That pillow is an AMAZING gift! I received a pillow made from one of my dad's shirts several years ago. It is one of my most favorite gifts ever❤. The bucket will be freaking great as a flower pot! You will need to show us next summer!

Your cardi is great! Love how Brite it is. You have been doing a lot. My favorite aunt who was also my best friend took a bunch of my uncles shirts (he was awesome too) and had memory pillows made from them. I love it. It's always great to see you.
Your aunt had the right idea. Some people are taken away from us when we are not ready and those pillows give us comfort

Love your pillow idea ... my dad died too early (43) & I kept his bathrobe until it was in tatters [I wore it]. Really like your "Setta's Sweater" ~ & will try to make a hip-length one.

I think I’ve mentioned this to you before somewhere that I have an old baby blanket of mine that is very precious to me that I’m hoping I find it soon and have you turn it into a fabulous tote bag for me 😊 I then can always have something special that reminds me of my mom with me always. And you know how much I love all your scrappy totes you have made me already. The several I have you made me are my absolute favorite bags I own and I have lots of bags too. 😜
So I really hope once I find my blanket you wouldn’t mind doing that for me sometime. ☺️🥰

There are so many patterns for hexi sweaters. Mine always were short in the back and wide armed. I love yours!
I made the hexie big enough just to go around my armpit area and then joined. I didn't want it to pouffy

oh I am so sorry to hear that you are in a crochet glitch....whenever I get like that, I just make granny squares. Nothing to crazy or hard, and then eventually (and probably a long time later) I piece them all together for a blanket
The blanket and cardigan are gorgeous. That's great you found a long arm quilter and so close to you. We have two wool farms around 10 mins away from us. They hold events sometimes with different artisans and their yarn on sale. They have one coming up I can't wait to go to. Love the pillow you made for your friend. That's such wonderful gift. I have a couple of tops of my mom's I'm going to do the same thing with. A bit of my mom close to me to hug.❤

Hi Deb! Your thrifted items are so cool. I love all three. Your work is always on point, but that cardigan is fabulous. I'm up in Ajax and our Michaels sells packs of buttons. I think 6 in each. The buttons are fairly large and come in 2 colourways. One primary colours and one has bright colours, just like the Gnome colours. I've bought them before. Check out your Michael's. See you in the next video 😊
yes, I have a package of those buttons but its in red which really doesn't go with the colours in the sweater (or maybe it does 😁) so the next time I travel to my nearest Michaels, I will look to see what other colours they carry

your should try the hexie cardi. If you like the granny stitch, then it is easy. The hardest part (and its not that hard) is folding the hexie in the correct way

😁😁awesome! Just remember it is a #3 yarn and I used a 4mm hook but it did not feel like I was working with thinner yarn. It felt great
If you find any thing wearable in crochet or knit. You can put it inside a pillow case. And put it in the washing machine with vinegar. This even works on smoke smell. Hope this helps.😊

Love her pattern for the sweater. I avoided making one, as I though the sleeves were too poofy. Setta's pattern looks nice. What size hook did you use for your chunky blanket? Love the pillow from the shirts.
I am not overly keep on a puffy sleeve either. So I just did enough rounds to go around my pit area and then the sleeves were a little more closer to my arms.
I used a 9mm crochet hook for the blanket

The idea of making hexagons seem a little daunting to me...THe ja kets are cool and trendy, but I dont follow trends. I loathe conformity.
