I'll never forget when I said "man look at the curves on that woman" and my dad and brothers mind was blown xause they had never seen her in the horse 🤣
Still trips me out to see him play a Les Paul after seeing so much of him playing a Strat. Still sound amazing after all these years!! Keep it groovy and get down to Swing Town!
I would very much like to say thank you for posting this. I am a huge Steve Miller fan. I was seven years old and this song came out. And I’ve loved it since the first time I heard it. He is an awesome singer and guitar player. Again thank you for posting this. It doesn’t sound like the man has missed a beat. It’s voice still sounds good.
I was 8 in 1977 and my dad was visiting his buddies house and his 12 year old son pulled out the 8 track tape of book of dreams and started bragging about the new Steve Miller album and some girl at school he said "hi" to.
‘Funky shit goin down in the city’. Has to be in the top 10 greatest song lyrics EVER!!! I remember on the radio, they played the ‘family’ version which says ‘kicks’ instead. All of my friend and I would scream ‘SHIT’ at the top of our lungs. Hahaha!
Thanks for posting Sean , still going strong at 76 ,the man's a legend . Last time I saw him in concert was way back in the 80's in Liverpool , one of my top concerts.
Haven't popped in a Steve Miller CD in a couple of decades, sorry to say. Wore this vinyl album & cassette out a couple of times. Steve was one of the very best of his day. If he came to town tomorrow I'd go to see him. When I get home I'm going to pull a couple of his CD's out. It's going to be a good night.
To this comment I can fully agree. I just heard of Paul Pena last night. I've listened to his Jet Airliner about 6 times. I saw his Conan performance from 2001, and watched Genghis Blues. Basically, it's been all Paul Pena since about 10 PM last night.
Hey! Thanks so very much for posting this up, it’s a fantastic version of Steve doing this live, really together vocals and guitars. This is so good, you made a great job of capturing it Sean 👌. Thanks so much and best wishes to you from Northern Ireland ☘️🌠🌌👍
Sean Roche Will check out the Allmans later thanks. Keep your head up, the world ain’t over yet. When people catch on to the false media and Globalist agenda we can hopefully all stand together against evil and corruption. Peace ✌️ 🌠💕🌌🕊🌅

It’s hard to believe that that song is 43 years old. It still sounds better than anything on the radio today.

Les Paul taught him to play as his neighbor, presented him that guitar personally..

If you like Steve's cover, you should hear the original version by Paul Pena.

Hello..what camera/corder/phone do you use?
