Mary 🇦🇺🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️ omg wish I was there , walked along there many times in 2019 when we were there, thanks for the memories, hopefully 🙏🏻 we will again 🥰🥰🇲🇹🥰🥰🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️👍👍👍
😊It's a lovely walk from Qawra to Bugibba and very pleasant to continue on up to Sat Paul's and even on to Xemxija if you have time and energy. Thanks for sharing Steve and yes, I remember the little corner swimming pool at the Flora.
Hey Steve, I’ve walked that walk many times over the years. Lots of happy memories 🥰 I love taking Phoebe up to the play area by the Aquarium. That ‘little track’ that you asked what was it is actually a row of water fountains. Phoebe loves running through them in the summer! ☀️💦 First hotel you walked past on the way into Bugibba was The Dolmen. Lovely hotel. Then the next one is the San Antonio. We’re staying here again in July. Give me a shout if you’ve not managed to get in before then. Think this will be our 6th time staying here. Can’t believe how fast those apartments have shot up down by the square 😱 I remember watching them install that crane outside the old HSBC 🏗 Lovely to see Bugibba Steve. Enjoyed this one very much 👍🏼
Wow a guy with his shirt off in the cold! Wow the ATMs, good tip to stay away from those. Just like the ATMs in the casinos in my city las vegas. "just give me the best donut" that's how to roll buddy! Success!
Great walk Steve walked round there so many times and hopefully after a long wait we will be walking round there in 10 weeks. I remember the outdoor pool years ago. Great place the donut factory we also like the donut vans that drive around ooh we love a donut. Cheers Steve for another great video 👍
We lived literally where you started your video (for 3years) and there was nothing better than to wake up each morning ,open our curtains and see that beautiful deep blue sea and to be able to count the boats bobbing about on the waves ...during every season. It was amazing.
Good to see this on video. Have walked this many times. I remember the pool at the Flora , we could look down on it from our flat ha ha. And before the pool it used to be a dining area and bbq',s , in the old days you must have been working there when we visited, the good old days Steve, We have not tried the doughnuts yet, it looked yummy. Thanks Steve 👍🇲🇹😋
Lovely memorable walk thanks Steve. Now I know where the donut factory is there won't be anyone stopping,.me. I've shared your videos on fb. You made me laugh when you said it's a cold 14 degrees coz that's our summer temps mostly lol. Donut looked good. Hopefully we will visit in December to the Qawra Palace so you can visit there. Xxx
Thankyou again Steve enjoyed your walk to Buddigba its so beautiful is that donut shop new it looked yummy thanks enjoyed your video Sandra from Australia 🇦🇺
Totally enjoyed this video, brought a lot of very happy memories! Hopefully we'll be back one day!! Thanks, keep the videos coming ! B.T.W. The donuts looked delicious!
While in Bugibba, try to check out the Classic Car Museum if you are interested in anything British motoring. We are members of the Northern Colorado British Car club and had a very enjoyable morning after a full British breakfast.
What a beautiful day We have had chilly winds here and lots of rain too The blossom still hasnt come, should have been weeks ago Oh yes donoughts yummy Boston cream🤗👍💕
Enjoyed the video Steve I walked the opposite way starting from the Gilliru Hotel all the way round in a circle finishing back where I started from.I took in quite a lot of watering holes along the way, there is a lovely park not far from the Bella Vista Hotel can't wait to get back.Take care Steve. 😊👍
Great job Steve . All that walking must keep you very fit.🚶♂️. Bugiba is really nice and a tourist hotspot. You don’t hear much Maltese spoken in that area .
SPRING HAS SPRUNG. THAT'S LOVELY INVIGORATING SCENIC COASTAL WALK STEVE🚶🌊 🌿 🏢 🍃 ☀ 😋 🎥. Now I know where the National Aquarium is situated - thanks😉. That will be one of my first walks when I return - lot of memories. It's unrecognisable now 🏢. Also, my dear late Dad was the inaugural deputy chef @ "Dolmen Hotel 🏩" - it has a Neolithic Temple in it's garden! 😲. BTW, we're better, "beer bottles" also grow in car parks & at most traffic lights/islands here 🇦🇺 as well 😂. I say you deserved that Boston Cream donut 🎂 😋. . THANKS STEVE 👏 👏 👏. Cheers 👍 🇲🇹 ♥ 🇪🇺 ♥ 🇺🇦
😀 hi Steve, thanks 👌 Nice walk on🚶♂️ the promenade, I have visited Bugibba beach in my holiday😎 ,where I rented a beach-bed ,🏖because there is no sand 🤗,anyway I got good sun🌞 ..delicious donut.💃..yeahhhh😆My kitchen is finally installed in my Xlendi apartment /🙏so now it's moving forward..from Copenhagen DK 🇩🇰
Just watched your wander from breakfast at the bell pub to bugiba yet again steve. So hope everything goes well with your leg and all that. So hope you keep giving us your vids, stick at it mate. Ill be over in bugibba in mid September for 11 nights, cant wait to see the place again, take care my friend 😊
@@EnglishmaninMalta hey Steve, staying at the primera hotel, you mentioned it in your donut walk. Normally at the Canifor or Qwara palace but they were fully booked. Be nice for a change tho, best wishes 🙋♂️
Hi Steve, it's been a while since I have been on love that area always stay there stayed in the San Antonio hotel in September it's a gorgeous hotel when we were over we went to the 🍩 factory & chocolate 🍫 factory when we were there they we amazing 😋😋 missing Malta 🇲🇹 can't wait to come back over its freezing cold here in Scotland🥶💜x
the best donut i had in malta was at the 8 ball internet cafe ,along with the best english cup of tea as well ,,and just down the road a little past bugibba hotel is a patisserie that sells the most amazing apple pies ,and also chicken and mushroom pasties ,,
I love that walk and have been many times. In fact, I was walking there last Friday, 16 September and it was 31 degrees. I would love to see footage of the area from the past to see what it looked like throughout the decades. They are doing a major upgrade to the Seashells Hotel and they demolished all of the buildings on the seafront side. The Cheeky Monkey gastro pub has moved to where Quattro Fratelli was. Thanks really like your videos.
Love that walk, we'd do that every holiday, usually right round to the Bocci club for lunch and a drink. Seem to remember there's a nice cafe at the end not far from the aquarium that served the pasta pie who's name I can't recall. We went to Malta in a February about 10 years ago and it was 12 degrees so I bought a hoodie in a market near Valetta which strangely I'm wearing now.
@@rachel7565 Thanks. We stayed in the Bella Vista and used to walk around the point from there. The café was on the same side as the Qawra Palace but about 200 metres on near the sea.
Walked the promenade loads last week. Was breezy a bit chilly but ok with a jacket. Michele’s cafe opposite bugibba bus station the most delicious cakes and coffee they do breakfast and savoury only tried small pizza. As a solo traveler I don’t go to pubs a cafe/bar seems less uneasy.
The cafe bar garden where you dodged the music I can recommend I had croissant and coffee and Sofra kebab you walked by lamb kebab meat with 3 choice of salads in a wrap with can cisk very friendly.
Thanks for the nature walk, nice to get away from the rat race from time to time,it’s been windy in UK too just lately, you’ve had a few jobs in Malta then, Jack of all trades Steve, donut looked tasty, cup of tea to wash it down. @27.31 yea remember that I was there in the 90s still has the shape of the buggiba I remember memories!! Is there still a corner shop just around the corner?
Hey Steve can you do a video like this but about Mellieha like walking around and seeing the nature there and also looking at the new building in that place
Rather nice kiosk called Harmonies on that walk. Open 24hrs in summer time. Great to watch the sun come up. The only thing about that walk is the dogs poo. Can get a bit much peak season. Also that Aquarium. Took nearly two years to build. Think it's about €13 to get in. Not worth it in my opinion. Anyone else think that this fella bares the uncanny resemblance to that other great traveller on RUclips Noel Phillips?
Love this walk. I felt I was walking with you Steve. I adore here. Thank you so very much. Well done Indeed❤️❤️
