    Wish it had a 6 speed transmission and lighting coil. AWESOME bike just needs 2 items

      I 100% agree! The 5 speed has to be negotiated with when doing tight stuff

      I have a 23 250fx with a 6 speed, first gear is useless even when I’m in the super slow technical rocks I’m in second. I don’t know I just find it pointless

      I love the 5 speed.. the gear sizes make it so much more practical.

      Let me know what you think of it! They're super fun bikes. I just wish they were more oriented for what they're marketed at.

      @@NeatVibes96 I have one… I think they are built better than what everyone thinks… they have better suspension then the R does… and it corners like a boss. You get used to the bigger gears and the 5 speed… I wouldnt want a 6 speed… it’s a bike that’s geared for everyone… it’s literally made for everything from a farmers field and the track hitting triples.

    lol i am 6’2” also, and i am totally new to bikes i was getting worried that the lower cc bikes (compared to the 400cc range) wouldn’t be enough but it looks pretty good to me.. you don’t have to answer it’s a little personal, but how much do you weigh? thanks again man

    • @NeatVibes96
      @NeatVibes96  20 дней назад

      im a skinny guy, i weigh around 135 at 6'2. however i have friends who are 220+ and ride 250's NO problem at all.

    • @NeatVibes96
      @NeatVibes96  20 дней назад

      if you're comparing dirt bikes to street bikes, a 400c street bike doesn't come anywhere near the torque a 250 dirt bike has. dirt bikes have an insane amount of torque because they aren't setup for speed.

    This bike is great, I just did a test ride review on my friends 2020 crf250rx and I currently ride a 22 gasgas ex250 2 stroke. Handles everything my 2 stroke did, felt better in some areas. I am curious how the 24 model compares to the 2020 and what revisions Honda made after 2022. Great review btw.

    • @NeatVibes96
      @NeatVibes96  10 месяцев назад +1

      I can't imagine any major revisions from past models, since it's still got a crappy 5 speed transmission, stiff suspension, and aluminum frame. I also ride a ex250 2 stroke 23 model. I love it.

    This in the Enduro edition together with KTM's ECX-F is one of the only only 4 stroke dirt bikes that can be registered for road use from factory. Yours is not the registered model (no lights no mirrors no plate carrier), which one would you recommend for more casual trail riding?

    • @NeatVibes96
      @NeatVibes96  Месяц назад

      if youre doing casual trail riding, and dont want to break the bank on a top of the line bike. I would suggest getting the crf230f or ttr230. both are good bikes. however if you find yourself wanting to have a bit more power, I would suggest the yz250fx or ktms/gasgas equivalent like the ex 250 f

  • @JesusPrince99

    So I’ve ridden quads in the past but I would like to get a 250 but don’t know the difference between the 250F and the 250RX

    • @NeatVibes96
      @NeatVibes96  5 месяцев назад

      so basically the 250rx will be better for everything all around including moto track riding. whereas the F is good for just about trail riding and is not AS capable when it comes to bumps jumps and over all ability of it!~

    • @JesusPrince99
      @JesusPrince99 5 месяцев назад +2

      @@NeatVibes96 okay so probably the 250rx would be better for the dunes desert or glamis

    • @NeatVibes96
      @NeatVibes96  3 месяца назад +1

      you can adjust the preload of the spring to make up for difference in height. I do have short friends who are your height or less and can manage a full size bike just fine. in the end it all just comes down to practice!~

      I'm 5'7" with this bike, shaved the seat and it's fine. you might notice it if you ride a lot of gnarly stuff but it's not like there are any smaller bikes in this category anyways. you get used to it.

    Seriously considering this bike but I’m 5’9”. Is there a good work around to lower it some?

    • @NeatVibes96
      @NeatVibes96  10 месяцев назад +1

      Adjust sag properly, drop the forks. Or buy a linkage lowering kit. 5'9 is plenty tall for riding this bike! I have friends who are 5'5 that ride bikes just as bike with no issues!

    • @jub07
      @jub07 9 месяцев назад +2

      If you've ridden other bikes, it'll be just fine. If you've never ridden a dirtbike before, these things are pretty high strung. Starting on a trail bike, like a used CRF230F or something would be better to learn. Motocross based bikes are intimidating to people who have never ridden before. Height wise, you'll be fine. Many a person shorter than you rides this size bike. You have options to lower it or you can learn to work around it. I think being shorter helped force me to keep my feet on the pegs and just keep momentum through stuff. I was like 5'6 125 lbs. soaking wet the first time I rode a bike this size. You'll be alright, lol.
