WOW you have had a lot going on over there! I can only say the weather is nuts everywhere! Glad you are well now. I always love everything you create. OMG! All that fabric you got is amazing. It is so expensive for fabric now days. I used to sew all the clothes for my kids when they were little. I also made all their Halloween costumes. I was always sewing something but I never made a quilt. I always wanted to do that though. I hope you have a fantastic visit with your mom and daughter. Take care of yourself and I will be watching for your next video.
Hi Debbie, it’s always a pleasure seeing you whenever you pop in bcuz there’s always something wonderful to see and today was no different. The blanket for your daughter is beautiful and the tummy mat is lovely, made with one of my favorite yarns for little ppl and blankets. Enjoy your trip.
I laughed out loud when you said "dumb ass donkeys" ! Then I played that part for my husband & he laughed, too. What fun! You should get the chicken lamp !! Your quilts look fabulous !
I haven’t had a chance to catch up with you in so long because I’ve been living in parenting and baby land, and it was SO nice to hear your voice and see what you’ve been up to! I am just blown away by your sewing!! The quilts you are making are phenomenal 😍. I know you are saying. Your skill level is not that high but oh my gosh they are just beautiful!

I was so excited to see you. Yes, you are the drop in neighbor. I love it. Your videos are never too long for me. Since I saw you last, I’ve lost my hubby so you were certainly a ray of sunshine for me. Love your quilting projects. Makes me want to get out my machine. Besides crocheting, I’ve been collecting for junk journaling. Lolol. I think collecting is a hobby. Hugs to you and your family. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Oh No!!! Please accept my deepest condolences. Such sad and hard thing to go through. I hope you have lots of family and friends around. And, YES! you should take out your machine😁

That is awesome! Unfortunately I am not a good baker. I can cook very well but baking is a precise science. Good for you!! I wish my hubby would get into gardening but at least he does the heavy stuff when I need him to.
Hi Debbie!!! I’ve recently started watching a UT channel called “Chickabiddies”. It’s a daughter that is cleaning out her mom’s home who recently passed away that was an organized hoarder. She has ALOT of fabric…you can watch episode 21 to see SOME of the fabric in bins. You may want to reach out to her…she is trying to clean out the house and is selling a lot of the items. You maybe a help to her with purchasing some of the fabric…doesn’t hurt to try. Love the blanket you made for your daughter!!! Your sewing skills are awesome…I make curtains for my home…about the extent of my sewing🤣. My main passion is crocheting and making jewelry. Stay safe and be blessed❤
I'm in my sewing season as well Debbie! Loving your quilts, they are gorgeous, fun and colorful. There's something magical about scrap sewing that is just so satisfying. Cheers!

Hello- love your videos and really enjoy hearing about your adventures and all your projects and the show & tells! In my opinion, its perfectly fine by me to hear about your crafting ventures besides crochet. In addition to crochet, I also sew - the quilt video was great, I feel like tryng it out, maybe small scale. I have also revived my long dormant kitting, so you aren't the only multi crafter - I'm sure there are a lot of us out there. 😊
I so love all your quilts. I have made the farm quilt you will do fine with it. So nice to see you again. Love your video. Have a nice vacation. Tummy tuck mat is adorable.
Debbie you picked the perfect day to post. Today is my 68th bday and I get to see you. I enjoy your babbling. My dad was a tree trimmer. He usesd to cut down trees or tri, the trees around electrical wires. So I actually know how much work you all have with that 100 foot pine. Pine trees make a bigger mess than other trees. Between the needles and pinecone those alone cause a huge mess then the branches and trunk. I wish you all the best in that clean up. How is the fur babies doing? I like to sew, just wish I was better at it. You are so right about crochet fundamentals being easier. OK I'm done rambling. Hope to see you again
Happy Birthday Spring Chicken!!!!! (sorry..I have farms on the brain🤣). Tree trimmers are a special kind of person!! They are worth every penny! I don't think I could EVER do that. My doggies are fine. We are dealing with dementia with the older dog so every day is different with him and the younger dog, who has arthritis, gets a pain shot once per month so he is much more mobile these days
@@CanadianCrocheter You, my friend are what I call the best of the best when it comes to your doggies. So many owners give them up or dump a medically challenge pet some where because they don't want the hassle or expense of caring for their pet. You take your fur baby to the vet and make sure the have what they need to be comfortable. It is something that really gets under my skin when someone takes in a pet and once they need more than food and water and let out to do their business, they become a nuances to them. OK thank you for the bday wishes. Until next time.
I enjoy your videos so much. Love your quilts and fabric. I’ve never thought about doing quilts, so really like seeing what you’re doing. Take care and will look forward to your next visit🤗
Thank you so much! I would not consider myself a quilter because I mostly do scrappy quilts because anything goes in a scrap quilt. Any mistakes are not visible.😁
I love watching your videos. Sometimes I wonder what I've done with my days, I'm retired, I should be able to do what I want when I want. And that's what I enjoy about your videos too. I love seeing what is interesting you now!! I love your blankets and that quilt is amazing. And that rug idea is fun, it looks like it will take alot of time but at your pace and enjoy it!! The baby bear is so cute. It's amazing how fast the babies grow. We're with my grandkids right now, my grandson will be 4 on Tuesday and my granddaughter is 18 months. Safe travels and enjoy your visiting too. I'll see you when I see you. Prayers, love and hugs my very dear friend 🙏❤️🤗
Hello … always good to see you. Love the scrappy quilts! I am making my first quilt. It’s a log cabin block quilt. I crochet, do some knitting and working on quilting much like you… I’m always working on something. I love the blanket for your daughter and the tummy time mat. Great deal on the material!! Until next time the care . ❤
No apologies!! I love to watch your videos whenever you post. Keep doing what you are doing! I love seeing all your crafts. It inspires me to expand my craft repertoire! Thanks and have a great vacation.
I love all the angry chickens, the geese and dumb ass donkeys pictures!! Above the bed is perfect!! Your farm themed quilt for the bed will be the icing on the cake!! Lol!😂🤣 You always say you haven’t done much and I’m always over the top floored with all your beautiful quilts, blankets, bags and more!! You are so talented!!👏🥰 I had been thinking about you the last couple of days, wondering what you were up to and wasn’t it time to hear from you!! Thanks for bringing a smile to my face and joy in listening and seeing everything you’ve been doing!! Till next time!! 😘💕🌷🇨🇦
You are seriously adorable!!!! I always get excited when my notifications pop up with your cute face on it…. Have fun with your family!!!! Love love love your makes and creativity!!!!!
Thank you so much!! Not to be too nosey but I perused your youtube page and you have some similar interests!! Love the garden videos. Did you fix up the property you showed? Where in the world are you??
@@CanadianCrocheter how funny, I completely forgot I ever put videos on RUclips…. I live in Southwest Oregon Had an amazingly successful garden for a couple years and then one day I came home from work to find my landlord in my yard with a tractor digging it all up. He has several mobiles in a wonderfully rural area and we all have nice size lots, however, the septic tank was super old and died. Since it had been in my yard previously, he decided the larger one also needed to be in my lot. It was 4-5 times the size of the last one and without a word tore up my whole yard before harvest that year. I was devastated for quite a while. So I started focusing more on my other love which is crocheting. I miss my fresh food daily, the stuff in the store doesn’t compare. But I don’t own and truly love where I live so I had to forgive and move on. This year I am trying to learn how to do raised gardening and hydroponics…. Haven’t mastered it yet but I am determined…lol Thank you for being so real in your videos…. I feel like I can try things when I see and watch your adventures!!! I am going to look at my page now to see what’s on there….lol
Hi Debbie. It’s always nice to see you. I enjoy hearing about your family stuff as well! The blanket for your daughter is lovely. I really enjoy working with Bernat Blanket Yarn. While recently cleaning out my guest bedroom which was loaded with yarn I gave one of my sons a blanket I had made for my mom for her 90th birthday. Well his oldest son commandeered the thing as soon as it got in the house so his younger brother wants one. So we picked out the yarn together and I’ve just started on it. It won’t take long either. I have 10 grandchildren and I’ve made a lot of blankets. I’m done using worsted weight as they take forever, lol. I also cast on 270 stitches to make a shrug but it’s so boring in stockinette that I’ve done about 4 rows, lol. I can’t force myself to frog it because it took me so long to cast those stitches on. And it’s expensive yarn. Hopefully I’ll get the desire to just do some plain knitting one of these days. What great bargains you got on all that fabric! I’ve been wanting to learn to quilt for so long. One of these days…. Love your animal themed guest bedroom! What a terrific story! Thanks for sharing! Have a wonderful visit with your mom and daughter!❤❤
You make me wish I could sew straight. Maybe I’ll figure it out someday, but I would love to quilt. I tried a long time ago, but my blocks are just not even. I enjoyed hearing your crafty news.
well....three things I can say to that.... -layer a few pieces of masking tape on your machine to give you a ridge for your fabric to sit against. All you have too do is make sure your fabric is nudged up against the tape and you will have straight stitches(you could also practice by sewing on lined paper with no thread) -don't be so hard on yourself. Perfection is over rated!! learn too love your wonky seams😊. Eventually you will get better -but if you are still the type of person who can't love the imperfection, then learn how to use a seam ripper properly and lengthen the stitch length so that it is easier to rip out what you don't like (ripping out your stitches doesn't have to be painful)
I love it! Good for you!!!!! I tried loom beading for a bit (and only occasionally pick it up now). I find it hard on the eyesight. I'm glad you are excited about it.
Always happy to see you, whatever craft you're talking about lol ! I've loved watching your progress in sewing and I think your scrap projects are gorgeous. Loooove your big quilt !!
I absolutely loved this video!! OMG I was 😂😂😂 at your farm room pictures. Hilarious. Yes you need that chicken lamp. I love to sew & want to do quilting so I was drooling at your fabric finds!!!
@@CanadianCrocheter clothes for 18" dolls, drawstring bags, pillowcases for kids or adults with fun fabrics. I have made a small amount of lap quilts before.
I really enjoy watching your videos.Besides crochet and knitting I also quilt.Just took up cross stitching, anyway I really enjoy your videos love the blankets.
You are a multi-crafter!! That is what I am aiming to be. I did do some cross stitch when I was pregnant with my second daughter but after she was born, life got too hectic and there was not time for "me". Maybe I will pick it up again😊
I love your room, and I love the chicken lamp. I think you could make the "Emotional Support Chicken" as pillows :) I need three/ four evenings to knit it. If you use thick yarn you could make it really huge .. as deko.... I think you know this chicken. Its on the first side of Raelry pattern - and she has a crocheted one too. (and a Video for the knitted one) Love your striped quilt!
Hi Debbie! So pretty your quilting blankets! 😍 What a deals you found! 🤩 I agree with you, learn to sew it’s more difficult than crochet, sometimes it’s more like I’m learning how to unsew 😂 Always love your videos 😊
Hey Debbie! I‘ve enjoyed this episode. Do all the crafts that bring you joy! ✨I love your „farm room“ and how it came to life. It’s hilarious and I adore the geese picture. 😂 The chicken lamp… how do you find this stuff? 🤣 Thank you for brightening up my evening. ☕️
Dumb a** donkeys. 🫏 hahaha lady you crack me up! 😂 That farm quilt is going to be so fun in that room. Love it. Really love that blanket for your daughter. Turned out so classy!! Good to see you!!
I love your corny room with all the goofy animals lol 😂 even though that chicken lamp might be smaller I think you should still get it 🤪 I still think all the sewing items you make are spectacular… even if you say you are still learning. I treasure all the bags you have made me. They are my absolute favorites out of so many project bags I have 😍 I definitely would love it if you could make me another big scrappy tote 😀 of course when you have the time that is 🤗 Maybe I’ll reach out to you in email soon so we can discuss 😛 💜🥰💜
Hola friend 👋🏼 I love all your videos. You explain how you acquired the items, and how you went about making them. Important stuff for those that want to replicate it. Wowzers!! Your mama's quilt is UHHHMAZING!! Great deal on the machine and fabric, awww yeauhh! Whoaaa, master blanket maker baby, love it. Awww.. tummy time blanket. So cute. Snow at the end of April? Is that common? Too bad you don't live closer. The hospital asked for some sewn tissue pocket holders.. I'm trying to crochet a couple. Happy Saturday ❤
Snow in April here is not unusual but the amount of snow we got hit with is very unusual. You got this Zee!!! I'm sure you will make a ton of tissue holders
I hear you about the sewing i been at it for years still cant sew on the binding so i gets my friend to do that yes knitting and crocheting so much easier lol but stil i love to sew away doing a quilt called Colorwash Terry Rowland’s video have a look great for using up scraps but you need a 3 1/2 inch square
Don't be sorry for anything you post, Do what makes you happy lol. You always say you never have much done but girl you are always busy at something. I haven't done much crochet either, life gets in the way. Enjoy your time because it sure does fly by.
I love to listen to you so you can make your videos as long as you want. I have been doing some sewing too. I made drawstring fat Quarter bags for all my grandkids for Easter. I also made me a totebag with a zipper. I never have done a zipper. I am looking for cute barn animal fabric to make a farm quilt for my grandchild that will be born in October. How weird is that that we are both doing a farm quilt? Hope to see you soon and have fun with your mom.
farms are all the rage now🤣🤣 Did you find the zipper challenging? I was always scared of zippers and now I realize that was silly thinking. Anything new is hard at first

@@CanadianCrocheter you are a quilter of scrappy blankets🥰 They are beautiful and don’t minimize your talent 🤗
I love watching your videos. Sometimes I wonder what I've done with my days, I'm retired, I should be able to do what I want when I want. And that's what I enjoy about your videos too.
I live in Southwest Oregon
Had an amazingly successful garden for a couple years and then one day I came home from work to find my landlord in my yard with a tractor digging it all up.
Haven’t mastered it yet but I am determined…lol
Thank you for being so real in your videos…. I feel like I can try things when I see and watch your adventures!!!
I am going to look at my page now to see what’s on there….lol
Hi Debbie. Beautiful items. I love seeing thrifted fabric! Safe travels to you!
Thanks so much😁
OMGoodness. I love the goose picture. I agree, the room needs to be a farm room. I'd have to buy the lamp anyways. 😂
I agree too. I think the room needs a kitschy lamp 😂
Isn't it great when our makes are appreciated??!!
My advice to you regarding sewing....Just jump in!! you might surprise yourself
All you have too do is make sure your fabric is nudged up against the tape and you will have straight stitches(you could also practice by sewing on lined paper with no thread)
-don't be so hard on yourself. Perfection is over rated!! learn too love your wonky seams😊. Eventually you will get better
-but if you are still the type of person who can't love the imperfection, then learn how to use a seam ripper properly and lengthen the stitch length so that it is easier to rip out what you don't like (ripping out your stitches doesn't have to be painful)
I’m sure the farm quilt will look fantastic.
I hope so too😊
You really need that chicken lamp if only for a night light. I can’t wait to see the final farm room!
I think you are right...I might just have to purchase that chicken lamp🤣
@@CanadianCrocheter I looked in Amazon and they had a duck too. In case you wanted to stay with the picture 😂😂😂😂
I love watching you get so excited about your accomplishments! This is how I'm feeling about learning my beading.
I love it! Good for you!!!!! I tried loom beading for a bit (and only occasionally pick it up now). I find it hard on the eyesight. I'm glad you are excited about it.
Happy to see you! Get the chicken light for the farm room!
Thanks. I think I will get it😁
O.M.G!!!! love the scrap strip blanket!!!
Thanks 😊

Always happy to see you, whatever craft you're talking about lol ! I've loved watching your progress in sewing and I think your scrap projects are gorgeous. Loooove your big quilt !!
Thank you so very much for following my crazy journey😊
I absolutely loved this video!! OMG I was 😂😂😂 at your farm room pictures. Hilarious. Yes you need that chicken lamp.
I love to sew & want to do quilting so I was drooling at your fabric finds!!!
Awesome!!! The room is supposed to make people laugh.
I don't mean to pry, but if you love to sew but you don't quilt, what do you sew? Just curious
@@CanadianCrocheter clothes for 18" dolls, drawstring bags, pillowcases for kids or adults with fun fabrics. I have made a small amount of lap quilts before.
@@CanadianCrocheter oh & when my kids were growing up I made all their Halloween costumes
Debbie I love your room theme. Love visiting with you .
Thanks for stopping by😊❤️
OMG the strips quilt. Love it. I really need to make time to sew something. The goose print looks good. I don't know about the chickens though 🤣🤣
yes, the chickens are probably not conducive to good dreams but then the guests won't stay too long🤣🤣🤣
I really enjoy watching your videos.Besides crochet and knitting I also quilt.Just took up cross stitching, anyway I really enjoy your videos love the blankets.
(and a Video for the knitted one)
Love your striped quilt!
OMG!!! you are absolutely right!!! That would be great in that room. Thanks for the suggestion
great to see you! I think you need the chicken lamp, if you need a bigger lamp look up the rabbit lamp. Thank you for your video. Be safe and enjoy
oh I did see the rabbit lamp...its so cute!!!
Very nice to see you Debbie ❤️
It’s was good to see you. I hope you have a wonderful vacation.
Thanks. I hope its good as well
I really enjoy your videos, no matter what you’re making.
Thank you so much for such kind words
Enjoy your visit with your daughter and mother. Be safe
Thank you😊
Hi Debbie!
So pretty your quilting blankets! 😍
What a deals you found! 🤩
I agree with you, learn to sew it’s more difficult than crochet, sometimes it’s more like I’m learning how to unsew 😂
Always love your videos 😊
Exactly!! So now, crochet is my pallet cleanser😁
Great to see you, love all your projects❤
Thank you! 😊
I would make a matching pillow with the extra blanket yarn.
Awesome idea but I am leaving in a few days and probably can't get it done in time.
Dumb a** donkeys. 🫏 hahaha lady you crack me up! 😂 That farm quilt is going to be so fun in that room. Love it. Really love that blanket for your daughter. Turned out so classy!! Good to see you!!
Thanks so much😁
Always enjoy hearing from you ❤

That lamp is epic!!! 😂
Right??!!!
It’s wonderful to see you again

That blanket is gorgeous!

Nice to catch up with you! Hope your trip to Fredericton is fun! Rosie
Oh Rosie!!!!! You need to do another video! You are sorely missed!!!!
I love your corny room with all the goofy animals lol 😂 even though that chicken lamp might be smaller I think you should still get it 🤪
I still think all the sewing items you make are spectacular… even if you say you are still learning. I treasure all the bags you have made me. They are my absolute favorites out of so many project bags I have 😍 I definitely would love it if you could make me another big scrappy tote 😀 of course when you have the time that is 🤗 Maybe I’ll reach out to you in email soon so we can discuss 😛

Hi nice to see you love your blanket I always get a smile on my face when I see a video of you up yay you don’t never say your sorry for a long video

Wow! That is truly ambitious and beautiful!!
Babble on I will be here the blanket is beautiful 😊

Don't be sorry for anything you post, Do what makes you happy lol. You always say you never have much done but girl you are always busy at something. I haven't done much crochet either, life gets in the way. Enjoy your time because it sure does fly by.
Exactly! Life does get in the way😁🤣
I love to listen to you so you can make your videos as long as you want. Hope to see you soon and have fun with your mom.
farms are all the rage now🤣🤣
Did you find the zipper challenging? I was always scared of zippers and now I realize that was silly thinking. Anything new is hard at first
