Mick Taylor on fire with amazing guitar solos
👱🏻♂️🎙🧑🏼🎸🧑🏼🥁💁♂️🎸 Rolling Stones 👅
Their best year ! 72/73 they were absolutely amazing on stage ! Mick taylor was doing a great job and also having billy preston as pianist was incredible ! Many talent on the same stage !
truly one of best live performances of tumbling dice
It's good, but I don't think it's from Brussels Affair. I have a CD that I lost the case for, and the T. Dice on there is different, and one of the best solos I've ever heard from the great M. Taylor. The disc has a shoddy picture of Keith on it. Let me know if this sounds familiar... Edit: Just found the case. Brussels Affair 1973, and the version of Tumblin' Dice is outstanding!!
@@stephenzanichkowsky4434 There were two shows in Brussels on that date. I believe this is from the early show and the one you're referring to is from the late show. Both are good but I believe you're right about the later show being superior as far as MT's guitar goes.
Stephen's right. This is an all right performance of TD; the Brussels Affair version with that electric Taylor solo, is even better.
m.ruclips.net/video/KpalF7RrKvg/видео.html is the version of Tumbling Dice from their other show in Brussels. No idea if first or second show, but that solo, and just the heavy, dripping tone throughout, is well worth your time.
Bummer Keith/Mick and Mick Taylor couldn't get along.
Not sure what you guys are talking about, this is that song from that show. This solo is the one you’re talking about and it’s amazing.
1969. 1974. Rolling stones. Fantastic....
Mick taylor years.
I love the Stones body of work, and i'm a big Ronnie fan. That said, there is undeniably something special about the licks Taylor plays here in between verses, and the solo is beautiful, on fire. I always had the impression that in the Taylor era, the Stones really upped their live skills to another level. They had to be on their toes with a player like that.
You pinned it down perfectly! His incredible skill lifted the ENTIRE band. I understand why Keith started to get jealous but they were never the same live after MT left.
Mick Taylor is/ was fantastic!!! The Stones were at their best with him!!! I'm still not over him leaving and with Charlie's passing 💞💝💖🙏🙏🙏
Dude, thanks for saying it because I couldn’t say it better myself. I think it’s safe to say we and everyone here are listening to very esoteric lead guitar playing in this song. With such simple chord changes, this outro is somehow brought to life by Taylor here. What a special player he was.
I'm so partial to the Mick Taylor era. Especially the live recordings
Ronnie was a better fit . Maybe not musically, but spiritually
Who isn't!?!
The band's tight sound combined with Jagger's powerful voice and Taylor's beautiful solo: No wonder they are The greatest rock'n roll band in the world! :-)
Great era of the stones! 💘
Great... Great vocal... Great Mick Taylor.. Great Stones forever and ever 👍👍👍🎤🎵💕💋
What a band.
Makes me cry when think of what should have been ...what 5 or 6 more albums with both micks and keith together...
We weren't ready for such greatness, unfortunately.
@@dx12red I was
Ronnie was better fit..maybe not musically, but spiritually
Keith has said he is happier playing with Ronnie than MT
@@keredsilloc4095 only cos he bows down to Keef. Musically Ronnie has brought nothing to the Stones at all.
Classic Stones, all band members shine!
Mick Taylor really shines in this one.
Mick Taylor always shines. Best lead guitarist the Stones ever had.
@@petermills2061 - No , they play off of Charlie who plays off of Jagger.
@@roseblake5803
You are so wrong !! Charlie plays off Keith & vice versa, that's why they have a unique sound.
Your suggestion that 'Charlie plays off Mick' is ridiculous !!
@@petermills2061 - Kinda hard to play off of Keith when he’s walking around flexing and posing.
@@roseblake5803
Keith's physical movements & his playing style are part of the same thing !!
How can you NOT have picked up on that all these years ?!
The Stones played one of their best song both in terms of music with brass and vocal, they are at the top of their game
BEST VERSION OF TUMBLING DICE EVER .
Stones peaked more times than any band ever.
67, 69, 72, 78, etc.
That so perfect and true!!!
91
Very true!!
Who wants to write about the loop hearing this máster piice. Great sound. Thnks Mick!!!
Mick Taylor, we miss you!
Very nice.
I still prefer the versions from ‘72, and ultimately, the studio cut is perfect
There’s something ethereal about the 1972 live version.
Lendas eternas do rock mundial. ... 🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🎸🎸🎸
Keith carrying the song, and Taylor Seasoning it!!!
the greatest in all of rock history
All that kicking!! Mick looks like he's deliberately trying to split his trousers 😂🤣
Nadie los supera
One of my favorites
Hello, how are you doing it’s nice meeting you here.
God this is so good !
There is no footage of this Brussels affair 1973, so they had to find something. the music is great, that's what counts :)
yes, there is!it was a special show for the french fans because Keith was forbidden to enter french territory,I guess one gotta check the vaults of belgian tv
if you got a link that will be nice :)
Willman Musicman if you ever get the footage, might as well share the link here :)
William Musicman, are you sure, never heard it was taped, holy grail or what!!!!!!!!, Puzzles me that
it wasn't it included on either Goats Head Soup De luxe box set or the 2012 Brussels Affair box set, you'd think the Stones could have cleared it with the Dutch TV company to have it seen by the millions of fans me included, I'd love you to be right of course👍
Mick before Tina Turner taught him to dance. 😉 I got to finally see them in '86. Nothing today can ever compare to me. 🤟✌️❤️🌼
Oh my, this is terrific. No one better. By the look of micks kicks , he definitely has someone special in mind.
Himself lol
we love you forever Mr Charles Watts.
This is on a boot called Bedspring Symphony
Yeah! This stuff we want! Is the mick Taylor well mixed? Or is at the back?wow yes is right! Ok Stones give us that stuff! Thanks we’ll pay.
I remember when I first heard this 🎵 and I ❤️ still love it. Great Music and Group. I would love to see the Stones before I die. They are,on my bucket list
no other band could ever do what the stones have done
Лючше Rolling Stones , только Rolling Stones.
I forgot huge Mick Taylor on lead guitar, wow
71 - 78 Stones golden LIVER era .... albums 68 - 78 ..
Cool video.
I never saw that costume before but I love the pants!
It was a all combinaison.
good 👍👍 konser music
really this is from Bruselles Affair? it´s not like my old cassette . I knew Gimme Shelter was recorder in London, but this is not the same of the unofficial bootleg
It is from Brussels second show. Your cassette has the first show (which is the better one).
baby I cant stay
I know they released an expensive Brussels Affair Box set circa 2012 (limited to 1973 copies with book and Mick Jagger autograph), but sadly without the Blu ray video 🙂🙂☺️
I'll roll your dice like no tomorrow 🤣
CHEEKY!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Perfect shit, right here
Mick taylor flies through the music.
This is what the album Love You Live should have sounded like.
except it woudln't have. dead wood
If you have source for original bootleg music there are two albums from the same tour i would recommend way above others: Liver Than You'll Ever Be at the Cow Palace in SF. and Bedknobs and Box Springs ...both very well done sound quality wise. I went to school in LA and still have friends in the area . They tell me Middle Earth Records in Downey and Rhino Records in Claremont have a large supply of bootleg stuff.
enjoy!
gigantic difference in the band's sound between the 73 European Tour and the 75 TOTA....love them with Ronnie, but the Stones circa 1972-73 is the absolute pinnacle of rock n roll
@@leecawthon8034 I'd say 69-73.
Siempre quise decir esto "primer comentario y like"
M.TALOR IS ALSO A GREAT ROLLING STONE.R.F.
👏
Happy Birthday Mick Jagger!
Ohhhhhh is not a video! Mick looks like if he were in the soccer World Cup! Ok. Great recording.
I’ve got the uk release 45 for this somewhere..
Es injusto que no esten mas Taylor y Wyman....
GREAT SOUND QUALITY, BUT WHAT'S WITH THE LOOPING VIDEO OF MICK DANCING FOR 5 SECONDS OVER AND OVER AND OVER.
They are ALL like this! 3-5 sec loops!
Do the Stones have a concert film for 1973?
Ladies and Gentleman The Rolling Stones is a part of a show. They showed up at 1am so it was shortened ...but its quality. Mick Taylor stretching out a bit...esp on Tumbling Dice.!!! 😁
@@bribos99 that's a different promotional tour for 1972 but they seem to have no concert film for 1973 promoting goat head soup.
@@bribos99 That's 1972 US Tour (STP).
my bad
I dont believe so. They were going to release a live album from 73, but it was scrapped due to an issue with Decca. Check out Billy Preston opening for them with special guest Mick T
aylor from same tour. Billy, as we all know, toured with the Stones in 73 and 75/76.
How can anybody watch this with that loop??
Ampegs were a key to the Stones live sound..
Beat Version.
Sound is good. But no need movie
The Nasty Songs versions are the best!!
Mick's doing more kicks than Bruce Lee.
Sing your heart out, mate.
Mick Taylor is the GREATEST......!!!!
if Bill Wyman was only a notch higher it would be perfect.
Linda Ronstadt version is pretty good too!!! Her live performance at Atlanta on RUclips is worth listening. Waddy Wachtel does Taylor justice.
In the last analysis, what the Mick Taylor fans assert is that at the age of 27 the Rolling Stones were 27 years old and at the age of 30 they were 30 years old.
MICK TAYLOR. GUITAR....kied. Richar??????
Very l a i d b a c k version .
ミック最強だな
I was really hoping Tumbling Dice from the other show in Brussels would be released with GHS. It was on King Biscuit Flour Hour it's been circulating for decades on bootlegs and it's way better than this one. MJ is less jivey and the outro, Keith and MT just kill it. Some day the Stones machine will spit out a clean, clean mix of it.
Yes, you're completly right, I download it and it really better.
great tune, but that video loop is tiresome
Sorry but I have download version of the original Brussell bootleg (Lapaz Mix) and it is far much better, don't understand this remix. For exemple, Tumbling it's not the same version? Almost fore Mick Taylor solos.p
Coulnd't somebody - please -please - arrange the stupid video giving one of the best performances a worthy wrapping up?
Waiting for that left leg to get up...😊
oh yea
🙈🙈🙈
honey I got no money
I was so high I never till the end of the song that it's a 10 sec loop damn it'. SNOKE another one
Mick Taylor bien meilleur que ron wood,dommage........
Stop that video, are you kiddin me?
the looping Mick thing as a video is annoying.
The best song by The Stones and the one they never get right live. It’s always too slow or too fast. The song’s a sloppy groove and it always sounds wrong live. Maybe you need heroin.
I was at that show an Mick was doing that stupid kick thing the entire night. Annoying as fk.
And I was round when Jesus had his moment of doubt and pain😀
The weird, repetitive right leg kicking is very distracting and annoying.Get a better video please! The music is fantastic though!
Don’t look at it lol. There’s no footage for these shows. Must you stare at a screen while listening to music?
LAME!!!!!
Only the 3 second loop.
I guess you prefer the Grateful Dead version.
Away troll.
Ronnie Wood's attempted cover of Mick Taylor's version of this song is dreadful in my opinion. However, everyone seems to like Ronnie which is half the battle I suppose. Still, he's no Mick Taylor. I've got grade 8 by the way, but I'm not famous.
mick taylor session player no personality just stands there good player but boring
His guitar playing was amazing. No need for anything else. Same as Bill Wyman. The music at that time was incredible. Never beennas good since he left the band.
Taylor is a real musician, focused on execution, not gyrating for the audience
He could engage in onstage antics like the other player but the music would been mediocre as it is now
What should he be doing? Competing w/Jagger?
Good player?
Please.
Virtuoso.
Mick Taylor, we miss you!
Really?
