- On this episode we have the honour of touring one of best car collections in the country. What makes this collection so special is the fact that every single car in this collection was literally left for scrap. Robert (the owner) is an 82 year old car enthusiast that was trained in the auto body trade in the 1950's - before body filler (aka BONDO) was invented... Robert has saved hundreds and hundreds of cars from the inevitable faith of a salvage yard metal crusher. Follow along as Robert takes us for a tour of this amazing collection for Ford cars.

Sir, that Maverick is the most impressive build I've seen in years. Absolutely blew me away. The ability to design, fabricate and build something so insanely custom and then taking the time to make everything seem like it came off the assembly line is when you know you're the best, perfection.

What an amazing old timer! I strive to be like him at 82. We need more young guys hanging out with elders like this to pick up on all the tips & tricks that experience has taught. Can’t learn that in any books!

I had a '96 Cobra and before I put 4.10's in it you could run it up to 80 in 2nd gear. Blew my best friends mind first ride I took him on. I threw it in 2nd at 65 mph...I thought he was gonna have a heart attack. Good times

I have saved a few written off foxes myself.
I became an auto service tech when these cars were being built, but this right here... is a dream I had over and over.

Needless to say, there are probably plenty of fox Mustang project cars in places like this and a hundred thousand other smaller stashes. In my area of Michigan, I am aware of around twenty different people who have put away more than two and in five cases have more than twenty cars, in various conditions. So, nobody should be so discouraged from having one to at least do a build.

That's one impressive collection. I have 1 of the other White with Black leather 97 Cobras, I bought the 97 Cobra brand new in January of 1997.

Wow what a sweet collection. This guy reminds me of another fellow I met probably almost 20 years ago I think he lived in the Surrey/ delta area on the mainland. He had a huge piece of land with a massive shop and his property was nothing but foxbodies, sn95s and new edge cars.

New subscriber here!...I'm really enjoying the channel!...I own a 89 notchback and picking up a 89 GT here in a couple weeks more than likely...my wife passed away earlier this year and I'm focusing on what I love to help ease the pain a touch which is foxbody mustangs...I've owned over 15 of them since the mid 90s and I love them!...I hope you and Chris (infamous) are going to the Motor City Fox Fest coming up this summer in Dearborn Michigan because I look forward to meeting both of you at the event and I'll have one of the two if not both of my cars featured there!...keep up the awesome content!...Nick from Michigan!
Personally. I would love to get my hands on the one's that have the trx wheels on them. I'd keep the Capri as it is and do it over. But that convertible could be a doner car for my 82 GT that i have. My parent's bought the 82 new, and now I have it. Want to bring it back to, life, but this is an amazing collection of stangs. This is INSANE 🤘🤘

This dudes my idol. That’s gonna be me in 40 years. Currently only 2. A grabber blue 13 with built gen 3, whippled on e85 and an electric red 93 LX I’m finishing up a full cosmetic resto on as we speak.
And I now know of a skulk of fox body’s that should be available soon(ish) 😎

Very cool. Old timer really knew a thing or two. The red LX looks cool. Especially lowered on the Lincoln Mark VII wheels. Guess he did the five lug conversion on that one.

I have only have CAI and full BBK exhaust with Flowmaster on the Mark, the best is when people who know the sound turn their head when they hear me and then see the MarkVII, then I rev match shift down LOL that really makes them scratch their head🤣
