That solo was conjured up by forces inconceivable for the human mind to understand
THE GOAT
This entire album is a belter. Taylor was on fire!
in my opinion, Bruselles is the best Stones album
Listen to that bass. You are a monster Bill!
This is another example of Mick's excellent lyric writing ability. This is a well written song.
Yes, not said enough.
Mick's vocals are truly inspired on this one. Magnifique!
Keef’s riff is just FILTHY here 🤤-AWESOME f-kin’ tune! 🤟🏻💃🏻☠️💋
Started this Dance in 73, still dancing. Still Free.
They present Heartbreaker and Dancing with Mr. D at Brussell to the public as new ones, amazing.
Let's take time to acknowledge Mick Taylor laid a sick bass on the studio recording, but Bill wyman absolutely killed it this performance!!! Goats head soup being served atm. Lol
Taylor certainly did lay down a Killer Bass line .
Keith and Ronnie also laid down some mind blowing bass lines on Stones studio Recordings .
Mick Taylor was rocking it !
hearing the ghs tunes live is fantastic
Finally ... the good music corner on RUclips ...
Por Dios este maldito Mick taylor, me hace llorar cada vez que lo escucho. 68 a 80 la mejor época de los mas grandes de todos los tiempos!
This whole relaunch now sound's brilliant in Dolby Atmos suround 😎
The Rollin Stones store has some pretty iconic stuff.
1969-1974 the Mick Taylor's years.
One of my long time favorites, what a song, what a magic riff, plus Micks vocals and lyrics🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Bravo!
the '73 euro tour is their peak. Mick J sings almost as good as in the records, and Mick T, unlike the previous tours when he equally shared the solos with keith and Bobby, is an unleashed beast !!
Hey bro ,well said I m amazed at how great 73 stones were , musically and visually , even the album title and imagery is 🔥
On the bootleg version Taylor’s playing is excellent but sometimes so loud that Keith sounds faint in the background (“Gimme Shelter”) Seems like they mixed him down when they put it on the GHS special edition. I prefer loud!
@@Glimmer1958 The original bootleg is far better than the remix when you compare.
@@Methilde They are largely different concerts. The bootlegs featured the early show while the official release features the late show, so not really about the mix and not really a fair comparison. The only songs which are the same are Brown Sugar and Midnight Rambler.
@@truefunksoul8638 The remix changes the natural sound,.
Mick Taylor is not only the best Stones’s lead guitarist, he is one of the greatest 🤘🏿🎸
and not only that, but his live playing SHAPED the entire Stones sound... they were NOT a live band when he joined, and he WAS a live player with two full years of real gigs with real audiences not screaming girls like The Stones performed to all those years earlier than when they quit touring from 1966 to 1969: the Stones found themselves in a world of live bands and incredible guitarists, and Mick was their fix
You got it!!!
Taylor is the GOAT of all time. Met him twice in Florida during solo shows early 2000s. He’s not only a great musician but an incredible guy to talk with. Security had to pull us apart we had a woman friend in common and Mick wanted to talk about her extensively. I left with two signed LPs his first solo album and an import of his work with John Mayall! Just a brilliant man in all aspects! ❤
This video needed the rest of the Band 💞💞💖💞💖
I'm daaaancin' so freeee ! 🎸💕🎸🦇👍🖖
Great audio!
love it
Definitely better than the album version
davvero un live fantastico mick taylor gran classe
This is a 100% performance, awesome
Lindo registro histórico 🙏🇧🇷
Está genial que rescatarán ese material 😎👍🎸
Considerably better than the studio cut. Def not always the case. and like darrell gilliam says below, keith be drivin this tune hard.
Se molti gruppi musicali si esibiscono sotto uso di"droghe"sono veramente...BRAVI...!👏👅
Lendas eternas. ...🎸🎸🎸
Amazing Years Stones...1968 to 1978👍🍺🍺🍺🍷🍷🍷🍹🍹🍹🍸🍸🍸🍸🎸🎸🎸🎸
When Mick Taylor played Electric... like to have seen it
Mick always played Electric Christopher
@@ChrisJKing-se4dp yes he did... saw him many times for the short period he played with them ... what i meant was he carried Keith threw his worst drug period
@@ChrisJKing-se4dp He does 😂
Mick Taylor SHAPED the entire Stones sound... they were NOT a live band when he joined, and he WAS a live player with two full years of real Bluesbreakers gigs with real audiences not screaming girls like The Stones performed to all those years earlier than when they quit touring from 1966 to 1969: the Stones found themselves in a world of live bands and incredible guitarists, and Mick was their fix, and he is more important than most think; also, STICKY FINGERS, Taylor's first full album with the band, is the FIRST studio album where a professional and incredible live band is laying out studio tracks... before that, The Stones were brilliant studio mechanics and made incredible music, but it wasn't until after Taylor joined that the studio and the live performances were ONE CONNECTED THING
What a difference between the way the band functions then compared to the years afterwards. Keith was still the force driving the song, and the keyboards and other instruments provided color and flourish. Look at any video in the last 20 years of them playing their major songs live. Chuck Leavell is the one driving the song. Keith and Ronnie Wood are there to provide guitar color. I saw them in '72, '75 and '89 (with Guns n Roses). I'd say they went from their peak to being a character of themselves during that period. They are all still great musicians, but the drive is gone.
Good thing for Chuvk Leavell, because The Stones as they are now are a gatave band doing cover songs. Chuck Keavell's Garage Band Featuring Some Famous Stones, we do all cover songs of The Rolling Stonrs.
I meant garage band, they're a garage band doing covers of Stones songs, replete witj screaming banshee background singers....... Who doesn't miss Nicky Hopkins.
I think last tour where they were playing well is the Urban Jungle Tour from 1990-1991
@@grubbetuchus at least they are still playing, and everyone can enjoy them, things have changed, they are old, what do you want? voodoo lounge, bridges and bigger bang were good tours
@@nicolasbugarin9171 You're right. I'll abandon taste, lower my expectations, and look elsewhere for musicianship. The Excuse Factory hasn't shut down from Covid-19.
The video of the concert in Brussels in 1973 for sure was recorded but maybe the videotapes got lost
That's sucks
Bullshit and bullshit sorry no way that is true on either count. Random RUclips comments saying "for sure" does not make it a reality. The videos got lost, sure.
wow haaaaaaaaa
😄🔥🔥🔥
les stones au top ne pas oublier bill WYMAN
Down in the graveyard where we have our tryst
The air smells sweet, the air smells sick
He never smiles, his mouth merely twists
The breath in my lungs feels clinging and thick
But I know his name, he's called Mr. D.
And one of these days he's gonna set you free
Human skulls is hangin' right 'round his neck
The palms of my hands is clammy and wet
Lord, I was dancin', dancin', dancin' so free
Dancin', Lord, keep your hand off me
Dancin' with Mr. D., with Mr. D., with Mr. D.
Will it be poison put in my glass
Will it be slow or will it be fast?
The bite of a snake, the sting of a spider
A drink of Belladonna on a Toussaint night
Hiding in a corner in New York City
Lookin' down a fourty-four in West Virginia
One night I was dancin' with a lady in black
Wearin' black silk gloves and a black silk hat
She looked at me longin' with black velvet eyes
She gazed at me strange all cunning and wise
Then I saw the flesh just fall off her bones
The eyes in her skull was burning like coals
Lord, have mercy, fire and brimstone
I was dancin' with Mrs. D.
Hail 1973 ,🐐s head soup and houses of the koly by - ZEPPELIN

Great album, fantastic tunes! Don't waste you time watching the videos, they just keep showing 10 second loops of Keith playing...😲
GIF life
I was expecting a live video but hey I’ll take a solid recording paired with an endless loop of Keith probably from another song 🤷 let’s dance with the devil baby
He is Keef Riffhard.

‘…hidin’ in a corner in New York City, lookin’ down a .44 in Mississippi…’
I’d never knock Keith and Mick’s song writing out of respect for the band but- I just feel like Mississippi in place of West Virginia would’ve sounded better and given that line more of a rhymey flow…just my two cents as a StOnEs fan! 🤟🏻💋
@@parallaxcontinuum7898 I suppose
That recording is better than the original. Goats Head Soup is plagued by muddy mixing. I wish they could do a good digital remix.
greatest band with Taylor good bar band without
El video parece de broma, bucle de imagenes,así no!
What is this current MICK and Keith thing with these new videos. Bloody stupid. Give the rest of the band & MICK TAYLOR his due.
They - particularly Jagger - do their best to exclude Mick Taylor. Maybe it's a vendetta against the titan of great guitar or maybe it might have to do with performance rights (just a theory, I'm no lawyer).
Glad to see another UK number 1 🔥
Still happening...
I had a bootleg album of this show years ago ... Bedknobs and bedsprings according to a bootleg guide it was 1 of 250 pressed. I was doing a lot drugs and would sit and listen to it for hours on end. I was suicidal when l lost my collection to a flood. 😠
Several of the songs were were left off of Exile in Main St. The story I heard was Keith and Mick were both sick of working on Exile CUT A DEMO TAPE SHORT. and went on holiday. Sticky Fingers was Keiths baby and nearly in the can so when they came
back from holiday they dropped it and went back to the part of Exile they'd left on the floor.
Not bad for a tossoff...😠
Utter bullshit. Exile is a double album with 18 tracks, so how was it CUT SHORT? Sticky Fingers obviously came out before Exile, so it has nothing to do with Exile or Goats Head. You really don't need to be vaguely recalling that story you heard.
@@truefunksoul8638 didnt say it was cut short mate...said the songs were left in the can for later. Keith said in an interview recently theyyve got 200 songs that "will prolly never see the light of day. We cant do them all!"
Charlie. Fucking. Watts.
Great song but not really a video , just keith wildly strumming in a different time signature
And again, great songs, crappy video....
mick great on this on guiter dont think its all mick taylor keef had a lot to do with the playing
Keef basically on rhythm guitar, Mick Taylor on fills/ solos.Richards could never play leads with this tone/vibrato.
😅19 people can’t dance....
Ive heard better versions from this tour ....
Taylor was 50% of this song!
Other 50% is Charlie Watts
Mick Taylor baby!
