“the pain of my past does not determine the possibility of my future.” 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Great quote💪
Beautiful 🌟
So true
Heyy Awesome
✨✨✨✨✨
Ima get this tatted on me, cause I am more than self doubt and pain
“On the other side of self-doubt is the person you have been looking for your entire life”. So true.
❤️
This one was my favorite too 🥰

“True freedom comes when you no longer rely on achievements to help you fall in love with who you are right now”
good to stop worrying or caring how the outside world regards you and begin to pay attention to the one whose opinion matters most of all...your own...
❤
This is the key point not to let our achievements or failures define us and love ourselves 👌✌️
What a beautiful quote ❤
Powerful
- Self-doubt is a mental conversation in which your mind questions your ability to find a desired solution to a perceived problem
1. Share your self-doubt with the people you trust
2. Self-doubt is a call to love yourself
3. Love yourself regardless of your achievements
4. Forgive yourself for your past failures
who honestly cares what we do
Very hard to do it. I’m dealing with depression because of self-doubt.
Well recapped . Thank you ❣️
Thanks!
Thank you
"Let go of blaming yourself, give yourself permission to express a new level of confidence, passion, and commitment".💕
"Love yourself regardless of your achievement." We all needed to hear that! 👍
"surround yourself with people who build you up"
I think that was one of the best advices I'd ever received. Alternatively sadly, if you can't find those people, it's better to be alone than in the company of those who was to take a jab at you whenever possible because they have issues with themselves.
That’s the key
“Acting the way you did at the time is proof you could not have acted any differently” really hit home. I think a lot about coulda woulda shoulda scenarios and feel bad about them, but everyone, including myself, is just doing their best with the info and experiences they have to pull from at any given time.
"Everyone faces self-doubt, only those who are courageous enough to admit it will find the support, that allow them to move forward, while still facing self-doubt " 👏👏
Forgiveness of ourselves and others-for both things we did and didn't do-is one of the key gateways that leads to personal freedom.
sounds good how do you do that exactly
I had an interview at my dream job abroad, 30 minutes before the phone call started I began doubting myself: "What am I doing here interviewing for this job? I don't even have the skills to work there!" and with this mindset I went to the interview, already thinking very low of myself and it showed and affected my whole performance. I didn't get the job and regret it to date! Great talk, thank you! :)
What is self doubt?
The pain of my past does not determine the possibility of my future. Touching my heart so deeply
When i am lonely I actually find my true power. The things I really need to do
I needed this video in my life right now. I’ve been so lost and confused trying to be an overachiever, but I didn’t realize I was losing sight of who I am. I have been trying to perform for everyone else and forgot about myself in the process.
This is so relatable! I have experienced a similar journey of self doubt and still do. This video gives so much of clarity of how to deal with it correctly without sabotaging my self worth! Thank you Mario, this is exactly what i wanted to hear!
One of the best ted talks I've watched. I really loved it! Thank you for sharing all this keys for personal growth.
Thank you for such a clear message about an important subject. We all need to hear this. You have helped me and I'm sure many others.
Great conversation. I have suffered from self-doubt for years, but with high aspirations. I had to get out of cult and leave all my family. I had did it and it was the best decision ever made. I did travel around the world and studies college, lived in a few countries, but leaving my family was my big crutch. I also suffered from depression before that. Today, I miss my family, but I don’t have this huge depressions anymore. I have a great husband and son.
Your paragraph was interesting to read. I hope you write a book about your life. Thank you for sharing your message of courage. 🏅
wow, similar life story to mine
Wow I also left my family. It was largely because of them that I doubted myself. They never believe in what I do. Leaving them was my last resort and it was a form of self preservation. I think this is what the speaker Mario said, we need to love ourselves and this is us giving ourselves a chance for success. Sending love.
was it jehovah witnesses?
Can I have your mail id ? I need some advises from you pls
We are in similar line
Stop doubting yourself and go after what you really, really want.
The nex time self-doubt comes, dont fight it.
Embrace it as a friend to remind you to fill your self-love tank.
Not knowing how to deal with your self-doubts --- delay your dreams.
how do you still have wants? What on earth do you mean?
This is a great talk! While I am fortunate enough to generally look at my negative internal dialogue as merely signals of how I need to account for possible roadblocks & succeed nonetheless, it took me much longer to develop this relationship to similar comments I get from others. There are particular people in my life that, while I love them, I used to get very frustrated & discouraged by their comments on my life path. Once I learned to simply thank them for pointing out the things I needed to account for in order to persist & succeed, it changed my relationship to them completely. Thanks for giving this talk, it’s inspiring for sure!
I have listened to this video over 7 times, and pull new distinctions from it each time. So clear, concise, and packed with wisdom that we can all apply immediately to our own lives. Well done, Mario! Thank you!
I really like the way he delivered his speech , verbally and non verbaly because its kinda like something you wanna need to hear for your entire life. I was kinda amazed how he expressed in the best way. You really can understand truly.
Thank you Mario. Self doubt can be very crippling and keep you stuck not doing anything for years in depression. You worded and explained everything perfectly. Love ourselves, love our self doubts, forgive and grow🙏🏾
Ooohhhh this hits the spot. It’s the story of my life. Wish I had heard this talk years ago but I’m grateful for it now. Thank you so much for sharing your story. You have no idea how this impacts me. Now I can accept my self doubt and love myself.
This speech is relating to my current situation. I stack at a point of learning where I am thinking that I am too weak to perform that work. But not now. I have to overcome my all self-doubts. Learning may take time but you can learn if you will be consistent. So from now own I have decided to not quit at any cost. I am forgiving myself for the mistakes which I have done before.
Relate much to this, been into similar situation as well. I thank all the people and myself for not giving up into pursuing my aviation career now. Fear and Doubts are always part of the process. Courage does not mean that you will never feel such of those, but rather it is define by your ability to face fear and doubt even if it trembles you.
Mario lanzarotti and supermario..they both taught me , don't doubt yourself, keep trying until you reach the next level..
Such an inspiring speech! Thank you Mario, for showing the positive side of self doubt, loved it
A LOT of key points for healthy and positive state of mind. Thanks Mario , I really felt everything you were talking about.
Wow this video came out at such a perfect time. Needed to hear this I’ve been stuck in a crossroads of what I should do this gave me clarity
This talk resonated with me on many levels. Ambitions with shallow or false motivations. Keeping oneself "busy" with so many distractions. Admitting one's mistakes or missteps in the context of knowing that you did the best you could at that moment. Learning from one's past missteps. Lots of great content. Very inspiring to me. Thank you, Mario!
I found him incredible, and he gave us a lot of proof that self-doubt is a good way, and if we understand how we can controll it ,we win the war
In striving to achieve desired goals what we really want are the positive emotions those goals promise. Ultimate truth!
Great talk Mario Lanzarotti! Couldn’t have come at a better time for me. Thank you indeed!
Really sweet knowledgeable man. He clearly had done the hard work on himself. Bravo to him, i'm so inspired
Love this, and needed this! Thank you so much for sharing this valuable message!
One of the most inspirational and motivational TED talks ever!!! Thank you!
I wished I watched this sooner before but then I realized that if I didn't experience self-doubt before I wouldn't have gone through this video. Thanks for giving us this talk, now I can see my past as a lesson and not a failures I made of my younger self.
This is the best Tedx talk ever! Truly motivated and relaxed by this man. 💙
What a power message. Thank you very much for sharing it with us. Many blessings
Great message. I totally agree. There was a time when I treated my self doubt as the enemy and was basically at war with myself which means I was pretty hard on myself. Now I see fear and self doubt as my allies....and I love myself a whole lot more. Thanks for the great talk.
This feels personal, at my 26 I'm finally understanding this. Thank u. Everyone can do it.
“True freedom comes when you no longer rely on achievements to help you fall in love with who you are right now” Mario Lanzarotti.

Thankyou so much.. This is the best Ted talk I've ever seen.. I've gone through many videos on self doubt, but here I get the answer..
One of my dreams, is to stand in that stage and share also a motivational speech someday
The message of that speech is really an enlightenment
This is easily my favorite talk here! Love this.
I always doubt myself. I used to think that I am the only one who does it but after watching this video I can say it is good to doubt sometimes and when we doubt ourselves that incline our abilities because we try to figure out the confusion which has built in our mind.
Wonderful inspirational speech. Never thought of self-doubt reminding us to self-love, yet it makes total sense. Self doubt brought me here, and now I am so grateful for it!
*Jesus Christ Is Lord & He’s coming soon. Don’t take that vaccine* ‼️💉
Powerful speech on how self doubt is one of the best things EVER! I took notes and accept the challenge by the way: I will forgive myself for all wrong and let go of blaming myself. Give myself permission to express a new level of confidence, passion, and commitment.
Thank you Mario. From my heart to yours
this is so timely for me. i've learned a lot from this talk. thank you so much! i'll surely apply it to my life.
Thank you. Your Ted Talk made my day. I truly appreciate it.
Self doubt creates the hesitation and hold you back from right decision. However, we're living in the world of spreading the self doubt, some people always makes this to us and this is why we have to avoid these toxics. Furthermore, we all must have self-esteem to lower our self doubt. Thanks for the speech.
Self love is key. Thank you for sharing
Thank you sir for sharing your words.
Thank you for uploading this. I really love the phrase "everyone faces self doubt, only those who are courageous enough to admit it will find the support that allows him to move forward"
This speech was wholesome.I Love it
я сейчас сидела и рыдала от безысходности , думая что не справлюсь, что не оправдаю ожидания родителей и себя. но теперь я продолжу трудиться и не буду сомневаться, спасибо вам 🤍 вы сделали большой вклад в моё будущее

Beautiful. This is everything I needed to hear, and I truly want to start implementing this. I know that it is going to be a long, bumpy ride, but one that will be worth it. Thank you for this Ted Talk.
Love the message! Truly eye opening on all levels.
One of the best speaker that I've seen and heard in TED.
Thanks a million for the statement " The Pain of the past must not determine the possibility of your future"... Getting back the lost enthusiasm and motivation.. God bless you.
When you can love the person in the mirror regardless of your achievements ,you become truly unstoppable.
Oh my god, this video is exaaactly what I need now! Amazing speech, thank you million times!!!
that was really awesome. and btw for me as for a non-native speaker the way how the narrator speaked was a huge pleasure. so clear and straight. really impressive
My takeaways-
In striving to achieve desired goals, what you really really want are the positive emotions those goals promise.
True freedom comes when you no longer rely on your achievements to fall in love with who you are right now.
yeah pretty much, it's all just narrative.
So helpful,
Self doubt is our friend
Whenever we feel the doubt, let's assure ourselves to work more and become even better
So precise and profound. Our limitations are mostly ours ,that’s the nature of self doubt.
i watched different types of self development videos .all have one thing in common that is LOVE OURSELVES .
Thank you Mario. This Ted was really thought-provoking.
This helped me so much in the moment im going through. 🙏🏼
I can so relate to what he said. Thank you!
Totally unique talk on the process of going after your big dreams and goals.
It just totally changed my way to look towards my self doubts and teached me how to use self doubts to improve myself, to achieve goals with greater vision.. thankyou so much 😊🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

"No one in my family has ever done such a thing" hit me so hard.

Can anybody watch this without crying and wanting to hug this guy???

Thanks mario,. I recently just got turned down from a job offer which I worked hard for.
I have been questioning myself and my future so much I kept asking myself " can I make it in the future?".
I guess it's time to treat myself better and stop blaming myself that I didn't do better. In fact, I already did, and it's the best of what I could do at that time. We can grow, but everyone starts from somewhere including myself.
The fact that I gave myself the chance to be in the interview and apply for the job speaks volumes of my effort. That I should be proud of, better than not doing anything or giving myself a fighting chance. Better luck next time:)
Omg!! What a talk🙏🏻 came in a proper time ♥️
One of the Best Ted talk I've ever heard❤
What an inspiring speech! Thanks for sharing.
It's a new way of thinking for me, in which self-doubt reminds of self-love. Turning past failures to a bunch of gaining-experiences-things relieves me. I know the past and all things I have done and haven't done should be thinking as in the way you told us before watching this, but self-doubt still keeps me up at night and gives me the anxiety without myself ever relizing it's happening. While struggling and scrolling youtube for distracting, I found this video.
Thanks for you, now I would say that I would love to be in a relationship with self-doubt =))
Best speech ever on TED. Really loved it and learned a lot of things. Thanks Man! 😄
What a wonderful talk. Thank you so much
Thank you for the motivational speech. It's help me a lot to understand within my self. I am afraid of the failure I made in the past and I can't be courageous to overcome it. I can't stop doubting my self. What if I can't have a good performance in the new job? What if I can't fit to a new environment?
Now, I take a deep breath and think back the keys to face with my self-doubt, it is not horrible like I thought. I truly appreciate your speech, this helps me can love my self again and go on.
what an honor to hear this message!
Such a powerful and beautiful message
One of the best Ted talks I have ever seen
Thankss, this really made me realize a lot of things ♥️
Amazing talk. Love yourself regardless of achievements.
