Another video of a very long running Phantom understudy! Jeremy Stolle joined the ensemble of the Broadway production in October of 2007, playing Passarino. Additionally, he was cast as a Raoul and Phantom understudy! And I don't know if he was originally given this role to understudy, but at some point he became an understudy for Piangi, which he doesn't often go on for.
Stolle has an incredible, almost operatic voice and over his 15 years of understudying the Phantom developed a huge fanbase. He's also a genuinely hilarious and nice person!
We also have another Phantom long-timer, Kelly Jeanne Grant, understudying the role of Madame Giry! She played Christine on tour, joining in 2007 and staying with it until. 2010. She eventually joined the Broadway production in the ensemble, covering many ensemble roles and understudying Madame Giry, as we see here!

Hearing Jeremy Stolle hits really differently now that it's closing. It's been heartbreaking to watch him experience the show with that knowledge. Something like this is absolutely precious now. Thank you for sharing. 🥺
