Levi, you make things very easy to understand, very clear, very "everything", ...and I thank you very much! If you can improve the amount of light in your workshop you will reach the perfection!
Tie 4 square knots on top and four on the bottom, pull tight melt the ends....no need at all for superglue - he is having to use glue because he is using overhands not square knots....if you don't understand what i'm saying John Dudley has a good video showing the 'best' way to do it.
I agree 100%. It’s always awesome to see what little differences the best shooters in the world are doing. I would love to see a full start to finish video from out of the box to tournament ready
I first thing out of the box I always check A to A and brace against factory spec. Usually they are off a bit, sometime far enough that I fix that before proceeding with anything else. It is also worth noting that if you set your D loop before you check cam synch, and you have to adjust the cables to get the cams synched, then your D loop will move slightly. Might have to adjust D loop location a bit. Make sure and set your poundage before you sync the cams too, changing that limb angle changes everything. All good, what a great video from an incredible talent. Thanks.
Thanks Levi. I want to build my bows going forward in my archery life and this helps big time. I will make mistakes along the way but learning bow builds is something I want to accomplish on my own.
Who the hell dislikes something like this? Probably some PSE fanboys... Not one moment of anything but a proven world class archer sharing his tips, tricks, and setup. Need more folks sharing and less hate. THANKS FOR SHARING!
Something I think is underrated is the editing of this video, especially the tourney stuff at the end. The webpage screengrab and photos are well done.
Hey tim, I've gotten back in the sport and been on some what of the same journey your going down . I want a bow to shoot all year round and would love to be able to have consistency and a good shooting bow at 100+ yards. Thought about getting a g2 36 for a hybrid but not sure I should go that route. Through your experience, what would you recommend for a good hunting and target bow that will stretch out longer distance as well?
Great video Levi, love seeing this type of content. I don’t have a shop nearby so I have had to learn this stuff on my own. Always love seeing how you do things.
Great stuff levi definitely would be interested to see the following process with shooting in nd how you go about the fine tune process, thanks for sharing
I had the same thought. I have never seen a shop put this much effort and detail into a bow build. I guess I don’t blame them, it’s too time consuming and the average bow hunter ain’t gonna pay for that extra time….but I wish it was an option to get a full detailed build and tune like this. Anyways, probably best we learn ourselves. A press and draw board then we can do everything he did
Not all knock points can be dead center like that, or even really close. (Center actually makes more sense in my head but not the case) I just got a new Elite Omnia and set it up myself, and after setting her all up I checked out of curiosity and the knock point was 3/4” higher than center. If it were directly in center, arrow would be laying on the shelf and still pointing up. I center arrow on burger hole. As far as I know you want 90 degrees off string and arrow going through center of burger hole.
2 things to try with cam timing without a press. move a limb bolt or move the dloop. people with press put fluff in the cable which is funny as it’s temporary fix when they cant twist cables to fix it
Hi Levi. This is Kai from Germany. I am a big fan. I want to ask if you can make a video when you shoot out your bow. With sight tape and all of this stuff.
I first tie a d-loop and then make a second layer of serving inside it so that the d-loop will not be able to compress it No one does that, but in vain. You need to choose thinner threads for serving so that the 2 layers are not too thick. The advantage of this method is that the d-loop does not shift to each other and after doing it once you can forget about it, there will always be a small backlash of the nock inside the d-loop.
Your videos are always incredible...not different here. Looks like you are shooting a Scott Longhorn Micro. Is that what you are shooting for hunting now as well?
I could watch these videos all day. The bcy spectra, is the the same as bcy #23 d-loop material? Also with the LCA drawboard I've been told checking timing it will be incorrect if both stops hit at the same time because of the position of the peg, that the top should be half a twist out? Could you please do a video on this? Thanks GOAT 🐐
I will doing my own bows from now on. I just bought a new lift and the guy didn’t take the time with me to paper toon. I walked in he said your all set took my credit card hit me for $2500.00 and said your all set. He had no other customers in the shop. I felt like I was at a car dealership. I’m not sure how mathews allows this. I think it’s time to set my own shop up.
Wish could find a way to make archery cheaper and more accessible to people.. I struggled with opiate dependency for 11 years up until 4 years ago I was able to get clean . And in me trying to find something to keep me focused on n out of trouble I wanted to start shooting and hunting again. But even with a full time 45h week job no wife or kids I can’t afford it. And it sucks. I just think it would help so many people like me if we were able to shoot .and go to TAC meets n stuff
Thanks for the knowledge man. Getting back into the sport and want a nice bow for all year round, hunting and target, should I go for a longe Ata bow that can hybrid like the bowtech reckoning G2 36 or what bow would you recommend. I'd love to be able to shoot 100+ yards. I'm 6'2"-6'3" with arpund a 29.5 inch draw
i have a landslyde, using the bridge lock i cant move the sight far enough to the right, so i have to mount it on the side, anyway to fix it with current scope?
After watching this video it honestly makes you wonder how many of our local shops have been setting bows up wrong the whole time
6:42 😅😅 6:42
Always More than one way. Many pros set up different. What he didn’t show was torque tuning. It’s like the holy grail of secrets in tournament archery
Yeah it's not a great idea to have a shop set up your bow in August. They slap things together and send it on its way.
Problem is people want there bows tuned like this yet complain when the cost is to high.
@@ryansiwuda8295 or the shop is too busy if it's a good bow store
Levi’s no bs and calm approach to archery and hunting is what people need.
Levi, you make things very easy to understand, very clear, very "everything", ...and I thank you very much!
If you can improve the amount of light in your workshop you will reach the perfection!
The super glue on the nocking point was game changing. Thanks for the pro tip!

This video is amazing. Archery Talk makes this whole process seem infinitely more difficult. Glad to seen the world’s best shoot keeps it simple.
Yeah I wouldn’t be disappointed if we got more of these style videos 👌

Nice to see content like this man
Thanks Levi. I want to build my bows going forward in my archery life and this helps big time. I will make mistakes along the way but learning bow builds is something I want to accomplish on my own.
Great shooting with the new Mathews Title competition bow!! Great to see the latest technology in the bow industry go through the proving grounds!
Thanks for sharing. Levi, best of luck with this setup when you compete!
Love the transparency man. The slightly advanced top cam timing is something I need to try.
Who the hell dislikes something like this? Probably some PSE fanboys...

Your comment started with hate!
Dude imagine being so good to just show show up with a hunting bow and place 3rd 😭 Levi is unreal
Something I think is underrated is the editing of this video, especially the tourney stuff at the end. The webpage screengrab and photos are well done.
Very well conducted and educational. Thanks for sharing
Waiting to see if / when you go to a Lift 33….As a Hoyt guy it’s a bow I’m very interested in! Great set up video…👊🏻🏹
Seeing the whole process was incredibly helpful. Thank you!
Very nice video. So simple and straight forward, so well articulated.
Bro! Just saw the championship on YT. Well done sir! Nice job.
Liked and shared
Thanks for the no nonsense sharing of your knowledge
Cool to see you getting back to doing RUclips more.. Look forward to it!!

Do you know if the phase 4 33 is that much more stable and better shooting than the 29. I'm looking for a 3d and hunting bow for use in a treestand
Awesome build man! Would love to see your process on fine tuning draw length and holding weight!
I wished you were shooting the Elite Era. I think you would love it.
Great video Levi, love seeing this type of content. I don’t have a shop nearby so I have had to learn this stuff on my own. Always love seeing how you do things.

This is awesome man. Would love to see a full Matthews Title build in the future now that it’s officially released!
Glad to see you putting stuff back on RUclips
Just started doing my own bow work and have been really nervous about that D loop end burn. This is great.
Makes me want to buy a bow press and do everything myself. I can’t imagine most shops are tuning bows this well.
I had the same thought. I have never seen a shop put this much effort and detail into a bow build. So glad to see you doing some content let’s see that Hunting set up

Excellent video! Thanks for taking the time to do it. Curious, how do you go about determining how much weight to run on your front and side bars?
Hi Levi. This is Kai from Germany. I am a big fan. I want to ask if you can make a video when you shoot out your bow. With sight tape and all of this stuff.
I really look forward to these vids
You don’t change your out the factory strings before setting up the bow. Do you always use factory strings?

Offhhh levi Morgan upping the youtube game. Fantastic content 💪
Great show , keep em coming !!
Man awesome stuff! Amazing detail. Def subscribing 😮
Good luck bid and thanks for your video new to your channel.
this channel is going to blow up insanely
Thank you for sharing your professional information brother. Proverbs 27:17
Awesome video brother!
Your videos are always incredible...not different here. Looks like you are shooting a Scott Longhorn Micro. Is that what you are shooting for hunting now as well?
The only bow tech I know hates his job. Complains about picky customers constantly. Makes me think diy is better.
Before any shooting i would of got a temp wrap on that peep, those heavy peeps love to fly out.
I could watch these videos all day. The bcy spectra, is the the same as bcy #23 d-loop material? 23 is spectra braid so I believe you are correct
Is that a 33"or the 29 phase 4
Thanks Levi Do you use the same sight for Hunting ?
your bow press height makes you look 7 foot. nice field point setup, how much does it change towards conventional methods when broadhead tuning?
Awesome video!
Do you torque tune at all? I guess that rest doesn't have forward/ backward adjustment though?
Where do you set your centershot? 13/16 or do you like it up down the riser or other?
Great video from a great archer. Just need more lighting.
I will doing my own bows from now on. I just bought a new lift and the guy didn’t take the time with me to paper toon. I noticed you didn’t take the sight all the way to the frame like you usually do. Any reason?
Show us how you torque tune

I shoot 100 yds with a 20 year old reflex/hoyt buckskin ! You don’t need a 1800$ bow to shoot 100 yds
What rest do you use for elk and a setup that's not in a tree stand or blind? I can't imagine using that rest when moving around.
Did you modify the draw board to make the handle lower?
Do you nock tune your arrows? Or use a ram spine tester?
Shoot Easton axis long range ! No spine seam no nock tune! Ur welcome
What kind of sight is that on your bow? And do you use the same sight on your hunting bow?
How does he work in the dark like that?
Love the content, just feel bad it's looks so dark in there
i have a landslyde, using the bridge lock i cant move the sight far enough to the right, so i have to mount it on the side, anyway to fix it with current scope?
Congratulations
Yes, yes, yes!!! Thank you Sir
What's the axel to axel length🤔 I thought mathews had different models
He shot the 33
What is your stabilization setup
You say you ordered a bow. Does it cost you?
Always great, informative videos, well done. P.S. 397 people will be cutting off their monkey tails immediately, lol.
I’ve always taken the tails off
You don’t have to cut them off, they just fly off by themselves
Thank you.
Seems so simple. Really great video. Luke9:62
Now I never want to buy a bow from an archery shop ever again, because they ALL do it wrong. Thanks
Just goes to show it's the archer not the bow
Can you set me up?
Its the Indian not the arrow. You know that
Stock zebras? No way haha
Bud not bid sorry lol
