Oh my. All those blankets. The mosaic blanket looks beautiful on both sides. The thickest yarn I’ve used is a 5. Just thinking about it makes my fingers hurt. The smallest thread I’ve used is 20 or 30. Those blankets are beautiful. I think you did a beautiful job on the quilt. Happy Belated Birthday! Woohoo November Birthday! Crystal at bag o day crochet shows several felting videos on how to felt things! You can make a hat bigger than you need and then wash it in hot water and dry it in hot heat and it will felt.

I love making blankets too. I find them so relaxing to make. All the blankets you made are beautiful. The Snowflake blanket looks like it would be very hard to make. I made my fur-grandbaby a sweater in Bernat Blanket Big in Mottled Taupe. I used smaller knitting needles and it worked up great. Plus did a knitted/crocheted combo cat bed for our kitty. I'm crocheting a king size blanket in Bernat Blanket for our bed all in black. I keep having to put it aside to make projects for family and friends. Plus still buying more skeins as I find them on sale. The quilt is amazing. Wonderful birthday gifts. Happy Belated Birthday! 😊🎂🎉💕

I am not into skulls at all so I was quite surprised at how many people actually love skulls. Every time I showed it to someone, they would comment about knowing someone who would absolutely love it because of the skulls😁

Thank you and I probably would not put out any patterns for many reasons but two of the main ones are: 1: I have no idea what I am doing. I wing things most times and 2: I am too unorganized to put out patterns🤣

I love felting. Was easier in the old top loader machines though. Try felted crochet mittens. No more cold fingers cause I can't knit.

OMG…I’ve made two of those Bernat Blanket big hand knitted blankets…they are so in trend…made on for my daughter and one her daughter…..you make me laugh, they are so easy!!!…Merry Christmas Deb…..miss you lots! 💕

I had the same thing experience with that chunky chenille yarn ! My teenage granddaughter requested a a chunky throw for Christmas two years ago and I sent away for appropriate crochet hook, which was useless as the yarn stuck to it 🥺. Then I thought it might be easier to knit up, so got huge knitting needles - same problem!! I shoved it in a cupboard and every so often I gave it a dirty look and left it there. I eventually found a RUclips video on finger knitting so gave it a try and it was a revelation. I gave it to her in November for her birthday, nearly two years after I first tried it 😳😂. I would like one for myself, but the yarn is so expensive in the UK: £12 a ball (approx 15 USD) so 10 balls works out at £120!! 😲

And that is the reason I don't do more of those blankets. The yarn is waaaayyy too expensive (here as well). I honestly think that they have hiked up the prices even more. A few years ago when I bought it for the first time, I am pretty sure that they were under $10 CAD and now they are around $16. I will just keep my eyes open for any great sales and maybe make one for myself
