My grandma was looking through her basement and found HER grandma's old crochet stuff. So right now I am making a blanket using my great great grandma's crochet pattern!!!! So cool to kinda remake history
My grandma passed away awhile back but my grandpa was cleaning out the house and found all of her crocheting&knitting plus more! I taught myself through RUclips channels. These videos are so helpful for inspiration in the beginning and learning new techniques
Thank you for this and your other pattern compilation videos. You made a comment that you were born in the wrong era, but I think you are in just the right one. I am old enough to remember crocheting in the 80s and the 90s. Everyone looked at me like I was weird for doing such an outdated craft. You are at the perfect age to appreciate the resurgence of crocheted fashion.
i was feeling off of crafting lately but finally i’m so inspired again to do a bunch of projects from these 50 patterns videos you’ve been making. thank you so much for all your hard work!!
Just want to say I love your content so much! Every video leaves me so inspired that I have to add like 30 extra projects to my list hahaha, and totally agree, vintage 70s crochet is to DIE for! 2023 fashion could never
Once I saw the butterfly pillow, I could not resist. Instant purchase! I love love love all of the hard work and deducation you put into these videos. Thank you so much!
Oh my gosh, I was recently at a local antique store and bought that exact same rose afghan! Whomever made it used a pale pink instead of the dark, but it’s the exact same as the pattern. Bonus, now I know about how old the afghan is (30-ish yrs.). Bonus-bonus, I bought it for what felt like a literal steal: it was only $20.
Cool that’s just how I have my vintage magazines wish I could find more ❤I love vintage patterns though they are quite hard to read or find the right yarn/hooks for but so interesting
I am older… my mum made me a dress of a crocheter top and straps and fabric bottom to use at our summer place in the country. I loved it because it kept stretching and growing with me 😅 Crocheted top was orange color and the fabric had oranges with the leafs, it was sooo summery!
thank you for sharing all of these patterns!! I'm obsessed with the gazebo one and might just make it. something that freaking cute has no business not having a pattern online already omg
I've been going back and forth on if I wanted to leave a comment since I first saw this video, and I feel like I can maybe articulate my point ok right now, so I'll try. I hope you don't take this as me being judgy and critical, I'm just pointing out something I have been caught up on. I'm not sure how I feel about someone profiting off of redistributing scans of old patterns. I think Etsy has the vintage policy for people reselling physical items that are vintage, rather than reproducing them over and over digitally for profit. The way I always saw it was that either you make handmade items or sell supplies, or you sell physical vintage items, that are not endlessly reproducible like a digital scan OF a vintage item. If I were in this position I would have uploaded the scans for free and opened up a tip jar for people to give me money for the work of scanning and uploading. But to sell these patterns over and over, it doesn't feel in the spirit of the "vintage item" Etsy policy.
i totally understand that! the vintage item policy actually applies to vintage photos (digital downloads) as well as vintage pattern (digital downloads) and vintage items (physical items like you brought up) because these works are discontinued i wanted to make a lot available for anyone who wants one! i kept the listing very cheap, after etsy fees i don’t make a profit, i was just using etsy because it’s the only platform i am familiar with and use on a daily basis! i can easily message people if there’s a download issue or they need clarification on something through etsy. I get where you are coming from tho i have similar feelings about it at the moment. i am working on switching over to a free download type site i just haven’t had the free time to look into it but that’s the goal!
hey!! i love your videos so much and the effort you put into making them, it's amazing!! i'd really love to see a crochet ideas with leftover yarn video if that's something you'd like to make!! anyways love your work sm💘
Oh my gosh these are amazing. I have so many of these I wanna make now and I only just started my first ever crochet project 😅😂 on my wanna do list they go 😂 Especially the 1930s Pierrot Blouse, the 1970s black (or is it brown?) and yellow vest (except mine's gonna be dark brown and olive green), the 1990s Daisy kitchen set, butterfly pillow and the rose afghan stole my heart!!
This video is excellent. I took a trip down memory lane. My Grams always crochet the latest fad for me. There's a sweater on here that I might attempt to make.
Hey Girl, I really love these type of video’s and I have a request. I have to move out of the house I share with my now Ex and my new space could use some personality. I have a lot of time on my hands waiting for a new house to become avalible for me and I would absolutely love it if you could help me find crochet projects to upcycle/decorate my new space with. I was thinking garlands, pillowcases, wall hangings, flower pot covers etc. Would love to see what you can find, untill then I’ll filter out the idea’s you’ve already given from the already made video’s. Keep up the good work, you’re amazing!
Hi! I love ur vids but I’ve been trying to make a butterfly shirt. I cannot seem to get a good video maybe you could make a tutorial ? Anywho I hope u have a wonderful day!

As someone born in 1963, it is frankly disturbing to hear the 1990s as vintage. 😮😢😂😂😂

Hey can't get code to work...
it expired! it was only available for the first two weeks from the video posting
"what's a decade" 😂
Those "tiny yarn/ string" patterns are thread crochet, usually done with size 10 bedspread cotton thread and steel crochet hooks.
