- Опубликовано: 25 май 2024
- Recorded: 22nd January - 09th February 1975, Rotterdam, Netherlands, De Doelen, Mobile Record Unit.
Recordings for the upcoming album Black And Blue.
Producers: The Glimmer Twins. Sound engineers: Keith Harwood and Glyn Johns.
If a professional cover band is looking for a smart career opportunity, they can make a good living by playing only Rolling Stones outtakes. Stone's unfinished songs are much better than most of the rock music being released now.
This is literally a genius idea. Someone (you?) should make this happen. Only way to hear these buried gems live.
PS This song is great!
Professional cover bands are stupid by nature. They choose only obvious songs. They always win.
This sounds like another modern vocal with additional overdubs on an old backing track, like “Pass the Wine” and “Plundered My Soul”. But those were killer songs. This is forgettable.
Tout juste ... j avais une copine qui ne faisait aucune différence entre bob dylan et annie cordy .
I am sure there are several Rolling Stones cover bands already
Wayne Perkins on lead guitar.
I miss Charlie. He was my secret favorite. Always looked so cool, too. Good family man, too. RIP.
yea... never missed a beat.. i have listened to Let's Spend The Night Together, in the mono version, for.. well.. a million times is an exaggeration.. but a lot.. the timing of his run just on a different level.. RIP, Charlie.. rock on out there among the stars
I REALLY LOVE THIS BAND ...from the botton of my soul. ❤❤😊😊
Idem!
Love this album, don't care what critics say. This song is a bit too Motown for sparse sound of BLACK & BLUE
What a great track.
And The Stones looked unbelievably cool in the 1970’s...
Just excellent montage..Thank you ✌🌍💚🐧👅
Nobody does it like the rolling stones. Thank you for all of it .
Brillante. Ese sonido único es brillante.
Really like it. Has a Heat Wave groove.
The Beatles broke up 50 years ago, the Stones just released an album of new music, and are on a world tour
Can't wait to see them again in less than a week
Rolling Stones play just about every gent of music, but their root is definitely black blues music. They beg, borrowed and stole everything they could from US southern blues, but they made it their own and rocked like nobody before or after them. Long live the greatest rock band that ever was and ever will be 🤘
Yes. But they always give credits to where credits are due. They invite the singers who they copied on stage to sing with them. Recently they invited Irma Thomas to sing Time is on my side. I have never seen the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith or U2 do that.
@@SargonofQueensAgree 100%. I meant my comments to be a positive not a knock. They have been my favorite band since the first time I heard them - I was 9 (I’ll be 61 in a couple months).
I'm truly loving this time machine of all of these pics of the stones. Some are really vintage and it's amazing. This song is awesome another song from the stone's vault. They really need to start bringing these out cause, they are unique and phenomenal.
Masterpiece! Sounds like exile on main str
This is a good one. Haven't heard it before, I think. They should release those Black & Blue sessions. It was a prolific and inspired period. Charlie was on fire on B&B. The drums are so prevailing on that album, he carries the music on it.
I agree! Charlie was in his best form ever for the B@B sessions imo. Check out the other outtake "come on suger lets do it right" hes very good on that too!
What a great song. Imagine having so much great material that you can sit on this one for decades.
Es la primera vez que escucho este temazo. No tengo palabras, sólo felicitaciones. Enhorabuena la canción es impresionante.
That should have been on Black and Blue. B&B was the last lp I bought of them. I always was a big fan from the start but then I completely lost interest. They became a main industry, sounding the same to me over and over. But I still love all their music up to that point. Keith was always my favorite and his “Waiting for the man” is superb.
Damn this sounds good! Tried to find it to download. Can’t wait for the treasure trove of unreleased gems from the best rock and roll band ever to be be put out 🤘
Larga vida a los Stones, mejor imposible..
Like this better than some of the songs on Black and Blue...kinda more rollicking not all forced funky...Heatwave but amped up
It's good to have Jamming Edward back.. And it's been said before and it'll be said again:
This man should be on The Stones Payroll.
thanks so much. another unheard jem from jamming edwards.
Where did this come from? Pure brilliance! They Are the Greatest Rock and ROLL Band Ever! Thanks!
Make 5 or more LP with this great outtakes!
Wow, great one. Love the Honkytonk piano.
Brilliant!! 😃
I love this song ❤❤❤🎶🖤
Fab, Fab video to the music.
The stones unreleased bootleg catalogue is greater then most bands past and present. I know this band quite well and I’m ashamed I never knew this one. But very thankful to you for sharing. Health and happiness bro
My pleasure + many thx
Charlie!!!! Drums!!!! Groove!!!!
Hermosos Rolling!!!
Like a heatwave
grupo insuperable
I never understood how people always raved about the Beatles, especially since they only lasted for a few years. The Stones started at the same time, were always a better, deeper band and are still around today. No comparison.
I’m sure they were good? But I’m with you, I just don’t get it. Frank Zappa once said when asked about the Beatles, he said they were OK but he preferred the Rolling Stones because of their clearer rock'n'roll and R'n'B.
That’s the thing the stones make you wanna move. It’s feel good rythym. It doesn’t depress you like those whiny wanker Beatles do. My old flat mate was Beatles obsessed, had no interest in the stones and all you’de hear on the stereo was those tossers crying about letting it be and living in yellow submarine. It was suicide inducing let me tell ya. I had to block it out with twice as much stones in my headphones
Marketing. The Beatles were marketed as a pop act and sold numerous units on the back of being "good boys next door". They were talented too, of course, but the marketing and hype was off the scale.
The Beatles made better music than the stones did in the 60s . The stones made their best music in the 70s . Yes the stones had a few hits in the 60s but as a whole the Beatles had the better catalog than the stones
oh, FFS, ever come across the "Apples Oranges" reference.. ooeehh... fruitcake... JFC..
I totally agree. Whoever thinks the Beatles are better, only look at how their music last now. Who still sings “ she loves me yeh yeh” “ I want to hold your hand “ these days? But The Rolling Stones songs are timeless. They are popular no matter how old they become. Even most people hearing it for the first time can tell it’s a good song
Yeah. All I need.
The "Jamming Edward" Channel uses the best footage of the Stones in the montage videos. Thanks J. E.🎉
Gerçek Stones sound ❤
I miss Charlie!
Love you All
This was recorded when the Stones were trying to find a replacement for Mick Taylor. I’ll have to pull this album out and play it again it’s been many decades since I heard it.
Like Sabinianomaia4844 I love this band from the bottom of my soul.
無茶苦茶良いじゃないですか!!!
Thank you 🖤
You’re welcome ✌️
Thank you for sharing, very good song of "Rolling Stones", greetings!
My pleasure!
Stones forever just caught them in May at met life minus charlie but still great
End less Stones ❤
3 CHORD DRUGGIES OWN YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU GO GIRL!!!!! A SLAVE OF ROCKAND ROLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mantap brayyy
🙌👏👏👏💪
Charlie with the strong downbeat!❤❤❤❤
Where can I find the rehearsal vthey did with Jeff Beck? He jammed with them and thought about joining the Stones for a brief time.
Thumbnail shows Mick Taylor, but I don´t think he was still with the band when this was recorded.
That's Wayne Perkins on lead...
Wow. Great one.
Have you ever thought of using AI to put some of the newer released outtakes, like Plundered My Soul, into Mick’s voice from the early 70s?
How the fuck did this not get released??? It's better than a ton of stuff they've done since then!!
Охуительно👍🥃
How the hell did this song escape ?
iT'S NOT THAT GOOD................
El pianista es Nicky Hopkins??
👅👏👏👏💘
can't believe this was not included in any album, it is much much more than an outtake
Sounds like a slowed-down version of Martha & the Vandellas' 'Heatwave'. They weren't, however, too out of it in 1975 to realise it's unworthy to be even on 'Black and Blue', one of their most lacklustre releases to that point....but, as history shows, even worse was coming in the '80s, '90s and 21st C.
Detroit Rock City - KoL
I only wish that the video kept with the B+B Era. I love the videos from the 'Sympathy' sessions but I've seen them a lot. What we seem to have been cheated (Not by this video maker but by the Stones.) with so little video from the G.H.S. album, even with the 2020 Re-issuse that I eagerly soaked up on release and just like in 1970s I layed back on the bed (which is the bed of a married man instead of a teenager's bed) and read all the liner notes. As far as the Black + Blue era, I'd put it at 1974 to the 'Love Ya Live' album period. These content creators do amazing jobs but one can only pluck out of what's made available to them. So thank you for this nice video and very enjoyable song from a wonderful era. Thank you brother. (This had to be made by a guy.. or am I wrong?)
You're welcome and many thx. Yep - you're right
Keef the riff mister
The Stones seem to miss the mark even on reissued and outtakes. When they did the Goats Head Soup release a couple of years ago, they didn't put the outtake of the song Angel Girl. This is like an Angie-Winter type of song.Maybe because Jagger sounds quite stoned on the vocals.
Angel girl is a fake. Pretty good though, I like it👍
Interesting! Who's the other guitarist?
Wayne Perkins. He was a “ Swamper”.
@@darylbrooker2468 Thanks for the Info👍
@@darylbrooker2468Wayne Perkins was the guitarist I rated most on the Black and Blue Album🎉 I didn't know he belonged to the Muscle Shoals Crew😅
Not from B&B sessions
I like it! End of era.
Some thoughts how they found the worst guitarist(Ron Wood) in earth
Doesn’t sound like Ronnie or Keith playing lead.
Sounds More like Harvey Mandel or Wayne Perkins.
It's probably Jeff Beck
@@jammingedward664 Yes. I forgot Jeff was also auditioned.
Keith and Ron are really bad lead players
It’s Wayne Perkins. He’s all over the rehearsals of this track on the Rotterdam Rehearsals.
@@vincenzostr4488 check Keef's Sympathy solo on Ya-Yas
Sorry, but this wouldn't fit to Black and Blue at all...this sounds more like Elton John or Rod Stewart song
Also it sounds like Mick Taylor not Woody playing. And Taylor left before Black and Blue. His last album with them was Its Only R+R.
Клоуны!
