Yes wanna see the QAD rest video!
Awesome shooting this is what I want too. Nice love the colors. Awesome!!!
Thank you, the brown and black has been a hot bow this year.
ok.👌👦💵🏹
Great vid. Great bows as you know. Replaced my TRX40 with a black Lift 33 for 3D and my granite V3X with a granite Lift 33 to hunt. They are such smooth shooters and I was getting 312fps with my TAC RIP XV’s at 65# ((29.25” d/l). I’ve got a Garmin and I put it on my tripod and set it so my front bar is basically aiming at it. SOOOO easy and quick to use. Looking forward to more on this bow. Well done
Thanks for watching, it sounds like you have some sweet setups.
What’s the stabilizer set up on the new lift? Length weight and brand if you could. It’s a good looking bow and you are shooting it real good for just having it. That’s awesome
It’s a 12” and right now only has the 2- 1 oz weight inserts that come from Mathews on it.
This material, just for 20 yards ?
I also use Grafton and they said similar the timing and paper were perfect out of the box on my Lift too. Bow took only a couple minutes to get fully setup and has been shooting perfect!
It is a shooter for sure.
I picked up a grip from a guy on etsy for $20 for my lift. Very basic, but a better feel than the engage.
That's good to know, thank you.
I have that vice system ,love it , although I mounted it on an arca rail so I can run it on one of my tripods since I am limited to bench space in my reloading/archery room , can use it in the middle of the room or take it with so i have it in the field ...
That's a good idea, thank you for the info.
When I saw muleys video, I thought the same thing lol. I didn’t want to wait months for my bow so I went solid earth. Nice looking rig.
Yea I got lucky just to get mine when I did.
Are those tan or buckskin color strings ?
I’m almost positive it is buckskin strings with buckskin serving.
@@BuffaloCreekOutdoorsOfficial thank you!
You said it's drawing 27". Is that with 26 1/2" mods? I have the same bow, my first Mathews in 43 years of bowhunting, I absolutely love it! Mine is drawing 27 1/2" with 27" mods. Great video BTW
No, it is actually drawing dead on 27" with 27" mods. They are the 80% mods, but of the Mathews I have tested this year with the 85% mods, they have drawn pretty spot on.
@@BuffaloCreekOutdoorsOfficial cool, thanks. Mine may be out of spec a bit. I'll check it
Just wondering why you chose to go with a 340 spine arrow? I’m shooting a lift at 67lbs with a 27.5” draw and looking to do a similar arrow as you but the charts say 300 or 340 spine.
Mathews engineers say that with their bows, if someone is on the line, to always go with the lower spine. At 67lbs, and 27.5" draw length, I would definitely recommend starting with 340s. Hope this helps.
I have a 29.5" DL and am shooting 70lbs and I went with 300 spine, they have been shooting perfectly. With your setup I would 1000% go with 340 spine unless you run super long arrows
If you don’t like the grip you could give Chris Bees grip a try.
That’s definitely still an option.
Good looking setup, and good video. Looking forward to raiding your vids 👍🏻
Thank you, and thanks for watching the channel.
I have been shooting the triax for years now. I have been in the market for a new bow the past few years but was not sold in anything that was out there. I just bought a lift because this is the first bow that impressed me in a long time. It is so quiet, light, and fast. It is the new standard in my opinion. May I also add that the price point is a bargain for what you are getting. Great video!
I’m in the same boat. The lift has really impressed me.
Same situation, went from Switchback XT, to Triax, and just got the Lift 29.5
All good bows.
Nice looking rig
Thanks 👍
Just for info, look at podium archery for titanium components for those arrows. He has some good stuff.
he has a 50 grain Stainless Steel HIT insert if youre interested
@@joshfredrickson6224 thank you. I have been eying some of his components. If I have issues with the Easton components this season, I will definitely be giving his a try.
@@BuffaloCreekOutdoorsOfficial He makes some nice stuff, I use his .204 titanium components and they are solid.
What watch is that?
Garmin fenix 7. I got it used for $150.00 haha
@@BuffaloCreekOutdoorsOfficial damn thats cheap lol
@@Loss8131 actually I told you wrong. It is a tactics delta. Which I’m pretty sure is almost the same thing as the fenix 7.
Any issues with the lift so far? limbs cracking?
I have a lift, probably the best shooting hunting bow I have ever owned.
My person limbs have not cracked. However there have been about 8 sets that have cracked on customers bows at the shop now. Mathews is saying that it is currently less than 1% of the lifts that have had that issue.
@@BuffaloCreekOutdoorsOfficial thanks for the transparency. Hopefully it's been fixed with new production and was just a bad batch of limbs.
I don’t get the hype on the new lift. My old halon had less vibration. I guess if you just take a few ounces off and give it a new name and great marketing anything will sell
The Halon was a great bow, but to say that the only difference between it and the Lift is a couple ounces of weight, is completely false. This years bow is the biggest change in design from Mathews since the halon came out. Completely different cam system, over limb axles, and a completely different, more balanced riser design.
That's a disingenuous and patently false statement. You haven't done your homework or have an arbitrary grudge against the new kid on the block. It's a bad look either way.
