this takes me back to when I used to have a CRT TV good times they used to have analog TV airing and what RIP analog TV ??? - 2014 man Analog TV I stuck to it cause the signals were actually more likely to work than digital TV. strangely it worked better
this converter works well with my ps4 and older tv thanks get it from radioshack but when I first started setup of my ps4 the screen on my tv jump in and out of focus but once I got the system setup I haven't had any problems

Do you have to change settings on your ps4 first I bought a converter similar and it wouldn't show up on my tv screen everything was done correctly just curious if you need to change ps4 setting with an hdmi tv 1st?

+Shaf Hoque if it's an older TV it probably doesn't have 1080p.my TV is the same way it is a Toshiba DLP TV. your are going to have to plug into another TV and lower the quality down to 720P and it should work

But i think the first step is disabling the hdcp option from the settings on your ps4 while using an hdmi enabled tv. and then you can turn off the ps4 and move it to the older tv and hook it up with this converter.
+Ahmad Alshihabi it works with HDCP considering theres no hardware for the device it cannot tell if HDCP is going into it or not and since AV doesn't have a AV copy protection, this will allow you to put anything onto a Analog TV

Alex Kub HD CP, or High Defination Copy Protection is something designed to prevent you from recording the HDMI or sometimes converting HDMI to something, though not all converters are affected by HDCP in fact most ignore HDCP

That's because you don't need a HDMI connection for PS3! PS4 doesn't accept av cables. My PS3 looks fantastic on my widescreen tube tv. Better than any lcd screen I've seen.
the yellow is video, the white is a mono audio cable (usually red and white for stereo), so you can just leave the red unplugged. The white will usually split the mono audio into the left and right speakers (if you have them).

different countries call them different things. In Australia we call them AV, not RCA or composite! Gets confusing.

Can't help you with that , your tv is supposed to have a channel for it . It shouldn't be giving you problems

Instead of connecting my PS3 with the scart i connect it using an AV cable that connects my PS3 to stereo and TV.
