    Dear Fiber Spider: you have brought back my interest in crochet again! I tried to learn knitting when I was 12 from a very nice lady but just never could get it. Then, I got my mom to teach me a very basic single and double crochet when I was about 16, and I loved it. Unfortunately, I never learned much more than that, but was able to use those basic stitches enough to do granny squares and shell stitches to make afghans for nursing homes. I eventually had a family and crochet had to go on the back burner to cooking and cleaning and school projects. I’m now 68 and after quilting awhile, I wanted something I could do more mobile. I looked to RUclips and there you were, with your help and patience. On a fixed income now, crochet is a little more cost friendly. I’m currently working on this infinity scarf for a long time friend of my mother. She’s 95 and in Iowa; I think this will be perfect for her in Mandala Ombré Harmony. Thank you again! ❤

    Another great tutorial for a beautiful stitch pattern. And thank you so much for the joining technique! It's perfect. So much better than trying to slip stitch the two ends together. It's barely noticeable. Very professional looking.

    Quite pretty. Sometimes I think it's the yarn that makes or breaks a project and that smile rainbow made that fabulous.

    • @beccabbea2511
      @beccabbea2511 3 года назад +3

      You are correct about the yarn making or breaking a project. I've nearly finished a möbius scarf using this pattern and the yarn is, for me, just right. The only difference I have made is to do all the rows as front post. I'm planning on making a matching slouchy hat (I look silly in a beanie) and fingerless mitts. One small problem. I need to visit a yarn shop for another ball of yarn. Oh dear me! 😃

    Thanks so much for taking time to make these videos! I’m crocheting again after 50 years (!) and my grandma taught me stitches when I was 8, but I don’t have a clue how to read patterns. With your instruction I’m not afraid at all to tackle more difficult stitches and make gifts for my family and friends. Thank you SO much for your time and effort. I REALLY appreciate it.

I inherited my mother's yarn stash when she died, and I had my own stash of store purchased and home spun. I was drowning in yarn, then I found your channel. You have saved my house from stash overload. Thank you so very much.

    Thank you for this video, I have the perfect yarn right in front of me. I've just made a test piece and decided to do every row as front post because I want to make the scarf as a möbius twist. I really like making those scarfs, they are quicker when making gifts and use less yarn. This would also look lovely as a möbius cowl hoodie, similar to your Granny Möbius Hoodie. Like you I'm not a fan of sewing seams together if I can avoid it and that way of joining the two ends is perfect. I just love your videos and they are the perfect antidote for our, yet another, lockdowns and help keep me sane. Thanks Spider, just keep you videos coming. Happy New Year and stay safe. 👍
