The Monster Hunter collab is very suprising. I love Monster Hunter World - I've spend well over 1000 hours in that game. :D
So I will certainly pull for the Aerith & Tifa costumes again - I just hope they are in the same banner. (I need a thunder arcanum for my account.)
But they'll probably pair Caith with one of them. (As always.) >.<
The summer costumes for Yuffie and Lucia are also sweet. Hm... I'm not that optimistic anymore when it comes to my crystal savings...

As my 2 favorite series of all time are FF and MH im so hyped. I will be pulling for most if not all costumes. Dont even care for the summer outifts. Will say, while i understand why they chose Kirin (the armor for women is minimum) feel like Brachy wouldve been so good to do for Tifa.
Tifa I feel like could have been a lot of different ones other than Kirin, but I think they want her to be Magic Lightning. That would be my guess

Clouds Weapon - Dino Sword - 850% Non-elemental physical damage to a single enemy, Moderately reduces enemy's physical defence and greatly increases physical attack power when HP is over 50%
Zacks weapon - Jinou Blade - 940% lightning physical damage to a single enemy! When own HP is 70% or more, damage is 1.2x!
Damn Zack's weapon is absolutely insane with that damage, and Cloud's is also pretty top tier tbh!

I had zero clue that the collab was going to be anything other than a FF collab. :o And the fact that it's Monster Hunter has me so excited!! I play Raid, too, and they did a MH collab in January of this year and I loved it. .. I want to get all of the new costumes but, I think I might get Tifa's on aesthetics alone but, I need to see what they do first. I'm so glad they gave us a roadmap! I was hoping we'd get another one. My plan is going to be throwing everything at this collab and then saving up until the first anniversary.

Already know what I am doing saving for 1yr anniversary lb weapons cause I know those weapons will be back every 6 months or unless we get something op like a haste weapon with 50%+ success rate but we will have to wait and see.

That was exactly what we needed to know what is in the pipes. I have a feeling there will also be other small surprises that come along with it. I'm extremely hyped for Vincent and really interested to see him in other costumes. They always get the Store gear in addition to their default costume. Crisis Core chapter 3 finally, I wonder if we will get Aerith's younger costume as a gift? The fact they teased younger Angeal for the anniversary shows something very big.... I wonder if there will be a Genesis Reveal too and if we will get chapters 9 and 10 of First Soldier?
Guilds seems very exciting not sure exactly what we'll see, but I do hope the lower the difficulty level of the story bosses at least a little. I get that they want you to grind and spend time with the game but they are really just too ridiculously difficult. Of course they need to address the stamina issue. They could give us a one time daily refill button which completely restores your stamina but that really wouldn't be enough... we need what I suggested in your other videos.
Not the biggest fan of Monster hunter but I'm open to see how it is as it will attract fans outside FF so I get that. Hopefully they write an interesting subplot. Not going to lie, I kind of want Zack's armor outfit, but like you say, I'm going to wait to see everything that comes. I really wanted Yuffie's ninja outfit but I'm not going to spend 50$ on red crystals for an outfit which leads me to my next point again. They really need to have discounts on their packages at times like half off sale for red crystals. They way it goes, it's about 1 outfit every other month for someone who spends a little bit. I had thought at one time they would at the ability to make outfits stronger?
Also they need to add higher level solo stages for farming memories and higher level items needed for weapons. Such as a Cloud 3, Barret 3 where you can get anywhere from 9 - 12 memories. Another thing would be great would be Premium Item vouchers as prizes from games that allow you another time to farm from the premium items section.
I have to say, with the video NSP just made about trend of games, this model is probably among the most sustainable, they will probably at some point need to develop it further to console at some point to make it even more profitable. This kind of vehicle can allow them to do triple A games with a bit more support.
Wow very nicely said. I agree with you here on all accounts haha. Aerith's younger costume would be really cool and I'm definitely excited for what will come at the 1year concerning First Soldier. There definitely needs to be something done about stamina because honestly i think the problem is just getting worse. For a minute there they were resolving it, but it has become really brutal to the point that i will make a video on it. Maybe let's call them out on HOW MANY stamina pots it will take to max both summon abilities to level 10, and then see how fucked we actually are haha.
I loved MH but yeah i think it is a great thing for bringing in other players and i think its important that EC continue to do that. That being said, i think FF crossovers might become VERY rare now that they have basically opened the gates to the kingdom in terms of collabs. And yeah i really wanted Yuffie's outfit as well, but unfortunately had to skip. Technically would only need 30K red unless EXTREMELY unlucky to get the costume, but that is WAY more than i'm willing to spend for just a single costume tbh.
And yeah, they most definitely need to add new stages for memory farming, weapons, etc. New difficulty levels in all coop fights like armored scorpion etc. These things just need to happen as they are getting stale and for regular coop so very few people actually do them.

It’s been slow though. The game goes through periods of high revenue and low points because gachas revolve around spending for big time banners then saving for periods of a time. But yeah, Vincent is going to be amazing!!
Hoping the monster hunter banners are skippable because honestly going to go all in on Vincent to build his weapon pool and get him into teams right away.

Dont really care for guild but am excited to see all the other stuff. Im going for all those monster hunter skins, even if i dont like MH that much. I think people will seriously miss out on good weapons, like the ff9 weapons if they are too biased
I think unless people can pull minimum OB4 there are a for sure skip. Limited banners are sneaky like that. Tho Cloud’s weapon looks good even at lower OB levels
@BodhiJMSRyder if they have guranteed like the previous banners I say go all in. But for f2p, I think it's better to just get a single copy or even just the 3 star so you can work on it with weapon specific parts. Otherwise, you lose out for probably ever
Nah it isn’t better especially for F2P. Unless the weapon is viable at B5* the amount of time it would take to get 1200 characters specific weapon parts would make the weapon already power crept by the next limited banner. I never suggest to anyone to pull on a limited banner weapon that needs OB6 if they can’t at least get it to OB4 on pulls. 400 char specific parts is doable but 1200 is just nah. I made this mistake with Zidane sword and even dropped 400 parts into it to get it OB3 and now it just rots away.
@@BodhiJMSRyder lol , yea i didn't dump anything into it beyond getting it to 5* . i don't use it often but its fun to mess around and see what i can do with it sometimes . you'd be surprised not that much content needs ob6+ gear . i wouldn't recommend anyone to dump specific parts into anything but limited weapons, and i would hold off on even limited weapons until i have enough to ob6 it
@tfoserauqsevoli Lol yeah I know a lot of content doesn’t need OB6 but certain things do and the Zidane sword was one of them. Trick is knowing which ones will need that before pulling 🙏🏽💯

Yeah it really did!! If you don't have Murasame costume i think Zack's weapon could be good but with it being limited you would need to pull to at LEAST OB4 before stopping and that could hurt. With 3 months you can still recover quite a bit, but yeah there's also Vincent and summer and there's always that rare chance a banner drops that is a MUST HAVE. Kind of what we are always bracing for haha

Nice, I’m probably skipping the monster hunter banners. I have thunder for Cloud, so even though the power in Zack is crazy, it’s not necessary. And while clouds attack buff is nice, I don’t think it’s enough for me to pull. Depends on what they do with Tifa and Aerith though.
I think i might just be right alongside you on this. Unless Zack's is magic. Then its guaranteed pull.

The monster hunter collab, didn’t feel as glamorous as expected. Mostly because thanks to Super Smash Bros Ultimate, we already saw Cloud and Sephiroth fight against Rathalos.
I am happy to see Vincent and by the looks of things chapter 7 of the OG story will also have Red XIII big solo story occur. And it also means we’ll be getting Cid by the end of the year since Rocket town is right after Nibelheim. Although I’m thinking we might see Dirge of Cerberus soon enough now that we got Vincent.
The guild system has gotten me curious and I’ll probably set one up centering on Dio and his hot bod lol

@@BodhiJMSRyder It is small but they have expanded some other optional events in the original. So my expectations were high to have a chapter for Gongaga and Cosmo Canyon and then Niblehiem start the next chapter. After all, Cosmo Canyon is entire arc for Nanaki and deserves having a chapter dedicated to learning about Nanaki and Bugenhagen and planetology.
On the plus side, this probably means we will get the side story for Nanki soon.

It's funny how like, this game will be "here's 1000 crystals"... so? 1/3 of a real event pull, gee thanks. It should always be at least 3000. It's not like 1 pull makes much of a difference anyway, really. It's why we still get people showing up in coop with like 0.3k power hitting so gently they practically heal the enemy. *Not all Gachas are this stingy.
*I have about 60k blues banked, not that they'd last long. Guess I'll save them for Vincent's launch banner weapon/costume. I went all in on Yuffie and mine is awesome now, I did not do the same for Cait Sith and my goodness is he now by a wide margin my weakest character, comically so. I don't want that fate for Vincent.
I think Vincent will get more love for sure, and yeah i think 3K crystals handed out should be a given i agree
I imagine, there already been lots of pre-recruiting for guilds. My biggest concern are obligations. Will there be ridiculous "you must log in between _____ & _____ hours or you will have failed your guild!"?.
My bloat team is plenty powerful, so my profile looks crazy, right? So, I'm sure I'll have some demand for my account but, guilds are such a massive headache. So much drama over nothing.
I mean, that's not been my experience with guilds. Typically, as long as you can login and do your dailies that help the guild and contribute that's all that's required along with bringing a positive mentality. Discord, tho, has always been a requirement for easy communication outside of game
@@BodhiJMSRyder For example, one game I played for a while--horrible game--had a sort of guild battle, every single day and participation was generally a requirement in any guild worth anything at all. Thing is, it was only open for 12 hours of the day and the order of attacks was somewhat important meaning if you check before sleep it may not be opprotune to take your turn, so you have to do it first thing in the morning perhaps. if your time zone didn't align (mine rarely does living in Korea but, playing on western servers/western guilds of games) then, your window was quite small which required prioritizing a phone game over other aspects of one's life.
It's the very same reason I quit playing an MMO called EveryQuest 20 someodd years ago, raid guilds all had very specific required times to play, with roles to fulfill. It's just not healthy.
Quick dailies that can be done during any time within a 24 hour period aren't bad.
You played Everquest?? I played that game for years!!! 2800 hours haha. And do you happen to be talking about WoTV?
@@BodhiJMSRyder I never played WoTV. Nah, tbh and it's almost embarrassing because the game is terrible and its advertising is the worst plague upon the internet there is perhaps, Hero Wars. Absolutely awful game. Although at least it rarely had much benefit in trying to "manual" play what was clearly built to be autobattled--every gacha should choose one or the other rather than being bad at both! like 7EC. imo, building the battle system gound-up for full manual and having an instant auto-calculation for farming purposes should've been how they built this game. Since they rely on a stamina system, it's not like autocalc would exploit much.
I played an awful lot of EverQuest. Mostly on the Tholuxe Paells & eventually it merged into Bertoxxulous before I quit. I spent most my solo/group time 2 boxing a Beastlord & a cleric. Joined a major raiding guild and whew, that ended up spiraling me into averaging like 16 hours a day at my worst lol. I'm sure I broke upwards of 20000 hours in total.
There was an awful lot of bad about that game even during Verant's time but, plenty more with SOE--daybreak's done no better looking at it but, the game was dying long before daybreak tbf. But, there was also a lot of good that is unlikely to ever be replicated in another game. Also, the good old days before every single MMO had specific metas, carefully laid out play guides and raid guilds that demand you play in a very specific, almost automated fashion, building in a very specific fashion. EQ was so much more personal than any mmo since imo, despite the old unimportant cog-in-the-machine feeling the 54 & 72 player raids could give people.

It does have more of a gray color scheme than the blue scheme everywhere else in ever crisis but it could just be relaunch stuff and not be a finalized design yet. I'm not too concerned about a color design personally either way and it does fit other Ff7 themes

@@BodhiJMSRyder I honestly don't have any issues with it, if anything for a while we had too many stamina pots and no good events to use them on so I hoarded only using before they expired. Now that we've gotten a few good events to spend them on I'm down a bit but still have 30-40 left. I think part of it is maybe you look at things from a different perspective, as I've watched your videos you do tend to play differently than other content creators that I also follow so you run into different issues. For example I have 0 issues with gil but you do, and I have nearly all my weapons maxed as well and I barely spend money. So I know whales and dolphins have different issues than f2p or light spenders like myself.
@Mitsunari4Gunz sorry mate but it’s really hard to believe this because I am a very light spender, I don’t have most of my weapons maxed and I barely spend gil yet I find myself out. Also, if you are farming summon abilities above level 5 and still have extra pots then that’s only possible with repeated stamina passes as it takes about 600 stamina potions or up to 1000 to max those abilities.
I never level weapons unless I actually need one and am far more conservative than most. On top of that you’re the only person and I run a discord with almost 500 people now that is saying they have enough gold and stamina lol. Literally the only person.
But either way glad you’re making it work for ya 😁🙏🏽💯 I’ve only ever run out of gil twice now, but stamina is a major problem. If you aren’t leveling summon abilities past 5 then I see where you’re coming from, but the moment you hit that grind all stamina is lost. 😞
@@BodhiJMSRyder I didn't say I had all the summons maxed I just said I didn't have an issue with it. I haven't really pushed maxing Shiva/Leviathan because there hasn't been a need for it, just slowly doing that one and then will blast through when we actually need it. I haven't really spent money other than the first month getting the weekly passes and getting the month ones. Gil has never been an issue tho, I am consistently over 1mill and dip low sometimes but never gone broke or needed it and have 20 or so lvl 110 or higher weapons and most at 80. I farmed quite a bit when we had that awesome event a few months ago.
@Mitsunari4Gunz that’s crazy because I think I have about half your level 110 weapons haha. But yeah the summon abilities are not needed for sure, I do agree with you there. But they used to give us more stamina in game and it has decreased. Especially I noticed it on the green mirage event where I didn’t have the banner weapons it was killing my stamina.

Sorry brother cant share your enthusiasm - Guilds - that is the most toxic and undesirable feature the game could have (outside of yourself and few others I havent seen anyone who wants guilds). MH crossover - stuff looks aesthetically meh if not ugly. Also out of all FF properties they could do such they do with Monster Hunter - really strange and disappointing. No mention of much needed permanent game mode with actual gameplay - just more spending and grind. No way to reliably farm GIL, memories and Stamina is a HUGE bottleneck.
I mean, i know that sometimes guilds can be super toxic, but that hasn't been my experience. We'll be running multiple guilds with fair balance between whales/dolphins/f2p and we maintain a healthy positive mindset. Being the best is not our priority, it is ensuring a fun place to players to grow stronger together. That being said, when guilds go wrong, yeah, it sucks. But that's why i lead my own.
As for MH haha, Cloud does look a bit funky, but i love the Zinogre look on Zack, just wish the sword was cooler =) Either way if Zack's is magic lightning that would be freaking phenomenal. And yeah, out of blue with MH i would have preferred 16 tbh, but it is what it is. It shows they are opening up to things outside FF which is interesting.
We'll have to wait to see, but yeah you're voicing all super valid concerns that need to be addressed, but yeah i do think they will address them. We'll have to see what their english recap says tomorrow, hopefully, they talk about stamina and gold.

I'm so hype for everything. Guilds is great, more crossovers are always cool though I'm most excited for ff10 to eventually happen, and the ability to open the app three times a day and get everything done feels good.

I think he's just sharing his feelings that it's not quite what he was looking for which is alright, because i don't think Damian said this in a way that is like knifing anyone. And he does make some good points about the stamina and gold, tbh those things do really need to be addressed.

A little prickish at times, but deep down he’s just trying to fit into a big world. Unfortunately his character fell flat in the end, but what can you do, not all chars are meant to become something great 😁🙏🏽💯
