    IBO is still 30 inches and 5lb per grain poundage of bow. The 31 long or or 29 for short range bows our their specific manufacturing specs.

    They have that digital shot as an add-on for any bow it just sticks to the side of the bow it's ok but nothing that repetition will tell you. Shows arrow flight kinda cool.

    Enjoyed the real world look at the new Lift. I am looking at buying the 33” next. At the moment I have the Mathews Atlas, 78#, 32” draw. I shoot Victory VAP TKO Elite arrows @ 462gr.
    Measures 307 thru the chrono at my local shop.
    In your opinion, how would I benefit by switching to the from my Atlas to the Lift?

    Does the back stabilizer integrate like the front?

    Sounds like every time you draw, there is the crack/pop sound that is coming from the cable/cam contact. Think most have been on the non cable side of the cam, against the split yoke on that side. Could be hearing things, but cable rub seems to be an issue on some of the Lifts and how they are shimmed from the factory.

  • @jwild5360
    @jwild5360 7 месяцев назад +1

    The limbs are not wider. Idk where that keeps coming from. Exact same width as the p4.
    You guys are still not understanding ibo speeds. 350 grains at 70 pounds is the same speeds as 80 pounds at 400 grains. Which is also the same as 60 pounds at 300 grains. Where they push the needle on ibo is not poundage. Ibo parameters are 5 grains per pound up to 80 pounds with a 2 pound variance and the kicker is no specified draw length.

    • @jroutdooradventures
      @jroutdooradventures 7 месяцев назад

      We know that. However, they are getting their speeds from 80lb 31” draw and 450 grain arrow or something. I really wish they would just make real world numbers

    • @jwild5360
      @jwild5360 7 месяцев назад

      @@jroutdooradventures you guys have to calculate for the weight on the string and other things. For example my lift 33 goes as follows
      70 pounds
      420 grains
      27.5 inches
      285fps
      This is 340 fps ibo when you calculate for the 20 grains on the string. If I took advantage of the 2 pound variance that ibo allows for it would be shooting 289fps which would be 343-344 ibo equivalent.
      Yours however is pretty slow I’m betting it’s chrono related. I’ve not had a bow In 10 years that hasn’t made its advertised speeds when testing under the allowed parameters. I’m also testing them fully tuned and with a bareshaft through the chrono.

  • @ashleysmith4191
    @ashleysmith4191 7 месяцев назад +1

    That should be quite a bit faster…man I wish these things actually hit their numbers cause I’m a fan.

    • @o.n.e.wayhunting
      @o.n.e.wayhunting 7 месяцев назад +1

      When you figure the weight on the string, and use 80lbs/28.5"/450gr arrow, at a 343IBO, it should hit 298 at those measurements with 40gr on the string. So it is basically hitting its IBO mark, and isn't slow. That's pretty sweet on just a single shot sample.

    • @ashleysmith4191
      @ashleysmith4191 7 месяцев назад

      @@o.n.e.wayhuntingit should be 307…there ain’t 40gr on that string.

    • @o.n.e.wayhunting
      @o.n.e.wayhunting 7 месяцев назад +1

      @@ashleysmith4191 Probably more. Those monkey tails alone weigh 35-40gr, plus the d loop. Maybe 45-50 grains on that string.

    • @ashleysmith4191
      @ashleysmith4191 7 месяцев назад +2

      @@o.n.e.wayhunting if they rated their bows with no monkey tails, then what’s the point of having them? No matter how you slice it, they’re the same speeds as last year. Which is fine, but don’t advertise the extra speed…

    • @o.n.e.wayhunting
      @o.n.e.wayhunting 7 месяцев назад

      @@ashleysmith4191 I agree. Given the extra draw length of the Switchweight cams, usually around 1/2", the new cams have been at most on some, 1/4", so the Lift is in all honesty about 3-5fps faster than the P4/V3 series of bows. It is over inflated, and unnecessarily so slightly.
