Why would you ever trade that? Mick Taylor takes their music to the moon and it’s hardly a coincidence their best sound and best albums are between 1969-74

Brussels Affair is the best they ever played live. Mick Taylor was just amazing - he rings emotion out of every note with that thrilling vibrato of his and Keith just gives him the perfect runway to take off from. Mind blowing version of "Angie" on that album. I used to have a bootleg of the first show of this tour from Vancouver in '72. Would love to have it again. Heartbreaking solo on "You Can't Always Get What You Want".

That bootleg also has Ventilator Blues on it, though the sound quality could be better, its astounding as a document. One cannot believe this is a world only a half century away: given the sickly piety and Puritanism now, it might as well be Millenia ...

Got so many chills from MICK TAYLOR ‘s playing I had to put a coat on. Any guitarist can play rhythm but only Taylor can make that melodic sound.

when they had Mick Taylor they were the best; he was a virtuoso and a perfectionist while Keith played what he felt/how he felt... so it just wasn't the same when The Stones became two Keith Richards... it all kind of sloshed together... but Taylor made them all sound better... "he brought us professionalism" Charlie Watts said of him

If only the ancients could see their religions of Venus-Cytherea-Melitta come true in this song and its eternal rhythm: "YOU GOT TO ROLL ME." How many girls & boys found their motion in Tumblin Dice . This song did more for human health and happiness than GDP.

    The virtuoso Mick Taylor.
His effortless and melodic runs were what made the Stones the greatest rock and roll band in the world at this time.
Compared to him, Woody sounds like a plumber.
