This still works absolutely crazy, got shiny palkia & diagla a mew two the pikachu w fly and some others shits wild. Have had these cartridges since I was 12 it’s wild to see these bad boys on here in shiny form 😭
been doing this for the past day on a jp copy of white. i obtained shiny genesect, shiny rayquaza, shiny gyarados and a few otheres but i want the shiny giratina and dialga so bad
Still works as of 29/12/23. One thing to note is sometimes you will get an error code regarding the discontinuation of online services. Just keep retrying/reconnecting and should be good.
I keep getting error code 51099. Any tips?
@@Chrixemon iirc that error code is related to your wifi signal. Try to get a stronger signal/reset router
@@cal8916 I figured out that this heavily relies on a weaker WiFi signal, 2.4 Gigahertz I believe, which is why people are using their mobile hotspots on their Android devices. Too bad I use Apple.

this still works for all gen 4 games too. but you have to connect your 3ds with an open hotspot from your phone and than use the same primary dns settings in the game :)

@@skullo5557 i have checked some sites. Apple doesn’t allow to disable ur hotspot passwords. its only possible for andriod. im sorry maybe you can ask a friend.

Didn't work for me on Pearl, deleted the main wifi connection as well to make sure it was using my hotspot and went to mystery gift -> receive gift -> get via nintendo wfc, gives me "no compatible access point in range"

Did it on Pokémon black (legit) and reg 3Ds: got the mewto, victini, 2 pikachus, zeckrom, mewto, ludicolo, palkia, even got the liberty pass! So happy abt this

Works even now 3/2/2024 on my White 1 version. Took me a while to get them all due to duplicates. There’s a couple that are exclusive to B/W 2 as well. Thanks for sharing!

THANKS SO MUCH! I was trying to get a Zorua via poke transfer, but found out I couldn’t just transfer the suicoon from my digital version of crystal to get the zoroark in lostlorn forest, I was so bummed! But now, I just got a Zoroark as a mystery gift while typing this, so THANKS SO MUCH!!

This still works. Shoutout to you for posting. You can only receive 12 gifts though.
The 12 I received was a liberty pass, reshiram, smeargle, scrafty, an egg, shiny larvitar, victini, shiny palkia, speedy mewtwo, shiny giratina, ludicolo, and a pikachu with the move fly. If I miss out on any others let me know. The most recent DNS pinned worked for me.
you can go into your mystery gift album card and delete cards to get more event pokemon.

I am currently going through it and grabbing all the things, I will post my list on here when I get done with it. No idea how complete it will be but my criteria is going to be if I go 30 min without getting something new then I have exhausted it, lol. Currently I am at 22 things you can get and I only started this morning.

Going back to the old days so I picked up my 3DS XL and I’ve been invested into playing Pokémon Black, however trying to catch every Pokémon including Victini is kinda hard when old events don’t reoccur. I’ve tried following every step however once the DNS is put in, ir never passes a connection test. From there I can never manage to secure online access to the WFC server even tho I’m connected to wifi. Idk If maybe the DNS probably changed by now.
The dns did change. Check the pinned comment it works.
Meloetta is one of my favorite Pokémon, and right now there is no way for me to bring it up to Violet for me since go won’t let me transfer it over since Go won’t let me unless it is already registered, so this makes me so happy!

@@lixisaxis6888 my best guess is that it will because the DNS is being run by someone who isn’t affiliated with Nintendo, and the trick works on DS as well as 3DS

Bro how i got error message every time. Changed dns for my home wifi and my hotspot (with password and without password). I play pokemon white on my modded 3ds and it gets an error message every time.

EDIT: Nevermind just solved it myself.
@@Jhoniisjelly Had the same issue but I just solved it right now. Make sure on your ds that the only connection you have is the one provided in the video, delete any other ones and use your phone as a hotspot and make sure your phone is really close to your ds.
For some reason my phone didnt have to be as close when i used this hack for Soulsilver, for White 2 my phone was pretty much on top of my new 3ds xl. Hope this helps.

Wifi user information for your Nintendo DSi/3DS is treated as a set along with your save data. Thus you must use the same DSi/3DS under the same wifi to have these benefits. If you cross over to your home wifi, save data will be lost.
Is anyone else having trouble getting genesect and deoxys? I got every mystery gift except them, I've been retrying for hours and they just don't appear. frustrating bc I wanna get genesect in my game to complete the living pokedex
Edit: I am a huge idiot, right after posting this i found out they were bw2 exclusive and I was trying to get them on white, got it immediately when I tried on black 2... so much time wasted lol
I also searched for some of them for hours without getting them, but I definitely got Genesect and Deoxys on Black
@@TheEbrithil2 maybe it's bc my copy of white is old like from when it first came out I guess lol but I couldn't get them at all on there. I got them in the first 5 mins on black 2
@@tonkuriihq8133 mine should be just as old I guess. But yeah, some of the events just don't appear even after trying again and again, it's just not the same ones as for you. Statistically they should've appeared by now. Maybe some are rarer?

Today is a sad day. Because the DNS server to get the mystery gift no longer works. At least for me anyway, I don't know about anyone else though. I remembered this because I used this for Pokemon black last year and wanted to use this for my copy of Black 2. Sadly that shall not happen

Ok, the way i found it works on white is connecting to a hotspot without a password, use an android for that. And I changed the dns on both the system and nintendo wfc ingame. Just make sure you connect to the hotspot ingame as well. Just got reshiram
UPDATE! Tried this LAST DAY OF ESHOP MARCH 27 and it still works!!! Shiny Dialga acquired!

It does, but for Gen4 it requires a WEP encrypted WiFi

I tried both home internet and hotspot using the method in the video. The Nintendo WIFI Connection doesn't work for either connections. Error code: 20110
There's a new DNS code: 167.086.108.126
That one didn't work either.

Just did this on 4.08.23, it still works and I used a 3ds. You’ll have to mystery gift multiple times. Poke transfer worked with it too.

Actually I found a way easier way to get mystery gifts
Not too long ago something called PKSM and if you have a homebrew 3ds (which if you don’t then you really should) then you can get every event Pokémon in existence for your downloaded 3ds games and you game card DS games
@@brandonferrel7066check your Internet Settings, and do the Connection Test. If it works, go to the Pinned comment and use that DNS, because the DNS used on this Video is Outdated

Exploit works!
Step
1. Go to internet settings
2. Do everything in the video
3. Back out and go to Nintendo DS connections
4. Scroll down till you see auto DNS and turn it off
5. Put the same numbers you put shown in the video in that dns field.
The exploit should work now!

Does anybody know wether or not these pokemon would actually be considered legit? I know he said they are but I’m curious because though you’re getting them in official hardware, the pokemon receive date would be 2022 or later which pokemon home or bank could detect, and than when transfering to sword and shield would they work? In official tournaments?
They will work
Absolutely legit think of it as taking your ds back in time to when these gifts originally came out. These are the exact same Pokémon from those events
You could change the date back to the original received date and then receive the gift which will give it the legitimate date.
Update! Started working for me!
Gen 5 worked fine, with my house wifi. However, for Gen 4, I had to use my routers guest wifi connection with no password and it worked!
For me it gives an error that says "Nintendo wi-fi connection service for this software has been discontinued"

I haven't had the chance to go to a local retro game store and pick one up It's definitely one I want to play and have in the collection.
Sept. 30th 2022 still works, you have to disconnect all other internet connections and use Android hotspot only for it to work. Must be unlocked and use the delete button and reset the DNS codes placed on the video.

Followed everything, double checked it all, but it isn’t working. The 3DS establishes a connection to the server when I’m testing, but when I go to get the mystery gift, it errors out.
