Просмотров 3,5 тыс.Год назад
Today I will be riding and reviewing the all new 2024 GasGas ex350f, some things i may have forgotten to mention about the bike is that this is the first year that they went with a more sleek look by making all of the plastics have no bolt holes, even including the front number plate. the bike also comes factory equipped with brake tech brakes and clutch instead of brembo brakes. Please leave a...

AT 81 is crap in Ohio / KY ....lol
couldnt agree more. one of the worst tires ive ridden on.
lol i am 6’2” also, and i am totally new to bikes i was getting worried that the lower cc bikes (compared to the 400cc range) wouldn’t be enough but it looks pretty good to me.. you don’t have to answer it’s a little personal, but how much do you weigh? thanks again man
im a skinny guy, i weigh around 135 at 6'2. however i have friends who are 220+ and ride 250's NO problem at all.
if you're comparing dirt bikes to street bikes, a 400c street bike doesn't come anywhere near the torque a 250 dirt bike has. dirt bikes have an insane amount of torque because they aren't setup for speed.
has air forks or sprig forks?
2024 GasGas has conventional forks aka spring forks!~
@@NeatVibes96 thank you for your answer.
Where is this location, looks awesome
This is in Socorro New Mexico!~
Hi, did you ever had the chance to compare it with a ktm xc tpi ? Thanks
This bike is also TPI, just as the 2022-previous ktms were. it rides just like a ktm. they are all the same bikes just with different plastics and colors in the end~!
Thanks for your answer, yeah I know they are the same on papers but sometimes it s different when you ride it...@@NeatVibes96
This in the Enduro edition together with KTM's ECX-F is one of the only only 4 stroke dirt bikes that can be registered for road use from factory. Yours is not the registered model (no lights no mirrors no plate carrier), which one would you recommend for more casual trail riding?
if youre doing casual trail riding, and dont want to break the bank on a top of the line bike. I would suggest getting the crf230f or ttr230. both are good bikes. however if you find yourself wanting to have a bit more power, I would suggest the yz250fx or ktms/gasgas equivalent like the ex 250 f
These are great bikes, I have owned one for a couple of years and it's great!
Good to give your comments after riding ... I realize this is probably not your first time riding the bike, but that's the format I see most often and it seems to make sense to me.
Shoot I’m looking into getting this bike but I am short I’m 5’5 -5’6 ish do you think I’d struggle with it being tall
you can adjust the preload of the spring to make up for difference in height. I do have short friends who are your height or less and can manage a full size bike just fine. in the end it all just comes down to practice!~
@@NeatVibes96 thank you for your reply that makes feel better with my short king problems 😂
No bro you’re totally good. My cousin and I are both 5’7 and I ride an rx and he rides a yz125 which is barely taller
I'm 5'7" with this bike, shaved the seat and it's fine. you might notice it if you ride a lot of gnarly stuff but it's not like there are any smaller bikes in this category anyways. you get used to it.
Does it have a key to start it?
No, it is an off-road use bike only hence it wont have a key. Its push button start only.
@@NeatVibes96 fuel injected?
@@MilesG6010 Yes it is fuel injected~
hey man just fyi i would replace the belt while ur in there a new gates 1 off grimmspeed costs 20 bucks or a whole new kit with all new timing stuff and a waterpump is 150 on rockauto its great preventative maintenance and can save u from a snapped belt or failed bearings in the longrun especially sense the previous owner didnt seem to do the waterpump and he probably didnt do the bearings or belt ithor and they should all be replaced after 100k or 10 years good vid tho! reach out
If you've watched the video you can see that the belt had already been replaced with a gates belt kit. But I appreciate the feedback! The car is now back together with new gaskets, water pump, and covers!
FORNITE MONKEY BOOGIEBOMB?!?!?!?!?!??!?!
So I’ve ridden quads in the past but I would like to get a 250 but don’t know the difference between the 250F and the 250RX
so basically the 250rx will be better for everything all around including moto track riding. whereas the F is good for just about trail riding and is not AS capable when it comes to bumps jumps and over all ability of it!~
@@NeatVibes96 okay so probably the 250rx would be better for the dunes desert or glamis
@@NeatVibes96 thanks for the help by the way
HOW OFTEN DO YOU MAINTENANCE THE BIKE, air filter, lubing the chain, and changing oil
oil change every 10 hours, air filter just depends. if I'm riding in woods I wont need to clean it nearly as often as desert riding. and I lube the chain after every time I pressure wash the bike!~
@MotoVibes96 appreciate it thanks!
YOU FORGOT LAUNCH CONTROL
youre right! i did forget to go into detail on that. It works GREAT though!
Nice review, I rode one the other day and came to the same conclusions. I've spent most of my life on a bike, (I'm 53) and will definitely be picking one up
I hope you enjoy it!
What is this place ?!
Its In Socorro New Mexico!~
What brand skid plate did you get. Is it for a 2023 ktm sxf-350?
Im not sure actually, if you check on rocky mountain atv they should tell you what fits your bike!~
Great test man, I'd just see if you can improve the audio while moving at speed. Ditch the bar raisers, you won't see a single pro running them, even david knight is 6'4 and has never run them. Wrecks the turning. Do some back to back testing and you'll see.
i really appreciate the feedback! i run bar risers to negate muscle soreness. im looking into drop pegs.
The R model has mapping and launch control too
Thnx for the ride and info. Solid work!
The 2024 has some major improvements…ones that will provide better oil circulation and camshaft strength and durability… major improvements
Thanks for the video. Looking at picking up an ex or ec 250 soon. They both seem great, so probably whatever I can find the best deal on!
if youre in the states its most likely youll find a ex, but hey both are phenomenal bikes and have plenty of potential!~
This bike is great, I just did a test ride review on my friends 2020 crf250rx and I currently ride a 22 gasgas ex250 2 stroke. Handles everything my 2 stroke did, felt better in some areas. I am curious how the 24 model compares to the 2020 and what revisions Honda made after 2022. Great review btw.
I can't imagine any major revisions from past models, since it's still got a crappy 5 speed transmission, stiff suspension, and aluminum frame. I also ride a ex250 2 stroke 23 model. I love it.
"promosm"
Seriously considering this bike but I’m 5’9”. Is there a good work around to lower it some?
Adjust sag properly, drop the forks. Or buy a linkage lowering kit. 5'9 is plenty tall for riding this bike! I have friends who are 5'5 that ride bikes just as bike with no issues!
If you've ridden other bikes, it'll be just fine. If you've never ridden a dirtbike before, these things are pretty high strung. Starting on a trail bike, like a used CRF230F or something would be better to learn. Motocross based bikes are intimidating to people who have never ridden before. Height wise, you'll be fine. Many a person shorter than you rides this size bike. You have options to lower it or you can learn to work around it. I think being shorter helped force me to keep my feet on the pegs and just keep momentum through stuff. I was like 5'6 125 lbs. soaking wet the first time I rode a bike this size. You'll be alright, lol.
I wish I was 5'9" haha I have a 22 model I race stock height no issues. It's tippy toes but you are 3" taller should be perfect. You are average height of merican
Daum I feel bad for the biker
Wall??
Another pissed off home owner thinking they bought out rural so no one can ride a trail that’s been there for 40 yrs by their house. It’s actually booby trapping and is illegal even if it’s on their property and most road’s even some trails are an easement
Or a new homeowner that bought this property and are tired of trespassers thinking it's public just because the previous owner didn't care for the last 40 years.... No, most trails are NOT part of an easement. You're dumb as fuck.... Only if you idiots had this much energy going against the federal government shutting down public lands.....
Thinking about switching to the new ex350. Iv been racing an ex300 and find it not as easy in the rough terrain.
I'll tell ya that the ex300 will be alot easier in the low speed tighter stuff, however if you find yourself at higher speed more open terrain, the ex350 you just can't beat. It's an exceptional bike and quite tame for being what it is
@NeatVibes96 i race harescrambles so thats why im thinking 350. The 300 I find myself getting squirrely and doesn't do too well when the course runs through motocross tracks
@sshipmanrider96 the 350 will definitely prove to be more consistent if that's the riding you're doing!
Мне кажется, или со звуком что-то?
👍
Bro behind the camera is breathing hard af
He was wearing a helmet and mask, but thank you for the feedback
Just picked mine up today, can't wait for this weekend
Let me know what you think of it! They're super fun bikes. I just wish they were more oriented for what they're marketed at.
@@NeatVibes96 I have one… I think they are built better than what everyone thinks… they have better suspension then the R does… and it corners like a boss. You get used to the bigger gears and the 5 speed… I wouldnt want a 6 speed… it’s a bike that’s geared for everyone… it’s literally made for everything from a farmers field and the track hitting triples.
The bike is phenomenal
Wish it had a 6 speed transmission and lighting coil. AWESOME bike just needs 2 items
I 100% agree! The 5 speed has to be negotiated with when doing tight stuff
That would be cool!
I have a 23 250fx with a 6 speed, first gear is useless even when I’m in the super slow technical rocks I’m in second. I don’t know I just find it pointless
I love the 5 speed.. the gear sizes make it so much more practical.
Heat wrapping the exhaust🤢🤮
Would agree that it isn't the best or prettiest option. But it definitely helps in keeping the tempatures down!
@@NeatVibes96 Generally this is used on Harley's to stop yourself from being burnt. I’m sure you can get a small guard, used to have one on my CRF250 2006 maybe you could get something like that. Owning a bike is as much about practicing engineering, you get better with time.
They make nice universal guards in various sizes. Free of pant burn since my purchase. WPS catalog.
Im 5’10 just imagine what I gotta do to sit on it right and your 6 foot tippy toeing Jesus 😂
my friend is 50lbs heavier than I am so the bike doesnt sag accordingly to my weight. but yeah its definitely on the taller side of bikes ive ridden 😂
