Those years tween 77 and 79 was ridiculously fertile time for them...lots of fast songs...Chris Kimsey was the engineer and Pathe Marconi EMI Paris was the place for those years
Most would argue the stones peaked only once. I disagree. They came back with a vengeance for some girls/emotional rescue era. So much incredible material was recorded from '77-'79. Rivaling that of even exile at times. Really we should habe got 2 double albums from those 2 records. Imagine that.
@@stonecrazy Absolutely. 'Ain't too proud to beg' cover song, would be the only real song id pick from a line up on IORR... Then again the rolling stones almost could have made a career off cover songs (For one, 'just my imagination' was gorgeous.) The title song it's only rock and roll is such a boring song for me. Yawn, Goatshead was a poor effort but in it's defense how to make an album that trumps 'exile at the time? These are my views of course, but even black and blue was a mediocre release IMO. Here's an unpopular opinion, I would go so far to say undercover is a great album and hear me out... Steel wheels is a 80s masterpiece, the best album since some girls, when you combine it with the b-side blues tracks they released alongside the album.
@@vincenzostr4488 I get what you're saying, believe me. No argument. Taylor was amazing (as was Brian). But it's just something that's never bothered me when listening to the stones. I really don't care they never got a on-par 🪓 man post Taylor. You may or may not agree with me, but the most crucial element of the stones is Charlie's drumming and Mick's voice. If you had to you could.make something work around all that had they had to reform the band at some point.
@@borrisyuslav4306 regarding Charlie Watts i agree with you. He was part of the original sound of the band together with Bill Wyman. After 1993 when Bill left the band they were not the same anymore
You're welcome - but unfortunately I don't have the lyrics. Mick Jagger used the song for his 1985 solo album She's the Boss with new lyrics and changed the music
Surely there must have been some sort of a deal (i mean copyrights) between Mick and Keith. Do You/anyone know details? btw - i like that version better thought i admire Mick"s solo work a lot))) @@jammingedward664
The stones were extremely productive in the late 70s and early 80s. They could've put together great albums by working the material up. Instead we got dirty work and steel wheels. Bleh!
I would love to hear all of these songs cleaned up and recorded on a special album great out takes.
It would take 20 albums at least. Thousands of bootlegs out there.

I like this raw first version by tha STONES. But the track on Jaggers solo debut "she's the boss" is very good too, just in my opinion
I adore this ❤️ The pics are new to me. I shared with the public, it will be appreciated!
Thank you for sharing! ♡☆♡☆♡☆♡

Some Girls, ER and Tattoo You are really great albums. For me they are waaay better than Goat Head's soup & It's Only Rock'n'roll.

They lost the best guitar player they ever had. They made a big mistake to not replace him with someone with same level of skills

Very good!
Thank you for you go up the very good video of the rare song of The Rolling Stones. Is possible that you go up the "lyrics" of this song? Greetings!

Most Stones lyrics and info are on Keno’s Rolling Stones Lyrics site. This one is not but a lot of unreleased songs are on there
@@flyingburritobro68 Thank you for your kind answer, greetings!
Think Mick used this song on one of his solo albums.

Mick's song. Used - improved- in one of his solo album.
