    Thanks for the Pulsar LT install video. Since then, I have no reoccuring issues with the transmission, MPG went up by 2, transmission line pressure has risen which has since prevented sudden jerking when taking off from a dead stop. My'19 has over 1800 engine hours and just under 60k miles. Thanks alot!!

    Glad you got what you wanted, no hate for that.
    I didn't want to wait for the 6.2l Elevation. The only AT4 I could get in my area was white or black, don't want either. I ordered a Silver ice LT2 Silverado Trail Boss 6.2l. I hope it comes with the ZR2 hood scoop, but thats a long shot. I'm going to add one later when available. I'm replacing my beloved 18 Silverado that got totaled by another driver. Used prices are ridiculous, not paying that.

It wasn't worth the extra price i would have had to pay to get the new dashboard layout, which i really do love. As it was, I paid $5000 more than i should have, but I only had 3 trucks to choose from in a 5 state area. In a couple of years, i'll get the 2022 model. Hopefully prices will have come down by then. I factory ordered my 2014. I still have the truck and use it every day and it now has over 100,000 miles. I keep it spotless inside and out the best that I can and follow all required maintenance and more. I really don't see the point in purchasing a new vehicle every couple of years since you are only making other people money and not saving it for yourself, but hey! It is your cash so you obviously can do with it as you please. I like to make a new vehicle payment to myself every month and keep storing it in my bank account, then when it comes time to purchase a new truck, I just factory order exactly what I want and pay cash for it. That is the cheapest way and you will get exactly what you want in what color that you want.

      I honestly don’t see an issue with the bowtie location. Either the old or new. Kind of prefer the newer version myself, but it’s certainly not a game changer. Simply a personal preference. What is a game changer is the new redesigned interior and small body changes. The late 22 and 23 models are a huge upgrade to the line.

    They should have kept the front end the same and just updated the interior on the Silverado. I agree the refresh is a step back, the bowtie needs to be in the middle and that filler piece under the hood looks like an afterthought, the lights looked much better tight to the hood not moved down with a piece of plastic to fill in the gap.

    • @dallasfrost1996
      @dallasfrost1996 2 года назад

      Agreed, Chevy really dropped the ball with the refreshed Silverado exterior. The 2019-2021 Silverado front ends looked perfect in my opinion. It had the classic Silverado look but in a more modern way. The refresh erased all the key Silverado design cues, like the double stacked headlights, centered bowtie, etc. It now just looks ugly.
      Pre-refresh, I preferred the Silverado exterior over the Sierra. But now after the Refresh, I'm going Sierra this time round.

    Hate what they did with the cup holders in the refresh. Two 44 oz drinks barely fit next to each other in the new one. Details matter.

    I do like the new Sierra’s more than the Silverado’s. It’s something about them and I can 100% agree with you on the weird placement of the front Chevy badge. Great truck choice, I’m ready for the new content.

      The taillights on the new Chevys are just so weird looking whereas the gmc taillights look good. It’s too bad gm didn’t use the same taillights for the Silverado think it would look better. The only thing weird looking on the Sierra is the odd shaped wheel wells.

      Agreed, Chevy screwed up the refreshed Silverado exterior.

      I'd have to disagree, atleast for the Pre-refresh models (2019-2021). Those still captured most of the key Silverado Deisgn cues. The Refreshed Silverado's however, no, they're truly ugly. Just like the current HDs.

    I’m going from a 98 Sierra to a 22 Sierra. The difference is going to be day and night . The transmission alone will be going from a 4 speed to a 10. Are you going to keep your 06 Sierra? I will keep mine for a little while just to compare the two..
