thanks!
It’s too nice to even drive anymore. True museum piece.
Love this time capsule, everyone wanted a Mustang GT in the late 80s.
They still do
Wow sweet!! Have not see a mustange gt seen I work at ford dealership in 1988 to 1992!!!👍👍👍👍👍….. take care of it!!!!!
Just beautiful
Amazing car!! Love it! I had a 1987 GT and was one of my all-time favorite cars!!
mine to was an 87 gt best car i have ever owned
The closest I ever came to a car that low on miles was my 96 Mystic cobra, it was a 100% flawless 35k mile car. To me it was a miserable car to own. As much as I absolutely love looking at a wrapper car, I would never own one. My nerves were shot just trying to keep that Cobra as flawless as it was, and it was at the limit of "low miles" so I couldn't drive it. If I owned that thing you have I'd be a damn nervous wreck!!! I own 7 foxs at the moment, including a 69k mile 88 GT, and a 93 Cobra. The cobra is a 120k mile car, thats been repainted, and had some minor mods, it is by far my most favorite car because its a driver, and I drive the piss out of it. Awesome time capsule man, I love to see them, but I am glad its your responsibility and not mine!! Lol
That's unreal ...thanks for sharing 😍😍😍
Wow, I'm so jealous towards you for owning an 89 GT with bearly any usage on it! I own a 19 Shelby GT350R with 5000 miles, I thought that was low milage!
damn it was perfect and the exact same as my first 89 until the auto
Gorgeous car!
Awesome. The headlights and taillights POP. Love it
Very cool. But the problem with cars designed in the mid-70s is that they drive like cars designed in the mid-70s. And with a low mileage example, you're obligated to keep it stock.
I love seeing examples like this.
Did your great uncle intend to preserve the car this way from the time he bought it or did life circumstances change for him?
How do you store a car like this to keep the elements and the critters from getting to it? On jack stands? In a sealed environment? How often do you need to crank it over and get it up to temperature to keep it healthy?
I think I remember from my 91 GT owners manual they suggested that long term stored cars should be started every few months and moved backwards 15 feet then forward 15 feet.
Any info is appreciated. Sweet example!
Looks so nice …you won’t sale ?
Nice car.
Thanks for this! Unfortunately, its difficult to keep my 88 LX original as a daily driver (I think its closing in on 300K miles). That solid door sound closing too- wow! Also, was there no rubber nub on the intake- where the front freeze plug is?
Memories. Had a red 91 Gt and a black 92 Gt back in my early teens. Wrapped a tree with one and burned up the other.
A Great Uncle indeed!! Now let's drop her 1.5", with rear wheel spacers. Get them even with front wheels. Like we all did back in the 90's :))
Start it
cash money and i can pick up with my trailer how much you want.
