Interesting insight. I can see why there are many who consider charismatic leadership potentially quite dangerous.
this guy was my prof :D
Advice for future videos, when someone shows slides, please film the slides, not his face !
If making others feeling good would all the charismatic leaders should have, then clowns should be those. True leaders allow their true Self to emerge, to be authentic, true, and allow others around them to be as it is. Others feel good not because the leader makes them laugh but because they subconsciously feel that they are accepted, even encouraged by themselves to be authentic self.
Dainius Macionis very true.
Was quiet interesting. I'm guilty of mindlessly following someone because I was awestruck. But now I'll take a moment, step back, and actually try to understand if this leaders's mission makes sense, or am I awestruck, and will he just drag me to the edge of the hill
And six months after that speech, Americans chose Trump - a lot of charisma and nothing more ... Jochen Menges - simply brilliant in this sort of "prediction".
The people chose him not because of his charisma but because he is promising a change from the globalist, multicultural paradise. You focus purely on the charisma of Barack Obama while overlooking how horrible his decision made the world. Anyone who supports Obama supports the thousands of children killed by drone strikes and the overthrowing of stable nations.
@@Fishdogpigsquirrel there's no president in the america history, who's not responsible for any kind of military strike. You argument is invalid.
Loved it! I truly admire this guy... legend.
how pathetic are you to call this ordinary guy with just a nice speech and maybe with some decent research background.....a legend. You must not know what a legend is or you don't have any legends around you so you are so thirsty to find legends to look up to
@@ilyasadam1 dude Mr. Menges is a Professor. maybe he was his student
5:09 & then after 5:11 made me laugh.
One more applause to the cameraman.
It reminds me of those the hustle 24/7 entrepreneur.

😂
All what I got is "Charismatic leaders speech has a bigger influence but put less knowledge in people's minds" So? what do you want? what's your point? how this can help if I'm an attendant or a leader?
Listen to what he says on the end. That answers your question :)
His last advice is useful.
Charisma not works every time, and depends on the target people intelligence as well
Me as an ENFJ I feel attacked... :D
He's tone of voice

@@mlnyonasi no, he is tone of voice
@@teob3777 what does that even mean?
I wonder if this guy remembered his speech 😂
Awestruck? ... @11:55
So much discomfort in that room.
They looked almost scared , imbued with a touching fragility .
that audience was tough
The germans speak the most beautiful english 😍

It awkward how no one laughed
He made an effort, but as someone who study charisma, he failed in conveying it

@@alexmunoz6682 thats the point. Can't you see it?
@@SinVerba no, obviously I can’t
