Just spoke to the dealer he said the clutch slides in without a press. Of course he has new parts he is working with. Thoughts on this because I thought they had to be pressed as well
I've never had one just slide in. You don't necessarily need a press sometimes I'll use a large vise for this. I think it's a good thing that it's a tight fit, and insures an even rotation in the machine. Thanks for bringing this up!

What about using that deep socket inside a larger sized deep socket?
Good idea! Didn't think of that instead of the rope.
