pero viene a ser lo mismo. Perry estaba asustado porque queria hacer nuevos proyectos y tenia miedo . Por esto otra vez la depresion y a medicarse bastante.
You need to put 2 and 2 together. What the report tells me when it states the cause of death as "acute affects of anesthetic ketamine" and "drowning" is that he took some ketamine shortly before, he fell unconscious from the drug, and then he died drowned while he was unconscious from the ketamine slipping under the waterline. It's a very simple cause and effect on how he died.
@@rodneyboehner3007 He also took Buprenorphine with it which would cause his respiratory system to slow down even more. Buprenorphine is okay when taken alone but dangerous when mixed with other drugs.
This guy isn't saying anything....bunch of word salad leaving me more confused...
He is saying that the prescribed infusion of ketamine that was administered to Perry a week earlier would not have contributed to his death. He is suggesting that Perry had access to other forms of ketamine, such as nasal sprays, which were probably used in excessive quantities and did result in death.

I don't think it was suicide. I think, unfortunately, he relapsed n who knows how long it was going on. Dose found in his body was not from one of his infusions. He'd gotten it somewhere else n was self medicating. Huge loss. An enormous back slide cost him his life.
An addict in recovery is not allowed to hide Secrets or have secrets because that's another way to relapse or end up the way he did. Just facts.
I knew it was some sort of substance. He was a VERY RICH MAN, he could have that delivered to him. He properly though it was so high class of him to be on a mental medicine therapy but he took it has a way to space out.
Rip Matthew Perry. May you have found peace in your next adventure away from earth.
Wasn't he on Buprenorphine as well? I take Buprenorphine for opioid addiction and it's a strong medication. It's generally fine alone but it can be dangerous when you combine it with other medications.

I feel bad for Matthew Perry, depression is something we can not see because it can be masked easily. If ketamine is used for depression and he used it as prescribed with nothing else, let him be. This person turned out to be an absolute psychopath so police did a hair sample and ketamine was found with Christmas Day being within the window of it being had…
@lisasheridan9682 so terrifying... so, YOU could have DIED?! (this makes it sound more like a "murder" case scenario to me!) 💔 😭 💔
So u put it In your food??
No, this had nothing at all to do with ketamine infusion therapy. High dose ketamine is never self administered, and never dosed without supervision.
Low dose ketamine can be used, but would not be used in concert with high dose therapy in a clinical setting. No responsible physician would prescribe ketamine to a patient with a history of drug abuse and addiction. They would instead administer it in office in a session; or prescribe low dose in small quantities.
Ketamine is readily available on the street. This is likely where it was sourced. It is most likely that he was "self medicating".
A dose large enough to cause a man this large to pass out and drown would previously cause him to lose bowel control. This drug is a heavy duty veterinarian tranquilizer used for large animals. It has other uses, but the tranquilizing and deep muscle relaxing effects cannot be averted with high dosage.
This makes sense….thanks for clarifying what happened because I got nothing from watching the video other than this drug was in his system.
I thought Ketamine was an animal tranquilizer, I remember that. He was also taking Buprenorphine which combined with Ketamine would really slow down your respiratory system. Buprenorphine has saved so many opioid addicts but you get in trouble when you mix it with other medications.
I don’t understand how you seem to know a lot , but you don’t seem to know that Ketamine is being used now as a trendy cure for depression and anxiety in people . It can be given in a medical office by IV but it’s also given in a form that can be ingested by putting it in your nose and unfortunately it can also legally be shipped to people in a multiple pill form for people to use in their own home . People who are given it in a pill form to use at home , are supposed to be supervised by someone but many people don’t bother and sadly there is no one to monitor how much they use . Ketamine is fairly easy to get unfortunately.
@@suzannek3493 Reread my OP in which I explicitly reference the clinical administration of ketamine infusion under supervision. Such sessions are typically undertaken on a weekly basis or less, and within the context of an ongoing schedule of therapy. The period between infusion sessions is critical for contextualizing and normalizing the bodily state which was chemically induced. Ketamine is to be pulsed. This drug is not to be taken on a continual basis. Doing so would not be therapeutic. It would be reckless. It would be drug abuse.
The purpose of ketamine therapy is to introduce the patient to a state of bodily peace, and to, for a time, quiet the destructive patterns of thought that plague them. Over time, the objective is for the patient to learn to invoke and hold that state of mind on their own, as a new normal.
There is no pharmaceutical "cure" for anxiety or depression. There are only therapies.
Again, no responsible healthcare practitioner would prescribe ketamine for self administration in any significant quantity to a recovering drug addict. To do so would be to risk delicensure.
Ketamine is not particularly suited to the treatment of anxiety. Microdosed psylocybin is a far more efficacious and safer substance for that application.
Ketamine is used, among other things, for the treatment of depression. Again, I know of no protocol that admixes and matches IV infusion in a clinical setting with self administration at home. Do you?
Helping professionals who use ketamine and/or psylocybin as therapeutics are very well aware of the risks and consequences of being too aggressive with them.
Yes, I know that ketamine is readily available as a street drug. This has been the case for at least 30 years. It is a party drug in some circles. It was quite the thing in the gay community at one point.
It is highly unlikely that the ketamine in Matt's body at the time of death was prescribed to him and acquired legally. Ketamine is a controlled substance. It cannot be acquired for human use legally without a prescription.
It is tragic that Matt apparently chose to self administer rather than to telephone his therapist or a narcanon sponsor. Practically anyone would have talked him out of getting into the hot tub. Tranquilizers and hot tubs are not a good combination.
Ketamine therapy is not "trendy". It is mostly used for patients who have failed to respond to the more commonly prescribed anti-depressant drugs (SSRI's). This is a vast and growing cohort of potential patients, and therapists are motivated to learn how to serve them.
He needed love which he never received 😢😢

He was loved by a lot of people including his friends and family. I don't think they would appreciate you saying he wasn't loved.
He received plenty of love but it was never enough for him. His problem was he needed to love himself which he seemed incapable of doing and blamed everyone else!
And he was "friends" with Aniston: the fakes woman ever. He needed a true friend. Where were LeBlanc and Schwimmer?
Maybe I´m not that smart a guy, but I still don´t get it. They said he got Ketamine infusions the last time about 1 ½ weeks before his death. They also said that this is normally out of the body very fast - probably within a max. of 1 day. This most likely means that he did not die of that infusion. Then they said that there is also Ketamine in nasal spray etc. So what did he die of - or don´t we know? Was he prescribed Ketamine in pill-form - and did he take too many of those? I mean, you will hardly overdose because of a nasal-spray, so there must have been a crucial factor that led to him overdosing - and if it wasn´t the infusion or the nasal spray then what killed him?
He probably done a huge line of Ketamine and laid his head under water in the pool and just held his breathe and called it a night.
Ketamine is so strong, honestly..
i read that ANYONE w/a drug problem should NOT take it............... they did him dirty to put him on that.

He admitted abusing the drug because of how it makes you feel. And for what levels was in his body says he would have had to take that much in the moment, which is why he sent his assistant away so he would not be seen using it, and his therapy level injections are nowhere near that plus his body would have gotten rid most of that within hours, so it makes no sense for his toxicology levels to be that high, he took some, again sent assistant away, its not hard to see the truth when you look past the star struck I'm in love with Hollywood people effect.

Ketamine in large quantities is hell on your kidneys and several other organs and is known to lead to organ failure when done recreationally for a long term. A friend of mine that I have known since middle school died from ketamine induced kidney failure this past summer. She was 37.
