I like the banner (especially the appearance of Cloud's sword) but I don't feel like I need any of the weapons/outfits (no "OMG! I NEED THIS!" vibes). So for me it is 'Better safe than sorry' for now. Waiting until the end of Limit Break event with pulling on banners was best decision for me. So for sure I will wait at least until next banner, and see what they will give us. Thanks for the video!
Although we are getting a whole lot of Blue Crystals right now (plus the free 10 draw), I'm gonna wait till the end of the event to decide if I pull on anything (saw from the email that SQEX sent that Tifa and Aerith are getting garbs + weapons).
My main team is Cloud/Tifa/Barret so I'm going to end up pulling on both banners. Pulled the 1st card on this banner because the weapon is killer and I missed out on Cloud's FF9 outfit and slotting in elemental outfits feels booty on fights when I can't pick on a weakness. Will most likely continue pulling for the 2 guaranteed copies on Stamp 16 & 20 down the line, but I want to have enough crystals stocked up to jump on Tifa's outfit right away if it's solid. I also use Aerith as a flex 4th for magic damage, so I'm not against pulling to 24 on that banner if it's worth it.
Definitely nice to see something like this after missing the FF9 weapon! I'm happy for you! And yeah, pulling through card 2 seems like a near must because of the added value; I feel you!
So I decided before the banner drop that I was going to most likely skip this crossover event and save 💎 The biggest reason for this is that I’m pulling for Yuffie’s Summer outfit no matter what as well as Vincent’s release banner. As you mentioned, the Cloud weapon is very good! As it stands, this weapon now is his best secondary weapon for pure DPS builds… Problem is I’m not the biggest fan of his armor both aesthetically and R.Ability wise. Like the R.Abilities aren’t bad by any means but as you mentioned it’s not difficult to build PATK up so would rather have seen something else. The plus side I suppose is that you only need one maxed out weapon with at least 45 pts of PATK in your mainhand to be completely done with PATK. But yeah at the end of the day I don’t necessarily need the buffs this weapon gives if I already run Cloud with characters who provide those buffs like Yuffie (I have OB7 Artic Star) so the buff from the weapon doesn’t exactly help all that much for me and I have multiple sources of PDEF down if need be as well. This weapon does consolidate things and is still good regardless of what I mentioned but yeah, doesn’t exactly scream “PULL” for me. Admittedly I’m lowkey sad tho, since I have every Cloud costume up to this point so it’ll hurt my “collector’s pride” but it can’t be helped as a low spender… Ultimately we’ll see by the end of the event though… I’m curious what Aerith’s next costume will bring as I’d like to see her go back to getting more “support” type gear as I need that more considering the hard fights have been getting harder. Outside of that like, like I mentioned, the plan is to save for next month.
Was just talking about Aerith this morning in the disc... she definitely need some help now in the healing/support category since they've given matt SO many great weapons for this. It makes me sad for her! Re Cloud, it's hilarious that you aren't a fan of this armor but loved that yuffie costume! haha we on opposite ends of the spectrum! Do you think they will ever increase the cap on PATK etc? Seems like they need to at some point so we can still enjoy some of these weapons!
@@Nitelight9 Haha that is funny that you mention it (in regards to the taste in costumes) speaking of, I always find it funny that you seemingly always dislike Zack’s costumes (with few exceptions) I really like Zack’s Costume look! I will say I like Clouds color scheme but just not a fan of the breast plate being so far pushed up that it sorta looks like a bra (sorry if I ruin it for you now) 🤣 But yeah, with regard to PATK increase… It’s entirely possible but realistically I don’t see them doing it for a long while. I think I they’ll introduce more newer R.Abilities before that, like we see with the PATK/MATK party R.Abilities. I can see eventually as they increase the level cap of weapons we’ll probably need to increase the R.Ability cap, since we’ll get to a point one weapon in the main hand can cap an R.Ability by itself lol.
I spent everything i had for this and even some of my hard earned money because the costume is a must have if you own the zidane sword or can raise your PATK and PHYS ABILITY POTENCY to level 7. The physical mastery is just too good especially with OB6 glavenous and OB10 Zidane sword. It feels like i have arcanum agaisnt everything that isnt resisting physical, but just the sword and costume by themselves is gonna help anyone that doesn't own all the Arcanums BUT you gotta keep in mind that you need to get the glavenous sword to OB6 for the full potential. Don't bother with this unless you can get the sword to OB6. Regular weapons are going to raise your R abilities more than the glavenous sword and can make you more powerful than the buff/debuff you get from glavenous. There is only 2 costumes so far with the physical mastery and they were both from limited banners so they might be worth if you dont have any Arcanums. They're worst than costumes with masteries(20 %) or Arcanum (35%) but the 15% is good agaisn't EVERYTHING that isn't resisting physical. So for the daulphins, whales and minnows that pulled on the Zidane sword this is a must pull.
@@Darloud The Glavenous Sword help with everything related to PATK so it will help with Murasame, Skysplitter etc. I say OB6 is recommended because you get the full buff/debuff with the sword C. Ability for 30 seconds, plus a good amount of R Abilities. Still a great weapon if you don't get it to OB6 but the buff is capped at potency mid for only 25 seconds and deals 190% less DMG and since this is limited to this MH event you'll have to spend a lot of Specific weapon parts to raise its OB level.
I did 4 Pulls (7 Stamps) and I got 1 Syringe Rapier, 1 Zinogre Blade, and 2 Glavenous Sword. I've already got OB10 Marasume and Outfit, so I'll be holding onto crystals from here. I definitely prefer Zack's armor and sword looks wise.
If I've learned one thing from doing these vids, it's that beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder! I'm glad you like Zack's stuff! Also, seems pretty awesome what you got in only 4 pulls!
@@Nitelight9 I think my leaning to Zack over Cloud's outfit is Zack's feels more complete. Cloud feels like they just stuck some little red and blue pieces on him, whereas Zack's armor feels complete.
@@Nitelight9 It's nice that they've been releasing weapons that still have some utility at base 5*. Makes it a lot easier on the crystals and at least still gives me some options even if they're not the best possible version of the weapon(s).
As a tifa main ill be looking at this banner after i get her stuff (doesn't matter of its broken or just good) then more then likely ill go for his costume....i think its better for players to pick and choose what kind of a account they going to have ..mines is straight physical
That's an interesting strat to go for an acc based on one or the other. Feast or famine style. I've considered it a couple of times, not in this exact context but similar.

I feel kinda bad that I've been neglecting Zack so much. At this point in game, I don't need costumes for cloud. But I am aiming for the Glav Sword. Would it make sense to aim for OB6 Glav Sword, but get Zacks costume, in case he has another thunder weapon in the future?
Sorry, I just saw this. I personally would want to go for the costume and weapon of the same character, but costumes in this game last MUCH longer than weapons before powercreep, so if you prefer to get Zack's, I think that is a fine idea!

@Nitelight9 Tarutaru for life! The game is so underrated and idk why! I loved it but it consumed years of my life haha. I leveled so many jobs but when that last expansion came (I forget the name) it ruined it for me lol. The weapons you had to spend forever farming like relic just became completely underpowered. My relics were useless lol.

Did you ever complete the entire story? Bc I cried when I finally completed it. It was so emotional for me because I had not completed it back in the day. i think people haven't noticed but that is literally dark knight cecil armor but recolored lol. anyway, i think if people are maining cloud, they should get a copy of his weapon . it's basically a better version of amarant claws. and if you guys were using tifa and not able to clear the last crash . . it was damn near impossible without amarant claw. just see for yourself what it took for me to clear the last crash solo
@@Nitelight9 even at ob1 it will do good so i think f2p will sleep on a good weapon . zacks weapon is just overkill at this point , there is nothing atm that needs that ludicrous amount of lightning damage . only reason i pull is my main account is solely for limited weapon building . my alts are there just for fun , but lately theres been too much to do so i haven't been playing them as much

Holding for now. I have 50K crystals so I’m like… not in the best spot. Cloud is a staple in my party, and his weapon seems like the bee’s knees in the off-hand. I have an OB10 Murasame and an OB10 Skysplitter that I tend to run which largely makes the PATK a dead stat… something like this at OB6 at least would be phenomenal utility. I also don’t have a non-elemental, phys damage costume for Cloud. I have his fire, lightning, ice, water mastery.. so this would be nice for versatilities sake on my most primary DPS unit. Zack, I’m torn. Something I don’t hear a lot of EC pundits talk about is having, the characters from each main story, decently built, to progress those stories steadily and complete Extra challenges. My Zack unit from a costume and versatility perspective is pretty weak. I have his default, his beach shorts, and his voucher costume. So something like this would really ratchet him up for how he sits in my account.. but idk.

@@Nitelight9 I do and that’s exactly why I’m hesitant lol. I legit have a Tifa with OB10 Guide Gloves and OB5 Amarant Claws with the Guide costume. I main Matt, Cloud and Seph (usually ice, or wind with an OB2 Kuja sword if the off) but in certain scenarios I’ll swap him for that Tifa.

It is. It feels like the end of an era to have Lightning God Cloud eclipsed. But that was basically the very first weapon we all wanted on day 1, so I guess it was inevitable. But I totally feel you.

There's a msg in the notices about them, but it's not super clear. I feel like it can be converted to a 10 pull of some sort, but I think I'm going to use mine at some point during this crossover just to be safe.
The red/blue looks kinda tacky like a Fort Condor soldier and the bra armor ain't doing it for me. While it'd be nice to have a generalist gear for Cloud, I have so many arcanums for him that I'll prolly skip it just because how bad it looks.
@@Nitelight9 624% OB0 vs OB6 Murasame 620%, ob1 beats ob10 murasame, which is kinda annoying but it is what it is. I've met a whaled Zack in Leviathan coop who hit for 240k, absurd.
Skipping as I already have character specific weapon voucher uses for both Cloud (Zidanes Sword) and Zack (FlameBlade). Its shit but im comitted and these banners aint shit without OB6. Also committed with Tifa (Claws) so will consider pulling for Aerith if costume is equally good as her weapon.
Personally i just skip for now. Grab a magic dealer and grind tsthalos by depleting his gauge first, to gain extra loot. Otherwise the game seems to change its direction finally. Its crazy how generous they suddenly became. I had an income of 11k blue crystals in 1 day!
@Nitelight9 I think they finally noticed that players are unhappy with the games state. Personally I was always on the edge of quiting too, but was kinda just to deep in it to just stop doing dailies. Even acknowledging that stamina is am issue again surprised me a lot. Instead of a "just deal with it" or "buy stamina pass" we got a lot of free tonics aswell. I think we can expect more QoL in future updates

Yeah this would make you hit so hard with zidanes! Especially now that people are getting to 6-7k patk, add 30% to that and that's near 10k patk!!
I have zidan only ob1. Shoud i pull to ob ⁶ or 10 to this or its not make any sense? Have ob 10 murasama and skysplitter and ob7 icy limit weapon.

There's a msg in the notices about them, but it's not super clear. I feel like it can be converted to a 10 pull of some sort, but I think I'm going to use mine at some point during this crossover just to be safe.
The red/blue looks kinda tacky like a Fort Condor soldier and the bra armor ain't doing it for me. While it'd be nice to have a generalist gear for Cloud, I have so many arcanums for him that I'll prolly skip it just because how bad it looks.

I've met a whaled Zack in Leviathan coop who hit for 240k, absurd.

Skipping as I already have character specific weapon voucher uses for both Cloud (Zidanes Sword) and Zack (FlameBlade). Its shit but im comitted and these banners aint shit without OB6. Also committed with Tifa (Claws) so will consider pulling for Aerith if costume is equally good as her weapon.
Totally understand how you feel re: OB6 or bust. I'm likely skipping this one as well, excited to see what tifa and aerith get.
Personally i just skip for now. Grab a magic dealer and grind tsthalos by depleting his gauge first, to gain extra loot.
Otherwise the game seems to change its direction finally. Its crazy how generous they suddenly became. I had an income of 11k blue crystals in 1 day!
Yeah, they are giving away SO many blue crystals! It's like FF7 EC Rebirth!
@Nitelight9 I think they finally noticed that players are unhappy with the games state. Personally I was always on the edge of quiting too, but was kinda just to deep in it to just stop doing dailies.
Even acknowledging that stamina is am issue again surprised me a lot. Instead of a "just deal with it" or "buy stamina pass" we got a lot of free tonics aswell. I think we can expect more QoL in future updates
