It's beautiful. I've been working on one just like it in a rose/pink color. So far it's going well. Took me a couple of rows before I caught on and now I'm about half finished. I'm a 64 year old man... I love crocheting in my retirement years. I've made scarves, hats, socks, halter top, blankets for both grandsons, ponchos for my twin daughters, and a kimono for my oldest daughter. I do it mostly while watching tv..so the easier the pattern, or the less color changes the better. I especially like the Caron Cakes yarn....with all the beautiful color changes.
this is such a gorgeous pattern, I've been crocheting for a while but only recently started trying out lacy patterns and this tutorial was so easy to follow and made it much less intimidating to try
Grace and peace to you. I am a new subscriber. This is the first of your designs I have made. I used one ball of Scarfie yarn in Evergreen & Pearl Grey. Making this was relaxing, and ever so much fun! You are a good crochet teacher, because you are very concise and easy to understand. Thank you, and may God bless you.
I really enjoyed this project!!!! It was very exciting. I made two. One in Red Heart Ombre Pink for my daughter and one in Red Heart Ombre Peach for me. Thank you for such a lovely pattern.
You are very welcome! I'm really glad you made these scarves for your daughter and yourself. It means a lot to me that my crochet work is useful to others!
Another beautiful pattern! I've made two already and will put them away since the weather is getting colder. I had a little trouble on where to put my hook into the double crochet but I winged it and it came out beautiful!
Thank you for this pattern! I have a shoulder issue and really appreciate patterns that work along the width. It's much easier to start again after taking a break!
I follow your channel all the time and look forward to your latest. This is a very pretty design and has a lacy effect which I love. Your tutorials are clear and easy to understand. 😺
This would also make a lovely table runner, especially for holidays if it was worked in gold or silver or green for Christmas, blue for Hanukkah, or fall colors for Thanksgiving.
This is ethereal and your tutorial makes it look easy😀I am a beginner but am definitely going to try this. I have variegated pink yarn which should work for thus and will probably add another row to make it wider...thanks a lot for sharing 😊
@@OlgaPoltava I have started this and I must admit the most difficult part of the design for me is the beginning double crochet...after two or three attempts I wanted to give up and make 3 chains but realized that the beginning dc looks much better. Thanks for teaching this new technique 🙂
This is beautiful and I've never seen that double crochet in the beginning done before its very cool ! Love this pattern thank you for showing it you do such pretty patterns . Hugs Maria ❤
Hi Maria, I knew about this begging double crochet before, but somehow I always stuck with 3 chains instead. But just recently I started using beginning dc and I love it. Looks better than 3 chains too.
Hello Olga! Today was doing the scarf for Diana only she is loved the blue more of purple. I was choose cotton bamboo in navy from ICE yarns. I was doing 3 chain because the material is soft and the dc in the first is not work well. 😉
Hi Georgina, I'm sure it looks lovely with cotton bamboo yarn in navy color! Yes, I agree, for some pattern and some yarns 3 chains instead of a dc works best! Sending hugs from San Jose! 🤗♥️ Today I will be starting a new project with one of the lovely yarns you sent me! Again, thank you so much, I greatly appreciate your kind gift! 🌺
Hello Olga! Pretty pattern for scarf or shawl 😘. Now I am not sure which pattern will use for Diana's scarf for her birthday next moth. Thank you for sharing your tutorial! Stay safe😷👋from Bakersfield CA. ✌👍🌷😍😽💖
Hi Georgina, thank you so much for your comment! How sweet that you want to make a scarf for your daughter's birthday. I'm sure no matter which one you decide to make, she'll love it! Hugs from San Jose 🤗🌺
Love your work, looked at all your beautiful work❤️. It looks like you insert your hook differently in the double crochets than usually. Is this the case or are my eyes playing tricks?😉🧣
First, don't make a row of double crochets in the beginning and in the end. Simply crochet the lace part, then twist it and stitch together. In this video I crocheted a rectangular scarf, then made a twist and stitched it together. You can take a look at the end of the video to see how I did that. I hope this helps. ruclips.net/video/vB7X0Gh8ykE/видео.html
