I really enjoy watching your videos. I broke my back a handful of years back booting me from riding bikes. Born in 70 I really dig seeing some of the bikes you work on many remind me of the 80s and the cool bikes from that era. I wasn't much of a free style kinda guy but I had a mint GT with the pegs and all that and I loved that bike honestly wish I still had it and all the bike shops in my area all suck no one is kind and no one wants to talk about or do anything with older bikes like the GT and bmx bikes id love to get one for my grand daughter one day.
Keep up the killer videos thanks for sharing all you do its rare to see well least around here lol thanks

Thanks for the video. I have an e-bike where the front wheel doesn't spin freely actually it's rather tight. I had someone work on it and I want tight breaks but not rubbing so much to where you can't spin the wheel freely. So what it appears they did was loosen up the cable and pull it tight. So I'm going to take a look at what brand it is and see if there's other adjustments and hopefully I'll be able to dial it in so I don't wear down the pads too quick and my battery on the bike. Thanks for another great video Jason!

This was very good. What torque wrench do you use?

I use the Toepeak or the Evo torque wrench. Tganks.👍

Seems like if you have a quick release tire, you’ll need to adjust the brakes every time you take the tire off. (I’m assuming the tire doesn’t quite fit the same way every time it’s removed and attached again.)

There supposed to go back the same everytime. I had one bike with a bent axle and everytime I put it back on I had to adjust the brake. I learned to just keep turning the axle until the brake lined up. Maybe this will help.👍

These kind of brakes are so annoying to tune lol. I think worth splurging for dual piston

@@thr0nic yes the hybrid. The brake section uses fluid that doesn’t need servicing. Then a cable actuate the brake.
