Oh how things have changed since my husband and I were last in Bugibba. We used to go every year and have a good night out with our Maltese friends who had a holiday house at St. Paul`s Bay, 2 doors away from Angelo`s Bar. Such happy memories. Thank you Steve.
Thanks Steve yet again you took us all with you on lovely walk to Buggiba. You put a smile on my face for sure. I'm so glad that life in Malta is getting back to a new normal. Hello Steve- just want to say ‘Thank You‘ as I really enjoy all of your Malta videos! Been watching for ages but now subscribed. Always very interesting with eclectic style and great sense of humour. You are doing a great job, and I feel like I’m there with you. Keep going 👍🏼😊
Lovely video of Buggiba it's so beautiful we stayed there last time loved it everything is all there lots of restaurants and things to do really enjoyed it thanks again for showing us around keep cool Sandra from Melbourne
Loved your video of Buggiba Steve. Been to The Dolman a few times, they used to do A Country and Western evening once a week and my Maltese Brother in Law was a great fan so he used to take us along.
Hi Steve. I enjoyed this video as I enjoy all your videos. The dodgem cars. Isn’t that where the bus drivers get their licence from?🤣🤣🤣 Thanks Steve ❤️❤️❤️🥰
Hi,Steve, carry on down tourist street towards car museum. You will find best fish and chips at Simply British, cooked by Kai a chef of many years in Britain, add battered king prawn for a starter superb. Take it from me i used to fish for cod on UK coast iv,e had a few chippy teas in my time, great homemade batter to boot not frozen pkt rubbish yum yum yum, great vid as allways keep up the good work.
Hi Steve, my wife and I were last in Qawra 4 years ago and walked along from the Qawra Palace Hotel into Bugibba Square several times and I must say that we thoroughly enjoyed our walks and our time in Malta. It is hopefully our intention to come back later this year depending on how Covid has improved and if Mr Putin has taken the world to war, if we do come perhaps we could meet for a beer, regards Colin
Great video again Steve , you could feel the HEAT radiating through the pc monitor here . Lovely walk along there , many many times we also have done it . Its so sad to see it so empty , but fingers crossed the GOOD TIMES WILL START ROLLING AGAIN MATE. The ice cream WOW , I think us all watching would wish it was TASTEAVISION LOL
Hi Steve great entertaining video mate.We always holiday in Buggiba love the area I've noticed a few changes on the beach front looks nice though. Some really good memories there me and the wife loved watching this getting us excited for coming back .The Bayside is nice for a cold beer just sitting chilling looking over the Mediterranean. And George's on the front next to bognor is good for food.Cheers steve well done keep up the good video's mate. 👍👍😁🍺
Hi Steve, extreme walk in the sun 😍 I don't know how you can walk past all that cool refreshing water and not dive in for a swim 🥵 I think I could have spend most of the day trying out all the flavours of Ice cream that vendor had on offer 🤤 cheers 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Good food at the Bocci Club. We had a bad experence with a fish meal like yours at Marsalforn. If could name the place I would. People will vote with their feet.
Love that walk, we used to do that walk a few times each visit and then finish in the Bocci Club for a really cheap beer, used to be €1 for an Efes and the food was really nice and reasonable too. Another place I'd recommend, hopefully still going is The Peppermill on Mosta Road, I think it's part of St Paul's. Used to be run by a lovely Brazilian family, the food was lovely. Even if you weren't eating, they'd be passing little Brazilian snacks over for free. The Peppermill is one place I'll be going when we return.
Great video Steve, brought back many memories of my walks along that area and had a few nice ice creams at Marco's place, it looks to have extended a bit. Thanks again for the trip and lovely reminder of the beautiful island that is Malta, hope to visit again from Cyprus soon.
Steve I’m really enjoying your videos. They’re great and informative. I’ve been looking at videos as to where to go and we decided Qawra . I can’t wait to try that chocolate orange ice cream next week ☺️
Lovely walk along Bugibba waterfront, I recently explored Fort Campbell over near St Paul's Island so it was good to see the town from another perspective. Hopefully you make it over to the island, I was thinking the same thing when I was there - would be amazing to get over there! Always good to end a walk with ice cream, especially in that heat. Nice video!
I agree with you Steve when people call Malta a concrete jungle! Malta is advancing and glad to see them building! Just don't like the ones that are building that should never get permits for what they are building! Viva Malta!
I went there in 1986 when I was 15. I Iiked it then, but would never go there in a million years now. I remember all the pirated music cassettes on sale blatantly everywhere.
Wow Steve , that brought the memories flooding back , even a brief shot of the last place I stayed in . My favourite watering hole used to be Anjelos , right next door to the dodgems , after a few Cisks you didn`t notice the din , and always took time out to watch the Bocci on the way home . Watch out for the `brain freeze` Steve , it can become addictive .
Thanks for a great video Steve, really enjoyed your walk, we've done it many times, it looks like there's been a lot of changes on the front & sad to see it so quiet 😎
Hi Steve. You can get a boat from Buggiba to St Paul's Island, we've done that before. I'm surprised you had a bad meal at Knickerbocker. Everytime we've been we've had lovely meals, especially the breakfast. A friend of ours owns the Bocchi club, I love watching them play there having a cold Cisk. Loved the video, done that walk many times xxxx
Thanks Steve for a lovely video about Bugibba, I have walked that promenade many times in the last 35 years! I remember in the good old days, there was a Scottish Bar (the Tartan Bar?) that served Tea made with mineral water (to avoid the badly desalinated maltese water of the 1980s). You walked past my favourite restaurant at Bognor - Rudi's Schnitzel Paradies, a great place with friendly proprietors (Rudi & Tanja), great food, and great prices. Try it some time!
28:16 another very good gelateria amongst the top in Malta, which is also located in Bugibba is Sottozero. Marco's and Sottozero both offer very good ice cream, but personally I think sottozero's is a bit better :) 28:33 that ferry I think goes to Comino :)
What's the story with your wonderful accent . I'm picking up Brummie and then I don't know what? Is it the Maltese coming through? 😃❤. Lovely video, by the way.👍😃
I'll save you some money Steve,Don't have a breakfast at the Bayside, and how they have the cheek to call it English,Serve that over in the UK and you would soon go out of business.Marco Tanti Lovely ice cream.
at 9:51 (the orange umbrella area) that is part of the "Nine Lives" establishment area (separate from Dolmen). It's basically like a disco with sofas and chairs and tables in the evening & night times. Thanks for showing Malta, also very informative and entertaining, even though i'm Maltese :) Keep up the great content :) [+1 subscriber to you :D] (I also upload content but from my end, it's gaming related hehe)
