    Sthanks so much for posting this. I made an afghan using a similar stitch and couldnt find the pattern. This jogged my memory enough to duplicate it. The only difference is simply an extra front post stitch crossing over each other to form a cable.

    This is a beautiful pattern, but I frogged mine, because the yarn I'm using made the scarf too skinny for my liking. I think I'll start with 29 stitches, for a really luxurious scarf. I can't wait...this pattern is so lovely for a solid color yarn!

      After the base chain, I cannot get the double crochet stitch count to come out right. I tried 20+1, 24+1, neither worked. I kept coming up one or more short. I have never had this problem with any other scarf video I have tried, so I’m baffled. Time to move on and find another one that will work.

      Jennifer Hayes you will need to bind off half way. Then start again in the remaining loops of your foundation chain.
      So a mirror image.
      No other way to do it. 😉

    Just to say, love the video! Made me a beautiful burgundy scarf already. Did notice on your video you do the ch 2 at end of row, but on your page of written instructions you state to do the ch 2 after you turn. I don't suppose it makes much difference? I did mine like you did on video. Also on the finished row, I tried the dc all across and didn't like the looks as it didn't look like the other end. What I did was a double in first stitch, bpdc in bpdc,space, sc across while continuing to do a bpdc in each bpdc and ending with dc in last stitch of dc. Matches up pretty good to other end. Fringed ends of scarf with 5 strands each below the fpdc's.

      +Meladora's Creations for Crochet do you do a double every other stitch to end as it would double your stitch numbers taking into account you do 4 stitches in the v but you only miss 2 to create the v? I don't want to mess up the pattern it's so nice x

    • @Meladora1
      @Meladora1  9 лет назад

      +ChickHabit13 You mean the ends are perfectly straight? Or you're missing the stitch you were suppose to DC in? I know my sides if you look at the beginning video are not perfectly flat. There will be some difference as you make row to row. But as long as you are putting your end dc's ion the right places you should be fine.
