    Duude 😂 You’re flippin’ halarious. If I wrenched at your shop, I’d be in tears, cheek and abdominal spasm cramps, perma-grin, snorkin Snapple thru my schnazz silly at it. Anyways RESPECT!!! Dream Bike Nice accessorizing. I only learned of these after the fact. Include this frame set in my herd of unicorns. If I’m good with St. Pete, then I’ll run with all my dogs past and a cavalry of Klunkers like a Yeti Zephyr, a Merlin Newsboy , a CBR 3-bar. We’d wonder eternally meeting all of my loved ones to party pace, ballooney style amongst majestic wild trails to levitating asteroid boulder problems or on to peaceful beaches where the surf always breaks both ways maybe climbing to KT-22 and it is always frosty fat first chair fresh canvas every drop. Have you ever seen this bike check , out there maybe at BMX museum. An O.G. oldshool barn find or hand me down all real CBR frame set,stem,bars,post, Sagino, Philwood , Arya, I think snakebellys. Anyways. The cool part is the provenace. Apparently, It was one of a fleet used by Escobar’s cartel for mercenary messengers. BOLO Todas. Estoy buscando cualquier marco o construcción de 3 barras de CBR o S&E en el mercado. I’m currently aboard my trusty and spirited ship, Kiki. She’s my superb super model. A design lineage of continental hybrid ping pong. As Schwinn claimed his inspiration for the balloon tire bike was from examples noticed on a voyage to Germany. Folklore perhaps because the American market had a few other bulbus examples previous to the Schwinn’s debut. This muted golden pewter sprayed beaut born from Japanese 4130, quality crafted and Taiwanese tigged. German designed WETHEPEOPLE BMX, 27.5 soon to be 2.8 PLUS and tubeless, rocking the Son 28 dyno front wheel and Rohloff 500/14 internal speed. Being retro fitted for expedition service, light strike , pack mule pace, grand tourer for the bike route , Sky Island, Grand Canyon, 800 not so mild miles, 90% unimproved jeep roads and single track border to border traverse , ARIZONA TRAIL. Currently in budget and logistics phase. Sure do enjoy the single speed for training. So direct. Quite a bit of hike-a-bike but, it’s caveman style, bare bones good gruesome callousing conditioniong and back on the roads, I’m really learning to wick up the turbo of my RPMs. Surprising some of the Lycra clad. This has me thinking to modify the drivetrain with 160-165 mm cranks. BMX of course. Perhaps a 28 tooth sprocket with guard for the gnar granite water bars. Spinnin’ an a Grinnin’. Already brought along my Brooks Swallow saddle as the first mod. I’m hoping to afford the CBR Ti post and 7 inch high rise cruiser bars before they’re gone. I figure no reason to crook my neck for duckin the wind when I’ll be packed with my home. I ain’t tryin to race or wreck. Consider me Upright Citizen style. A Randonnée handlebar case. Two 10 L panniers upon a Ti Tubus rear rack. Mounted by aluminum A&N or Aero clamps. Sleep kit on top of the rack and 10 L water bladder/pillow on top too. Two Nalgene bottle capable cages. Bear spray mounted at hand. Impero Ultimo large frame pump. Tucked in the bags, a Filter pump. Cookset. food repair kit ( spices ). Bike repair kit. First Aid kit. Toothbrush. Apple Air Tags hidden on board. Battery bank. Electronic gadgets. Very importantly, an item which epitomizes the civility of safari grand tour mindset rather than roughin’ it misadventure, A CHAIR. A Helinox for certain. A leather bound travel bible and journal. A sketch pad. A Hemingway paperback. Coffee. Beans and Rice. Tuna. SPAM. M.R.E.s. Jolly Ranchers. Some nights a flask or vape. Of course multi tools, knives and pistol. Rambling? You bet. Killing two birds with one stone by using this comment for the daily journal entry.

      The problem with finding someone who knows how to "stunt ride" this swing bike is close to retirement age and is not willing to hurt themselves. Keep in mind this bike was made 49 years ago. I know they make similar swing bikes today but they are far and few between. I can't try to much on this bike due to the fact that the frame is broken. Thanks for commenting. We will probably do some future videos on it.👍

    I have an old Chromoly "MTN TEK" 7 X 3 speed which I guess was sold by Pedersen's Sporting Goods as a house brand. Looking at the frame and components, though, I think it must have been built by Trek. Hard to find a lot of information about that. Anyway, I bought in the 90s and rode it only rarely, but now I ride it daily, with a new seat and tires. I love it and am glad I hung onto it.

    If leaning back or putting more weight on the rear goose neck seat post may help right? one would think. I think it can be done and improved for sure moving the center of gravity more towards the rear wheel I am unsure about breaking but know some motor skateboards have hand controls I would guess you could rig up a handgrip over a short pipe for a hand break with an average length break cable if the read break is a must and the vertical tube seems in that design does lean forward I assume by design one could set it back a few more degrees to bring it back to an almost vertical or a bit towards the back but just my idea's I am just a laymen and am sure an engineer would be better at a design but if someone was really skilled at CAD could toss something with a tweak or two like described maybe worth a look.

    can i use MTB frame replace for BMX bikes ?

    • @alloutbikes
      @alloutbikes 5 дней назад

      Not really. The geometry is different. Also the frames on the bmx bikes tend to be a little more stout. You can make a single speed mtb bike and put a bmx handlebar to make a wheelie bike but you have to come up with some sort of chain tensioner due to the wrong type of dropouts. Most mtb bike rely on a derailleur to keep the chain tight.

    I bought similar model but from Vevor of the MTB Forks and foldable frame. I converted into an ETrike and need to fyi, once you put a motor on a TRIKE, its no longer for Sr.s or older folks as you become more like Evil Kinevil . The physics is different from 2 wheelers and no sharp turns as you have to slow down almost or complete stop when turning. You only have about 3 to 4 inches from each turn swivel and you need to always counter balance the Trike when turning of a more boxed in like feeling. It peddles great but once a motor is in, you can not just speed away and at constant mind of being alert of the balancing when over rough terrain as its very easy to sway depending on angle and pavement ,. Never ride on sidewalks, the driveway entry points will make Trike lean and you have to steer to get balance or you will coast to either side of needing to control direction. Its a challenge on E Trikes of balancing as ALL TRIKES are Stage Coaches without the horse as lead. Overall the E Trike I build is part of my collection of my E Bike Life. Oh, I took side fenders out due to constant adjusting from rattling next to basket. Just better without them.

    What I do is I take the bike crank off then I turn the bike up side down and inside where the crank goes there's a hole inside I make sure the post hole is covered first then I poor vinegar from the crank hole and then I poor bake soda powder and I'll let it seat for a day that will take rust from the inside frame then turn bike up again and poor some lubricant oil and start pulling post out with force it work everytime for me

    • @alloutbikes

      I have used vinegar with some success. What I found is if you don't rinse it out really good and then use penetrating oil immediately afterwards it starts to rust immediately. I have never tried using baking soda with it.

    All those issues you had on this build, I had as well with my 24” Monza that I got last year. No/very little grease, no thread locks, over tighten on almost everything. But once that was taken care off…it’s a blast to ride. If you have no experience working on a bike…I would definitely take it to a shop. The history behind Monza is pretty cool though, a bunch of guys who grew up riding BMX decided to start their own bike company and tried to stay true (with modern upgrades) to old school BMX. Yes, not a “core” brand, but the quality in the chrome, welds, and the extra parts makes it a good option…beats GT, Mongoose, and others IMO.
